This night me and Frau Franck where about to start an patrol at New Berlin.
Once I reached New Berlin I saw a freshly built base, it was not registered and right in front of our Planet!
The baseowner undocked pretty soon and we had a little talk about the reason why he is not allowed to build a base right in front of New Berlin without our permission.
Then reinfocements came, we allowed :KSP:-Panther to unload the base and withdraw the credits on it because he was very cooperative, not like his friend.. an OS&C ID'ed ship wich transported Ship Hull Panels, he did not listen to our commands and docked without permission on New Berlin instead of dropping his Cargo and leaving Rheinland Borders.

Once he unloaded the base we destroyed it and directed him to the Neuralnet fo further informations.

Last night some libertonians where invading Hamburg once more, there is not much to say about that fight, we won without any losses but something strange occured, the LNS-Coral.Sea charged right into the Westfalen, just to jump back where it came from, I guess New York?

Those tactics are very new to me, I think that he tried to pull us into their lair to seperate us and win the battle with this nonsense, fortunatly none of us was fooled by this tactic.
However I did not gather any guncam shots of this but some other from that battle.

Incidents:

#1 After a long and exhausting Patrol through Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg System, i was on my route back to where my Patrol started, and should end. I Already had my mind on after hours, and i exited the Trade Lane inbound to Dortmund, as i suddenly saw two contacts inbound from Bonn preforming an emergency quit out of their lane travel leading to me. With this suspicious maneuver i've decided to investigate the convoy prior to returning to Base.

As i managed to close up to Scanner range, and ask the contacts to maintain their flight path as i start a routine scan, they answered me by engaging their cruise engines and running away toward the Trade Lanes headed for New Berlin. As they had about 4.0k distance, i had to chase them all the way to Frankfurt, where i finally managed to stop one of the Vessels. Sadfully, as i haven't had a wingman with me, the other one escaped into the Nebula.

Anyways, the contacts turned out to be a group of Universal Shipping Freighters trying to stealth their Gate / Lane Parts trade run to Omega-11 through Rheinland by using Bretonian built freighters. Furthermore the Pilot i've managed to stop seemed to be very inexperienced. Probably Universal Shipping hired those newcommers only for that purpose. Who else would dare to fly through Rheinland for a Company banned from our Space?

Anyways.. Once i've caught one of the pilots by using force, he began to be very cooperative. I've ordered the Pilot to drop his cargo, destroyed the Gate / Lane Parts, fined him, and escorted him back to the Libertonian Borders.

Everything seems very quiet around New Berlin and Hamburg tonight. I started out at Planet New Berlin taking the trade lane to Essen Station and Dortmund Station, then onto the Hamburg jump gate. I then went up to Alster Shipyard, and onto the planet. From there I cruised into the Nordheide asteroid field, then across the trade lane to the Bremen jump hole in the Kielfeld asteroid field behind Planet Kiel. I encountered nothing out of the ordinary, just traders who were happy to see that there were no pirates around!

Gefreiter Schmitz and me have met with the pilots from the Secondary Fleet at Alster Shipyard, where we formed up to a strong group of three Fighter vessels supported by a Rheinland gunship. Being the lead of such a big force i wanted to use its potential to its maximum. Therefore i decided not to preform a regular patrol, but start operations securing the borders. Our first destination was Stuttgart system, covering the borders to the dangerous Omega worlds. As we traveled toward our first operation area, we preformed a standard space patrol through New Berlin System, while on transit to Stuttgart.

As we arrived Stuttgart, i've decided to split the Group up. I've ordered the fighter vessels to create Checkpoints at Omega-11 Gate, Omega-7 Gate and Koeln Gate watching inbound traffic from the Omegas. meanwhile i've ordered the Gunboat RNC-Vril to stay stationary at Planet Stuttgart as reaction force. With this system we have been able to efficiently cover the traffic jokepoint. With the forward elements at the Gates, and the Gunship lagging behind we would have been able to trap any not cooperating contacts in the Trade Lanes inbetween the Checkpoints and the Reaction force.

Once the positioning was done, we remained there for 10 minutes. Thankfully everything was quiet and as the time passed, we formed up at Freiburg base to shift our forces toward Hamburg. Having formed up, Pilot Moeller from the secondary fleet had to leave us for maintenance. We continued without him.

I've led the Group, now consisting of 2 fighter vessels and the Gunboat, through a short patrol through Koeln while on transit to Hamburg.

As we've reached Hamburg, i have assigned my Group to similar tactical positions as in Stuttgart.

Incidents:

#1 We've successfully halted a freelancing Rheinland Behemoth transport hauling Polymers enroute to Libertonian Space. We've ordered him to turn around deliver his cargo somewhere else and read up the Trade Regulations regarding the Embargo.

#2 A Military secondary fleet pilot tried to Bring a few Rheinlandish ID's (ALG, Republican, Kruger) into Libertonian Space, even tho he managed to pass the Gunboat of the reaction force orbiting Planet Hamburg, i've managed to shut down the Trade Lane inbound to my Checkpoint (Bering Gate), and therefor was easily able to intercept the Pilot due to prior warning of Captain Stamek.

Since he was obviously not aware of how dangerous such ID's can be in the hand of libertonians, we ordered the Pilot, having first symthoms of the LAWL syndrom, to fly back to Hamburg, destroy the mounted ID Keys, and NOT to fly his military vessel further into Libertonian Space.

Just as we were about to call it a day, leave our positions and RTB, the Behmoth Transport from #1 appeared on our scanners again. This time with even more sensitive Cargo. He had his belly full of light arms. Thankfully his intentions this times were not anywhere in liberty. His destination this time was the Battleship Westfalen near Planet Kiel.

Even tho he did not possess the licence to haul restricted Cargo of that kind , we decided that, as long we escort the Vessel to the Ship nothing can happen, and since already was so close to the Battleship, which for sure needs the weapons, we let him finish his run under our protection. During our escort we again briefed the Pilot about the LAWs. as he seemed to be very cooperative and he promised us not to haul such cargo again until he got a licence for it, no further actions were take.

Patrol Report Description:

[color=white]Guten tag,

When I've just been back in duty a few days ago, I've recieved an Emergency Call, speaking of a Liberty Navy Fleet, which was about to enter Bremen. Immediately, I made my way to Battleship Westphalia to assist against the large number of 9 Battleships.
Arrived there, I got told, that the fleet would be 'waiting' in New Hampshire. And it seemed like they won't enter Bremen that soon.
So I decided to take a quick look behind the lines, and jumped to New Hampshire... right into the greeting arms of said hostile 9 Capital Vessels. Whereupon I got shoot at right after I left the Jumphole.

Trying to avoid the fire of them, I managed to pick a few Cruiser out from the main fleet, and tried to damage them. But it had no sense, they were too strong, and me being hardly short-handed.
I planed to jump back to Bremen. But when I tried to get back through the enemy lines, a lucky missile hit my hull and forced me to eject my rescue capsule into the Jumphole.

Back in Bremen, I recieved a new Bergelmir at Battleship Westphalia, ready to defend Bremen, if it comes to another fight.

After a while, the Navy fleet appeared near the New Hampshire Jumphole, attacking our group, consisting of one Turtle, three Bombers and a Wraith. The fight of survival began.

It only took a few minutes, when our single Capital support got destroyed.
Soon after, we managed to smash a Liberty Dread into pieces. After that, the fight could have taken hours.
In the end, I searched protection near Battleship Westphalia.

Meanwhile, the Liberty forces tried to break Westphalia's shields, without success.
After a long time, they got bored and draw their forces back to New Hampshire.

Report on Scramble[color=#FFFFFF] Nr.03-2607819

As Battleship Moselle received an Emergency Report of three unkown Libertonian Vessels in Hamburg System, i got scrambled to Rendevouz with the Quick Response Flotte at Hamburg Gate to repell the Intruders.

I arrived first at the Rendevouz Point. Loitering beside the Hamburg Jumpgate was a Drone of unknown origin. After Several attemts to contact the Drone had failed, i was afraid that the drone, loitering the Jumpgate into a System where enemy activites have been reported, might be part of the enemy forces and gathering Intel on inbound Rheinwehr units, so i have decided to destroy it.

Oddly enough just a few moments later, a drone of the same specifics had re-entered New Berlin from the libertonian besieged Hamburg system, broadcasting following message:

"Gefreite Franck, this is Admiral Schmidt from the High Command speaking, please do not destory our idling drones next time"

If that vessel was really property of Rheinland Military Assets, i hereby apologize. But since I was not aware of such vessels being owned by the Military, and with the Vessel not responding, nor having any proper IFF responder mounted, i had to go through all possibilites which left me no choice but to destroy the vessel.


So.. Just a few seconds as i've received the Broadcast from the Drone, Libertonian Forces where entering New Berlin. As allied elements of the Quick Response Flotte were still enroute to my position i had to stall their forces alone. I engaged their single Snub Bomber Escort evading the defensive fire of the two libertonian capital ships, and started to work on decimating the bombers regens. Thankfully, it took not all to long before BDM|RNC-Brynhildr arrived at the scene and helped me out. With the Bomber already lacking regens, the Marinenachrichtendienst Cruiser was quickly able to pick up the Kill, and so we started working on the Capital Ships.

Sadfully my Wraith VHF was not equipped for fighting Captials, yet i still had to support our Cruiser and the recently joined Rheinland Bomber piloted by Gefreiter Gehlen, so i've decided to go in full risk, diving in for fast fly-bys while deploying Nuclear mines as i passed their hulls. I did that maneuver several times helping BDM|RNC-Brynhildr taking down one of the enemy Capitals. As i moved on to the second, and therefor last Libertonian Ship, their close range weaponry managed to take me out of action as i came in for the third Mine deploying fly-by.

Thankfully my Survival Pod got tractored in by our Assets as soon the last remaining Libertonian Ship had been eliminated.

Incidents:

#1 As my Patrol path led me to New Berlin planet i've found a pair of Unioner Cruisers orbiting Planet New Berlin. Being unable to fight such a thread in my Wraith fighter, i immediately called for Bomber backup over Fleets Emergency Channels while i followed the Cruisers, now heading away from New Berlin, drifting slowly toward the Northeast of the System. At Grid Sektor F4, things escalated. Even tho i've told the Bomber Pilot from the secondary not to fire yet as they seem retreating, one of the Unioners Captain had a very loose trigger finger. So it happened that the Cruiser started fire upon the Bomber and the engagement began to get hot. Thankfully after a short Time, 2 more bomber vessels from the Quick Response Fleet arrived. We were able to take out one of the Unioner Cruisers, and managed to damage the second cruiser before the bombers began starving on munitions. As the bombers ran out of Materials to throw after them, our Fleet disengaged and let the damaged cruiser go as he most likely was retreating and no threat anymore.

As i've continued my Patrol toward Frankfurt System, my sensors picked up a huge explosion for a unknown reason, just somewhere along the path i assumed the second Cruiser was retreating on. I do not know wether the core was overheating, or the Unioner Captain rammed an Asteroid but whatever may have happened, the explosion signatures, matched the ones of a Hel Class Cruiser.

Loitering at Bering Jumpgate enforcing the Embargo, i've encountered 2 Vessels of Orbital Spa & Cruise jumping into Rheinland Territory, headed for Munich. A Scan showed minor signs of Synthetic Marijuana onboard. A very small amount, more personal belongings but commercial smuggling. I assume not even a hand full. Seemed as it got smuggled onto the Ship by one of the many tourists onboard. Anyways, since i have had more important things to do, than board a Liner, searching for a single individual owning small amouts of Marijuana, and the OS&C's lack the equipment to track such small amounts onboard, I've let them continue their travel as they said they'll check the passengers at munich during the check-out.

As they've reached Munich, the Captain hailed me, reporting that the Person had been detained and the marijuana destroyed.
