RE: Gallics! - addy007 - 09-09-2013 Gallics! And Valors! RE: Gallics! - Thunderer - 09-09-2013 Gauls. RE: Gallics! - tothebonezone - 09-09-2013 Gallic is actually pretty cool, but it has a few problems. 1: It's far out of the way for most players. That being Liberty and the surrounding areas. 2: Its systems are ungodly massive. And that was just 4.85. Every patch, systems seem to grow bigger. 3: Everything is overpowered for the sake of drawing traffic in. It's a nice idea, just badly launched. Yup, as been said before me, Sol has been destroyed. It is nothing more than solar ash, a scorched remainder of Pluto and maybe a new star forming from what was left over and got heated up from Jupiter, Saturnus and Uranus (or maybe just the gas cloud prior to star-birth).

I agree, the systems could be smaller and simplier than what they are now, in 4.86, but let's see what the next version brings to us. Less space to get lost in, and less factions to try and deal with. Most of the other houses got about this amount of factions. Shouldn't we merge Ageira, DSE and USI? Shouldn't we get rid of the Unioners and the LWB? Each faction you mentioned has it's own unique lore and place in Gallia.

Gallic Junkers are way different. They are the junkers of Gallia (you know, the ones who deal with scrap), and the lowest of the loyalists. They used to be the spies of the Crown and now they roam Sirius to pirate and scavenge. They are not the shady maffia who you were speaking of, and who the Corse are now.

Yeah..so they're supposed to be like a French mafia..that smuggles drugs. Isn't that role already filled out by the Gallic Junkers? To me, that makes them redundant and unnecessary. Or...it makes Gallic Junkers unnecessary. No, the Gallic Junkers actually barely smuggle. In fact, they smuggle /for/ the Corse, most of the time they actually smuggle. They're more of a Lawful corporation with on the side deals, and in fact function quite the same as Daumann except for their main activities, rather than a Semi-Lawful organisation. The closest they come into Semi-Lawfulness is the fact the Outcasts threatened to destroy stations they own if they did not help them infiltrate Gallia. They do host Freeports, but that's out of sight from the eyes of the law, and they don't actually do illegal dealings there, most of the time. So no, they're not smugglers, but facilitators. Very common too in real life. Read da lore. Gallia isn't exciting.Earth and Sol are destroyed As in one of my earlier threads, an interesting theory someone brought up was basically- earth and sol only destroyed in the extended intro, so you could change it to fit disco where it's NOT destroyed. edit: flood. also, I <3 my valor.
