I dunno... depends on what look you're going for. Right now it looks like it could shoot off on its ultra-powerful engine.:cool:It looks very good, and extremely fitting for the Order.:DToo bad about Igiss and the forward gun, though. That would have been interesting.

nice model, but I feel that it needs to be even more different than the li cruiser, right now it is a tad tooooooo simillar. Maybe you could add somme ornements and add a few parts (like small fins for guns mounts)

It would be fun it you could make it abstract, liek Jinx did with the Eagle like model. This cruiser screams SPHYNX for me.

looks good - although its totally inefficient... the order could much easier steal a liberty cruiser in an official RP event ( saves them billions of developing costs )

about foreward guns - yes, they are not too popular with igiss - nor with the playerbase. ( its not like the BD cruiser or the liberty cruiser are spammed )

Lib cruiser forward gun is actually quite good. Better than a light mortar in almost every way. Of course, that makes the Lib cruiser a great cap killer, along with its fairly small cross-section, but due to the fact that it only has 7 turrets, people don't seem very attracted to it. The forward gun idea would probably work, if only due to the fact that the Order is forced into lots of fights with the Nomads and their awesome battleships, along with the Guild Core.

Well good model.... But, it has some stuff that need to be clarified.

First, engine is good, but too big. Engine that big would consume too much fuel for so small ship, and Order kinda doesnt have much funds.

Second, forward "ribbed" part is somewhat... too similar to liberty

Third, underbelly needs more work, whole ship is too cylindrical right now.

maybe too much of a ripoff of the lib cruiser, it just has upgraded engine if you ask me.
If it would be RP, then I would say that the order cruiser should not have a forward gun, as the liberty scraped that idea when they made the dreadnought. and all order ships are upgrade versions of the liberty ones.

I'm not going to risk trying to use a lib cruiser as an order character, because I'll likely get sanctioned for it again. Seems only the official factions can RP their way into fancy ships they dont normally have access to - I cant use a liberty ship any more than a bounty hunter can fly a nephthys.

Also, the order works in a lot of asteroid fields and nebulas, and are focused on hit and run attacks and strategic strikes rather than brute force - this would serve as a far better vessel for that than an osiris battleship, or even the carrier you designed (the carrier is more of a command center for larger fleet movements IMO).

They'd be better off developing gunboats and cruisers for the environment they fight in, and for the style they fight with.

the order bases most of it's stuff on liberty ships because... almost everything they own was stolen from liberty to begin with. The anubis and original osiris were both liberty fighter/battleship prototypes from alaska.

They're supposed to look more advanced, but still very similar to liberty design.

Anyways, im working on altering it some right now, almost done.

Here's the new version, took out the forward gun, added some 'cones' for turret hardpoints (10 total, seems about right for a fairly manuverable cruiser - zoner dessie has 9 and corsair cruiser has 12). I scaled down the engine part a little bit, and added some 'heat sink' arch-things to the top and bottom of the ship. 'windows' on the front of the ship were fixed for the new hull shape.
