Beutiful. The Harvesters I think would need a replacement criuser as this one is VERY Kusari and I would have a hard time believeing this thing is anything but Kusari. WHere the current models lack of any house features are its main selling point for us.
Maybe the idea we were talking about in PMs could be more criuserfied (with thruster instead of with out) than we were talking and thus we replace the Talarca with that on our roles.
Otherwise it would leave a tactical hole in our ship list and a vital one at that. ( Our main warship)
I will talk things over with you in PMs and with my faction because this model is too great to deprive Kusari of this.

I wouldnt be such a stickler but getting a ship list change other than nerfing us to gunboats and below is a tough sale to admin. So I'm loath to lose a thing.

well - what we talked about via PM applied to the - errr.. alien like ship. - i m not sure if i can proceed with it - if certain people block your factions history point blank. - makes no sense to make a ship that cannot be included cause the lore of the faction is changed.
about the talarca - well.... if its gotto be generic - i d suggest to leave it as it is - you hardly find a more generic ship than this.
i agree though.... this design does not at all support the harvesters ideas of a ship. - its more a kusari ship than anything else.
ps.: i m texturing the other ship tomorrow and will experiement with the ini and some effects and see whats actually possible. - i added plenty of details to the other ship i PMed you - but it still suggests the one origin. - gotto clear up if your background story stands or changes i guess.

I like it. I can live with this. Perhaps texturing will make me like it more. I agree that their needs to be a decision made. Is this a civilian light cruiser or a kusari smaller faction's light cruiser?
If the latter then independents such as myself will need a civilian light cruiser replacement....
just a thought.
EDIT: Perhaps this: Drop the top two rear wings and sweep the wings back on the bottom rear. Lose that front drop piece (it reminds me of the bretonian gunboat/destroyer front drop). See how that looks?
And, YES, more defined crew quarters and a bridge.

::facepalm:: The Talarca was the only plausible science cruiser in the mod (both weapon-wise, and look-wise) i'd actually prefer it if you would've improved the standard non-kusarian look of it instead of making it into a full out Kusari ship.
It's a nice models, so don't get me wrong! It's just a bit sad to see one of the only ships that could ever pass for a science ship vanish into the kusari fold.
So... uhm... Flame on? :-S

I cant think of a better ship RPwise for rich freelancers/mercs. By making look Kusari it is basically making it a Kusari ship.

alright - this is NOT a talarca replace anymore - but it might replace the kusari cruise liner ( star trek model )

now, its very similar to the talarca - however, the talarca is produced in kusari, too - so it can be similar - since the talarca is basicly a refitted civi vessel - this liner could be the basic chassis on which the talarca was build - and refitted. ... anyway, this has the size of a container transport - less weapons of course.
the ingame pictures are rather bad, cause the camera distance was too great.... it shares some elements of the kusari battleship ( the one i made, not the one that is in the game )
all ingame pictures are taken in tau. its white light without any ambient colour - but pretty bright.
edit: i forgot the bikini babes - but it has some dragons on the roof - i know, its not really a substitute, but still something to look at ( when you re in a starflier and can get real close to it )
