AP Manufacturing - Agmen of Eladesor - 09-28-2008

Incoming Transmission
To: All
From: Mr. Jeff Phelps, CEO
Subject: Deuterium transport
Priority: Normal

At this time, we have reached an agreement with the BAF regarding the transportation of Deuterium FOB Deshima Station vice Gran Canaria. We also have an agreement with the BPA for transportation of this cargo.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, all APM ship captains will institute the following new policy:

When docking at Deshima Station with a cargo of deuterium, captains will fill out a contact report as shown above, and will transfer the sum of 500,000 Sirius credits to APM Headquarters (APM-Sagittarius), for forwarding to BPA / BAF authorities. This fee is based on a per load basis, not on the size or capacity of your ship. Should you end up not carrying a full load of deuterium, you will still be responsible for the full amount of 500,000 credits. As per normal APM policy, any passage fees you may be required to pay come from your gross, not your net reportable income, and have no effect on this contract.

Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter, and please keep your log books in order - we are coming up on the end of the calendar year and are due for an inspection by all relevant authorities.

Shipment Outcome: SUCCESSFUL
Any other details: Multiple runs

Well Grats to the new CEO, here's the report for my activities. The new heavy tanker is out of initial testing and I have been running her through her trials. Made 2 runs from Cardiff to the Ring and back. The expanded cargo hold is great, but she turns a bit slow. Having her turning thrusters adjusted. Hope that makes a difference. Will be staying on the Cardiff/ Ring run for this week untill I have a good feel for how this beast handles. My mechanic Carl Desoto is having a hayday with the new engines. Currently docked and getting loaded with more Beryllium for the run back to The Ring

RE: Gateway Interstellar

Gentlemen:

Gateway Interstellar is undergoing a transition period at this time in its executive management.

The announcement of this issue for them coincides with the receipt by my office of the recent fiscal report on our shipping activities. Our shipping line has always been a subsidiary of the the main corporation, and our shipping and freight activities have traditionally provided only a small net profit to the corporation and thus our stockholders.

This is, of course, due to our carrying our own supplies for shipbuilding in our own bottoms, being self-insured against cargo loss, and using our own crews, with no sub-contracting of any of our routes.

The net result, of course, is that while we as a company are profitable, our ships and crews still require the same amount of fuel, air, food, and pay when they are traveling from point A to point B, regardless of whether they are actually carrying a cargo or not. By sub-contracting with Gateway Interstellar to handle some of their lesser cargo routes that happen to coincide with our trans-shipment destinations, we can increase our bottom line profitability with quite literally no additional wear and tear on our vehicles.

For example, one of our ships at this time may be delivering polymers to Planet Denver. That ship would then dead head from Denver to either Pueblo Station and pick up superconductors for delivery to the Ring or to Deshima to pick up optronics for delivery to Cambridge. Instead of flying empty, our ship could deliver some commodity that would reduce the need for Gateway to have a ship on a low profitability route, while at the same time increase OUR corporate net profit.

Obviously our ship sales to the Bounty Hunters Guild would still be our main source of income as a corporation. At the same time, by allowing this diversification, we help both Gateway (by allowing them to survive instead of Bowex becoming a monopoly in shipping - since who knows what would happen then) and ourselves. This would also allow us the ability to increase our contacts and suppliers throughout Sirius, which will only allow for greater expansion of our company in the future.

Sincerely,

Jeff Phelps, CEO

Another Rheinland run completed. Confident that she'll hold together for longer flights. My Crew loves the larger quarters. My 2nd in command Brent Theifle wishes we had more guns though. The RH unlawfuls were thiick today getting in and out of Stuttgart. Seems the Hessians want a big ole' peice of us. Anyhow yime to stop messing around witht eh easy runs. I know Deshima needs a shipment of Deutrium so will be making that run tomorrow. Already loaded up with water to truck down to Gran Canaria in the morning. Hopefully the BAF folks around in the morn will remember that we are licensed to carry the stuff. Will drop a message with payment once the run is done.

Once note Since I have automated alot of this ship any one know where I can get a hot tub...we have a spare crew quarters, that would be perfect for a mini spa.

Well took a load of water down to the Gran Canaria and picked up a full hold of Deutrium. Had a nice quiet trip up to Deshima where they were very glad to take it off my hands. Transferred the paymeny of 500k over to APM-Sagittarius, and after installing the new hot tub and sauna in the spare crew quarters, we filled the hold with Optronics and headed for Cambridge.

Chatted with the newest S/D member Mark Williams and pointed him to Freidstadt so he could get his Hammer head. Will be good to have more of those S/D boys and girls running around. Also chatted with APM-Cancer informed him of the changes to the Deshima run and that Cardiff and the Ring both needed shipments from each other. So a pretty good day. Gonna take a few days off and relax in the new tub. Need to have the left engine looked at anyhow. Carl seems to think it has an odd vibration coming from it and wants to bring in a scanning team. Should be back on track by Monday.

Shipment Outcome: SUCCESSFUL
Any other details: Multiple successful cargo runs made today, primarily due to escort by S/D agent. Picked up escort in California northbound first run, got load. Coming back from Deshima to Cortez jump gate, there was a pirate blockade at Jump Gate. Due to my escort, we were able to slip through and get in safely. Monitored the situation southbound. Offloaded optronics at New London instead of Cambridge to cut trip time. Finished up with a second run to Deshima - with no issues. We saw a couple of pirates on scanners, but nothing came close to us.

S/D-Torre.Magusson, paid 1,200,000 credits for escorting 3 cargo runs safely.
Transferred 750,000 credits each to BAF|Armoury and BPA)Carapace for three (3) deuterium runs by APM pilots.
