RE: To IMG | HQ - Zen_Mechanics - 01-12-2014 I wouldn't mind to be frank, though I don't see any possible way to tow the ship, though perhaps jumping it would be possible, and then perhaps tow it to the shipyard. However, for this to work I'll need to dispatch my Quantum scanners to be able to have the data for the jump. Sadly, it is on my old - unused carrier which I was long ago positioned. I'll see what I can do about that, however ; if theres any way to bring it to your shipyard without being detected, I'm all ears. I don't mind where, I only care to get it done. RE: To IMG | HQ - Zen_Mechanics - 01-16-2014 Well I couldn't resist, so I have notified my arrival to the shipyard before hand, the jump was succesful and it took a tremendous work to moor the craft. I assume the Doc and the others will tag along to finish the mechanics so I can get on with this. RE: To IMG | HQ - Zynth - 01-17-2014 Mr Dvir,
Good evening, I am Dr. Shinichiro Kawashima, head of production of the IMG and Singapore shipyard's head administrator. Anyway, down to business.
Mr. Henderson has informed me about the necessary secrecy of this operation. And unfortunately, Singapore shipyard isn't the safest place to stow the ship due to GRN presence in the system. However, I took the initiative of devising a course of action to avoid any possible confrontation. As soon as the ship was jumped to us, we had it towed to a location away from Singapore shipyard, but within the Sumatra cloud in the rough direction of Planet Mindanao. Here, we can work on the ship with relative ease due to the proximity of Singapore shipyard and yet keep the ship hidden due to the cloud's sensor dampening abilities. We are currently preparing sensor distortion probes and a few hazard buoys to be placed around that area. If questioned, the area will be cordoned off due to high radiation given out by Planet Mindanao and trapped in the Sumatra cloud. This way, Singapore can monitor traffic heading towards it and generally, nobody would want to pass by Planet Mindanao due to the high radiation. We can keep both sides monitored to ensure maximum security. Meanwhile, as the plan unfolds, perhaps we can meet to discuss the plans for this ship. Singapore shipyard is an isolated place with some degree of recreation facilities, perhaps a meeting there would be wise? Regards, Shinichiro Kawashima, Head of Production RE: To IMG | HQ - Zen_Mechanics - 01-17-2014 Thank you Dr. Shinichiro Kawashima, for taking the time to reply and hopefully solve the issues Im currently facing. A meeting in person will be more than productive. Your idea of using the cloud is brilliant, I wish to avoid any contact other than the guild and once you grant me clearance to walk among you, I'll be making my way to see you. Please contact me as soon as possible, I have every intention to make it easy and short, and I believe we both have the ambition to succeed. RE: To IMG | HQ - Zynth - 01-18-2014 Mr Dvir,
Please please, I am the administrator of Singapore Shipyard. When I say you can meet me on the station, my very word itself is clearance of the highest level. Feel free to drop in at your own convenience, I spend most of my time on the station itself anyway.
Just do inform me of the credentials of your shuttle. Singapore is one of the more heavily guarded of IMG installations. This will save you the trouble of being stopped by every IMG patrol in the region. Oh and Dr. Kawashima is fine, I am aware of the lengthiness of my name. Regards, Shinichiro Kawashima, Head of Production RE: To IMG | HQ - Zen_Mechanics - 01-18-2014 Thank you for the quick response, I'll be making my way with my personal home-made spacecraft, under the callsign "Incognito" within the next three hours, fourtantly Im bringing my wallet, if the need arises and if additional funds are to be required. However I should mention this to you Dr, that the person who built this flying.. "fortress" was none the less infected, and I feel that I should inform you in advance that this task will not be easy, because It doesn't take to be a rocket scientist to know that they are clever. However, the ship itself is clean from any infestation, and I can assure you, both in word and deed, that whatever it is that you discover, will be yours. I have every intention to share its secrets to the guild, and any data collected can be stored within the guild for future purposes. It is the least that I can do, short of paying more money. Let me know where do I need to go once I dock at the shipyard. RE: To IMG | HQ - Zynth - 01-18-2014 Mr Dvir,
Unfortunately I am not fond of having infected people on board my station for quite obvious reasons. If this "person" that built your ship is coming along, I am afraid I cannot allow him on board my station.
Because of the highly unfortunate circumstances, I am afraid I would have to have a team certify you and your ship are completely clean, I cannot rely on your word alone. Security teams will also have to keep watch on your ship during the duration of the stay. Please do not take this as a sign of hostility, it is simply safety protocol. We had run-ins with the Nomads before and most of them were most unpleasant. When you arrive and gone through the screening, I'll have somebody escort you to my office. I'll make all the necessary preparations for your arrival. Regards, Shinichiro Kawashima, Head of Production RE: To IMG | HQ - Zen_Mechanics - 01-18-2014 I understand, I should have mentioned that I shot her in the head, so the infectee is no longer an issue. The interal structure of the vessel is less human however, but as Ive mentioned it is run by electricity so I pressume we can understand all of it. Ill go through the scans as a sign of my comitment, but I can assure you, I despise nomads as I despise basegolf, and so much for the same reason. Ill be arriving shortly RE: To IMG | HQ - Zen_Mechanics - 01-24-2014 David rises to his feet, helped on either side by two officers to get out from the airlock. They are both, he notices, grimy and noticeably malodorous, as if they have been living rough for several weeks. Underneath the skin, though, they seem cheerful and pleasant. David smiles at each in turn, and holds up his hands in mock surrende r "I have a meeting with Dr Shinichiro Kawashima" he said, quickly looking right, left,up to have his first impression while saying so. RE: To IMG | HQ - Zynth - 01-26-2014 "Ah yes, he's been expecting you." came the monotonous response while the security guards scanned his person according to security protocol. A quick scan and a few pat downs later, the guards signalled to David to follow him. Flanked by two armed guards, he is escorted through the labyrinth of dry docks and production lines with the workers scurrying around doing their work, hardly taking notice of him. Soon, the party approaches a double wooden door, the side plate reads "Head of Production: Shinichiro Kawashima". The guards signalled for David to enter the room while the two of them stood guard just outside. He opens the doors to reveal a quaint office with ample space and a large wooden desk in the middle. Seated at the desk, flanked by a neat pile of paperwork and a neural net screen is an elderly man in a suit. He rises and sticks out his hand. "I am Shinichiro Kawashima, IMG Head of Production. You must be Mr. Dvir. We have much to discuss, please, take a seat." |
