I like the idea, especially for the Marauder.
Kusari Civilian ships may also be worth looking at, with some RP from Kishiro going in that direction. In fact, this may be more logical than the Renzu ships.

I'm a bit divided on this.
On the one hand, since I consider ship-based technerf to be the worst idea in discovery freelancer, and possibly human history, of course I'd like to see "Sirian" ships capable of using Gallic technology.
On the other hand, that might simply enforce this atrocious feature, justifying it by way of ships that are exempt from it.
I really can't decide.
Edit: Where's the option "All Gallic tech should be allowed on Sirius ships, and vice versa"?
