But aren't you guys semi-friendly to Zoners and the Corsairs? Link the Coalition faction rep very slightly to Corsairs or whoever their 'friends' are, so doing missions will very slowly increase Coalition rep... Then, Coalition missions?

Nope, we don't get on with Corsairs any more (My fault, really. Not intentional, but my superiors were pleased with the results.). Friendly with Zoners due to necessity, same with Xenos.
Some other groups we're disdainfully neutral towards. I guess the Order are okay.
Coalition missions sound awesome, though.

Very slight rep link to the Zoners and Xenos? Zoners don't have missions, so if someone wanted to make a Coalition character without a repfix they'd need to either buy bribes, get Zoner/Xeno rep lowered again, then buy more... Or do bucketloads of Xeno missions, at least until they qualify for possible Coalition missions. Probably not quite as hard as getting a Freelancer tag, but still a fair bit of work. I think that increasing Coalition rep for killing Coalition enemies (most everyone) would be a bad idea, limit it to tons of ally missions/ally bribes.

Well, don't tell anyone I said this, but the Xenos wouldn't be the greatest choice of ally for us, right now it being a marriage of convenience. Foreigner-hating terrorists probably wouldn't like a bunch of Commies that are probably European at any rate.

just offer coalition bribes from gran canaria and have coalition missions in their part of space. You get up to nuetral or semi-friendly with the bribe, then do missions... same as most other factions.

I'd say link Coalition rep to Unioners and Xenos if anything. Would make far more sense than Corsairs.
Also bribes are a no go IMO. Coalition probably wouldn't be bribed in RP, since they would have no use for Alliance chips now would they?

I think Coalition bribes would make it waaay too easy for every OORP trader out there to get themselves neutral to them. If non-repfixed Coalition reputation was made possible, it should be fairly difficult to acquire.

If you are good enough for an ID, you are good enough for a tag. Probably won't happen, but would be funny to see the variety in Coalition NPC names (Sergei Petrosovich, Zhang Xiang, Abdullah Hussein and so forth in one group..).
I don't see how independent (military) Coalition characters can work, given the SCRA RPs as the (para)military wing of the Coalition survivors, as opposed to a mere section (like the KNF faction's roleplay as a Taisho's fleet or the QCRF's roleplay as an eccentric umbrella organisation).

If you add a bribe it will only result in O52 remaining as it is now, a trader's haven to anyone with a Zoner bribe.
