RE: Orbital Spa and Cruise | Internal Communications - djordje_petrovic - 02-19-2014 » SOURCE: E Ted Prescot » COMM-ID: Ted Prescot, OS&C Captain » TARGET-ID: OS&C HQ » SUBJECT: First impressions Respectable Directors of OS&C , today i made a run from Cortez system to Boavista station in omega 50. I used route from Cambridge to Poole and newly discovered hole to Omega 50 directly. These systems are peacefull and not plagued by war or unpredictable Mollies. As i have mentioned in my initiall application i am interested to conduct lines in Southern Sirius. Omega 49, omega 3 , omega 41 , omicron theta , omega 9 , Baden Baden I could try to negotiate to open weekly charter flight to Crete in Omicron Gamma. I could make some informal contacts to see if nation of Hispania would find beneficial to renounce from their isolationism and accept some visitors on planet. Their approval could provide us safety in distant travelers hubs as freeport 5 in omega 41 , freeport in theta and omicron 74. However this is just propostion, even if Corsairs accept our offer we could retain rights not to engage in such endavour if that would not benefit us. Although i think Crete could be touristic atraction. I was there several times, their countryside and way of living is far more traditionall than cosmpolitanic nature of Houses architecture, could say more in some arhaic fashion we can see on historic images from Sol. that is unique and exotic. Think about this proposition, no need to rush. In meantime ill commit to maintaining line from Boavista/Porto - BadenBaden - Curacao triangle . Prescot out. RE: Orbital Spa and Cruise | Internal Communications - Connor - 02-20-2014 » SOURCE: My Office » COMM-ID: Joshua Wood, OS&C CSO » TARGET-ID: Melanie Tyler » SUBJECT: Touketsu Bomber Ms. Tyler, It's good to hear that your Touketsu Bomber is coming along nicely. I've been told that the recent developments of your new bomber are coming along well. Infact, i've just been told it is ready for you to take out for a test spin. It's currently been moved to Hanger Two (2) because we have a few other Security ships in need of servicing. Feel free to pick it up anytime you want. Now, about your proposal. The security team, by now, is aware about what happened the other day and it is my pleasure to announce that the person who smuggled on those Artifacts has been caught and is currently under investigation by the Liberty Police Inc. Anyway, you have brought up valid point but quite frankly, if the Law Enforcements of any house we venture into ask us to halt, we must do so without hesitating, otherwise it would look bad upon us if we were not to stop. I can bring something up at the next Board Meeting, but i'm not sure if it will go down well. By the way, good work on your most recent reports. Wood out. RE: Orbital Spa and Cruise | Internal Communications - Melanie Tyler - 02-20-2014 » SOURCE: Hephaestion Training Centre, Planet Curacao » COMM-ID: Melanie Tyler, OS&C Officer » TARGET-ID: Internal Channel » SUBJECT: FAO: CSO Director Wood, Thank you, sir. It wasn't my intention to imply that we adopt a philosophy of steaming past law enforcement like a blinded rhinoceros. I'm quite aware that trying that would probably result in our liners receiving additional, state supplied, ventilation. The idea was more to prevent three thousand people being delayed because one passenger failed to read the prohibited goods list. The LPI aren't exactly my favorite organisation to deal with but, knowing them, if there's a way to reduce their workload, they'll go with it, sir. That aside, there was a second matter I wanted to talk to you about. During my flight with Ms Collins yesterday we were forced to abandon the lanes in favor of travelling by jump hole. Not a problem in itself, aside from a bit of vertigo, but if venturing off the lanes is going to become a regular occurrence, as Captain Prescot's suggestion implies, I just don't think the Eagle'll cut it for that sort of mission. Let's be honest here, sir, the Condor's rubbish. It's a bunch of guns strapped to an Eagle that someone dropped heavy weights on until it stretched. Useful for looking intimidating, and it does a fine job holding off assaults until help from law enforcement shows up, but out in the distant space our tours frequent, we just can't bet on that help showing up in time to find anything more then a stripped carcass. I don't that's a result any of us want, and with the war in Gallia eating up house forces like it is, sir, I don't think we'll be able to trust to domestic forces for our security indefinitely either. With that considered, I'd like to ask permission to open negotiations on behalf of OS&C for two military-grade gunboats to bolster our long-range escort fleet. Employing gunboat-class escorts on long journeys also eliminates the requirement for the liner to provide support for a fighter wing in the form of hangar space, food, water, and sleeping quarters. A military ship might not be as comfortable as the Condor or quarters on an Enterprise, but it's my opinion that it's infinitely better suited to the task of defending our clients. My first preference would be the Libertonian "Defiant" class. I haven't flown aboard one personally, but I'm familiar with the layout and function of Republic warships, and I'm confident that I could train potential crew members to a sufficient level to operate one. Add to that the number of our patrons that would be used to seeing a Defiant under military characters back home, and I feel that it could provide a definite boost to passenger confidence. Failing that, the Bounty Hunter's "Orca" class could also be a viable option, considering the former establishment's working relationship with the Guild, though I would need assistance in puzzling out the operation of that particular breed of ship. For your consideration, sir. Tyler out. I just wanted to see if this new communication software is operational. Also I want to report to Ms. Collins that my liner OS&C|Riviera is eager and prepared to begin work and i'm at your disposal for any specific mission. So far i have only one question for Ms. Miller: owning an extra (skype) account is mandatory? Because my time is usually spent aboard my liner and i don't have one yet. Thank you and hope to meet you in space. Lopez out. I was very enthusiastic when i saw the destination, being relatively near to Omega Gamma, my birthplace. So i picked up immediately those VIP's (eight hundreds in number) from Hawaii. My route was a bit bigger than i expected and although i did not had an escort, the trip went without a hitch. At Freefort 5, i caught a few images for you. From there, i took 4045 crews. Now i'm on the way to Texas but i made a layover at Konstanz Station for the preparation of this report. I'll stay connected to hear if those vip's enjoyed flying aboard my OS&C|Riviera. A good day. This is an urgent message: a few minutes ago, in my way to Shetland with 4045 vacationers aboard my liner OS&C|Riviera, in Magellan system, near to California jump gate, I stumbled upon three Gallic bombers with call-signs: GRN|Piere.Martin, Remi.Gaillard & Punisher|FO-Dauphine. At first sight there were more concerned to take down a Reaver very heavy fighter, but as a precaution, i thought that is not a bad idea to go back in California. Now i'm docked at San Diego station and all vacationers are in safe. Try to avoid any travel through Magellan system for the next couple of hours. Lopez out. All they told me was only good words and as well ensure me that they will use our service in the future. Keep up the good work and if ever need a contract i will assign you one to suit you and your vessel. Collins out. RE: Orbital Spa and Cruise | Internal Communications - Connor - 02-22-2014 » SOURCE: My Office » COMM-ID: Joshua Wood, OS&C CSO » TARGET-ID: Melanie Tyler, Amelia Lopez » SUBJECT: Reports Ms. Tyler, I want to apologies for the late reply. I've been contacting the LPI, and Visa Versa about the recent Artifact smuggling incident that recently happened. Anyway. Your second matter caught my attention when i was reading though your message the other day. I have little experience with the Civilian Gunboat, The Condor, my self. I do know, however, the capabilities of it and on paper, it seems like an okay ship to use. I would prefer Gunboat class vessels only to be used when we are escorting several Liners or when escorting Cargo Transport ships. We don't want to look as though we are being over protective as this might scare of customers. Now, lets get to the point. I, as well, have very little experience on the "Defiant" Class gunboat. I have seen it in action once and that is it. When i read though your Biography for the first time, i saw that you was part of the Liberty Navy for a while. Do you have any experience in Maintaining and Commanding as well as Teaching crews on how to use this new Vessel? Another thing to bear in mind is that we will have many restrictions on this ship. For example, due to relations between the current house, we couldn't enter Rheinland or Kusari with them. We'd have to mainly fly around the house of Liberty with them and sometimes, if we get permission, Bretonia. Are they Economical? Is it worth us investing in them for a tiny advantage at the cost of only being able to use them in few Houses? And do we want to put people of because we are having to use Military Vessels to help aid us in our Escorts? As you should know, i am a very busy man with this new position as Chief Security Officer. I have allot of paper work to do. So, i will set a small assignment for you and for you only. What i want is, is a report on the "Defiant" Class gunboat. I want you to include everything you can about it, without going into Top Secret stuff. I want some reasoning behind this as well as Can you train our guards? Can you teach them that they need to know? If i get a detailed report on the "Defiant" Gunboat Class vessel, depending on what results i get and how the Board feel about this, there could be a small promotion for you and i will personally put you in charge of this small Project. Good luck Ms. Tyler Ms. Lopez This is where it somewhat gets sticky. I read though your latest report. This one to be precise: Amelia Lopez Wrote: In future, please try and avoid War Zones. I don't know if you know, but Gallia has declared war on Liberty and has invaded the System of Magellan. We DO NOT want to put Orbital Spar and Cruise Personal or Tourists into a Danger Zone. Stay out of there next time. Things could have gotten messed up very quickly and that wouldn't look very good on you as a Captain or Orbital Spar and Cruise as a Company. Are you and your crew okay? That's the important thing. Wood out. |
