@sindrom: we won t. it is not dev policy to reimburse players for loosing assets. it has never been and and it is unlikely that it will ever be done. if one is affected by change - so be it, tough luck.
it has happened to rogues in the past, corsairs, hackers, IMG etc. they all lost assets in the past and had to deal with it.

The models look nice. Like... assault rifles, but much bigger and flying.
The main fighting power in terms of versatility would be kept, as the Corvo is just really nice. Good reasoning to let Zoners keep versatile light Cruiser class ship because yes, they should not be at the mercy of everybody. Too many who hate Zoners in general exist.

Not sure whether I should be for this thread because I want Zoner caps to be nerfed, or if to go against it because by the sounds of things the Zoner official factions were not consulted enough.

Why is it not a dev policy?
This is real life time players are putting in the game. If that is your stance on the issue as a developer, I think we might as well give Zoners to Massdriver to model on. And leave the lore to the current active factions.

Show me the alleged communication here because nobody I'm speaking to has the slightest idea what this thing is at all.

Nice. I bought 2 Aquilons yesterday to serve as scanner and jumper ships.
Question: Jinx, when will these changes be implemented? If there is no exact date, could you give an estimate?

Because devs don't have the power to do anything about that. I'd ultimately come down to the admin team of each server to decide whether or not they'd want to reimburse their players for these assets. In case of Disco GC, it is still being discussed, but most probably we will start a thread where people would be given the option to trade in their zoner cap and get solid cash in return.
