I try to always carry a person commodity on my ships for this: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=82568 and in my opinion its too hard to get crew. WHat happened to the days when they were available on every planet? What? Did the planets suddenly run out of EVERY PERSON WILLING TO WORK ON A SPACESHIP?!

Aside from that, I use lil bits of cargo for rp where appropriate - my outcast has a cardamine onboard, my red hessian had a rhienbier, but they're not vital. However Ive also noticed crazy stuff like Planet New London having NO FOOD for sale! WTF?! Does everyone survive on the rain?! is it fekin NAMEK down there?!

I had a good selection of Rp cargo on my Renzu liner

Always. It adds character to your character.

Can't run a Flying Bar without alcohol, so I always carry cargo for RP purposes.

I have one character that you might consider an alcoholic, usually has several varieties and when I only have liberty ale on the character he bemoans the fact.

Have another that likes shiny objects, so it usually has any metals I can find, diamonds of all varieties etc.
