Which ID for a nomad infested character? - n00bl3t - 08-26-2008 Navy ID. I doubt you'd get Das Wilde considering they are mainly Rheinland-based. Which ID for a nomad infested character? - sovereign - 08-26-2008 The Wilde are more than "mainly" Rheinland based- contrary to popular belief, the Wild are not all the infested humans, but rather an organization made up of infested operatives working in Rheinland and the Omegas. Liberty, Kusari, Bretonia, the Outcasts, and possibly the Corsairs all have separate organizations with their own equivalent to a "chain of command" although the term means something very different from the human military usage of it. More of a creative leadership and an executional effectiveness than anything else. Since there is no ID for "infested human" (and there shouldn't, since that wouldn't be a role- although it would lean toward a few in particular) and currently no ID for the Liberty infested group, there are a few issues. Terrorist ID is the ace in the hole for this sort of stuff, with a few posts and PMs you can make sure that the Keepers and Wild are aware of your status, as well as relevant leaders in your ZoI with proper clearance (LPI might not be told anything more than 'really dangerous, capture and hand off to the first admiral you can', but the players should be aware of this so the various leaders can work out what their characters know). Terrorist ID is also a lot of work, granted. Pirate ID is a good 'meanwhile' type ID until you get yourself something more suitable, and depending on circumstance can be all that you need- since you can't realistically dock on a human base that is aware of your condition, the clause for demanding supplies might be more appropriate than you might realize at first glance. Barring that, snag an ID whose enemies and ZoI are as close to yours as possible- for Liberty, Order ID might work however silly it may seem- the enemy tree is right, you can snoop around Liberty without drawing too much lawyer attention, and New Haven will be your friend. In RP you might technically respawn from Manhattan where your colleagues have liberated you from high security and gotten you on a smuggling shuttle out to a new ship or some other ruse, but since you should be ruby red to the police and navy once they figure you out, game-respawn from New Haven and RP-respawn from Manhattan. Or Pittsburgh, or Rochester, or... etc. Hope that helps, and good luck! Which ID for a nomad infested character? - AceofSpades - 08-27-2008 Heya. I made a character like this a couple weeks ago. In fact I think it stemmed alot of these ideas heh. I made a ship tagged LNS and gave it a Liberty Navy ID and also a "nomad research" tag. LNS-Sky(nomad-research) I wrote RP story about nomad research. How nomads overtook ship, and crew is now awol. If you'd like to addon to my story, maybe be part of the fighter group that was with the LNS Sky, feel free to do so. By the way, I've kept a Navy ID and the Navy ship but have a cargo hold of nomad brains and some nomad turrets to make obvious my ship. I suggest the same for you if you'd like. Which ID for a nomad infested character? - MB52 - 08-27-2008 While I appreciate the offer, I assure you this particular infested character has been planned out for over 3 months now and has an important role in my primary story line. Which ID for a nomad infested character? - Walker - 08-27-2008 If the ThunderBay goes out of duty for this Nomad Thing... I'm against it - I need its firepower for an evil scheme of mine! Which ID for a nomad infested character? - MB52 - 08-27-2008 No she's out of duty for now but thats temporary while she's "lost in space" and the nomad runs around freely... And what evil schemes might this be? |
