tried flying into planet does not help , I come back the same, also the nomad gate denies access. i can fly under but can not access from under either . have killed billions of nomad fighters, no pick up there either . I am thinking i will have to go back to last save 10 unexplored systems ago.

Try ramming into the station with shields down. If it doesnt work, youll have to load an earlier save

If you're using single player, open the chat window (default key is Enter) and type Base Evora , that should put you on Evora Shipyard in Omicron-100, which is fairly close to Omicron Major and you can continue exploring from there.
