Special Operation

Report:
We meet with the Battleship Yamato, a Naval ship, whose Captain deflect to our side. Everything went after plan, captain Satsumo Schimizu was cooperative and followed all of our orders.

The group consisting of May Ling, Inubashiri Hida, Takahashi Aruga in his Transporter full with supplies for the Crew of the Yamato and more Blood Dragons Crew members to replace the missing Crew on the Yamato, and myself with the one of the "Guardian of Kyoto", the Haguro.

As captain Satsumo wanted it, we meet the Yamato in Kyushu at sector Charlie 2.
Aruga-san docked his transporter with the Yamato and the supplies were transferred onto the Battleship together with our Crew. It turned out that the battleship had a saboteur team onboard. Our Crew managed to take them out but we still suffered some casualties. The battleship was cleaned up and the rest of the crew manned the stations on the ship which where needed to move it.

We set course to Sigma 19 to the Freelancer base Newport, to overwrite the Naval Ship controls with our own code. After that was completed, we directly headed to Chugoku and the ship docked at Mito.

The engineers and researchers on the Shipyard try their best to decode the Naval Codes on the ship but they are having a hard time. It also turns out that the Battleship requires waste amount of supplies which we simply don't have access to. That means we can only run the ship with 10% of its capability until we find a solution for this problem.

The mission ended with the return of the Haguro to Kyoto.

Kohaku Hokama, out

Recon and Combat

November 13th, 821 A.S.
System:Kyushu
Gun Cams:Not available, but I have communication record.
Comments: I was intending to patrol the Kyushu system from Hokkaido Jump hole to New Tokyo jump hole and back. I encountered seemingly Bounty Hunter ship on my route, near the planet Kyushu. It didn't come closer than nine click to me. Then it started to run so it's pilot wasn't planning to exchange fire with my ship. I questioned it and got some informations while I intercepted the ship towards Nansei Research Complex. The ship itself was most likely a light fighter, judging from it's speed. It was faster than my Tachi. I lost the Bounty Hunter when I reached distance of twenty clicks to the base. I propably can't trust the informations I got, but if these are not misinformations.. we might have another problem to solve, aside from our current issues. I have a documentation of my quick conversation with the Bounty Hunter.

Quote:Me: Kon'nichiwa
BHG vessel: Ah, greetings
Me: Identify yourself.
BHG vessel: Bounty Hunter, heaving Baffin.
Me: *sighs* Who are you working for?
BHG vessel: The Veil
Me: Who are The Veil? Never heard about it..
*Few seconds of silence*
Me: *Coughs*
BHG vessel: Hm? Yes?
BHG vessel: Why do you ask lady, mmm?
BHG vessel: Or sir, hmh.
Me: Better question would be: Who are The Veil working for? Good quess.. I am a lady..
BHG vessel: Not for KNF, for sure. Yet.
BHG vessel: And not for Hogosha, though... Hehehe.. I miss old times as KTA leader.
Me: *She doesn't look surprised* Another organisation to oppose the Shogunate...
BHG vessel: Do not worry, I privately do not hunt Shogunate.
Me: We will see, and we will deal with you.
BHG vessel: Sayonara, then.

If it wasn't some stranger, then the former head of the Kusari Trade Association works for a new Bounty Hunter group. Quite weird I would say. That guy have most likely a big word in the new organisation. I returned to Ainu after my scanner wasn't picking up his ship.

Report: Patrol on Chugoku, Monut Fuji return to Mito

On the 28th I launched from Kyoto, as one of our large battle groups was returning from a strike on New Tokyo and they needed more escorts to assure the return of the Mt.Fuji , our flagship commanded by Daimyo Yuki Hasios-dono.

At first I've only met May Ling at Kyoto, since she had been recovered first from the battlefield. Soon word came that the Mt.Fuji had reached Mito, and we relaxed a little.

We met a pair of strange Order vessels, [n*o]-Sergi.Salgado and [n*o]-Jose.Ramirez , who at first I mistook for Corsairs or something. They claimed that some outcasts that had been keeping company of the battle group were wanted by the Order because of potential relation with nomad influence. They also claimed they were some sort of "new Order" and requested docking clearance at Kyoto. Due to suspicious story that they presented, and the lack of confirmation of Order Overwatch in the meantime, Yuki-dono decided that they would only be allowed refuge at Ryukyu for the time being.

[Image: yJJRYUo.png][Image: qTGQml6.png][Image: vuVVFIZ.png]
[Image: FVgSDNT.png][Image: rJ3u7Q4.png]

After the Order agents were escorted out, problems began to appear on the Mt.Fuji. The extensive damage on the hull was... crippling several systems on the ship, and the Mt.Fuji was hastily redirected to Mito once again.

Aurga-san was leading the operations abroad a repair ship, and instructed me and other personnel to assist in securing the Togo class vessel to the dockyard. However, as we were about to do that, several explosion disabled the engines and stabilizers of the Mt.Fuji, who started spinning dangerously inside the structure.
As fires started spreading out and the core generator began to fall to dangerous levels, we made efforts to allow the remaining crew to evacuate the ship, and bring Yuki-dono to safety.
[Image: Kbj78cX.png][Image: fZS0ldC.png]

Yuki-dono and others managed to escape in pods, as the Mt.Fuji was struck by more explosions form the inside, and the core leaked energy, until it ran cold, according to the others at the scene.

Yuki-dono was taken to the infirmary with grave wounds and burns, and for some hours her situation was critical.

Another Order vessel, this time a Battleship, appeared very near Mito, having completely eluded our defenses with a Cloaking Device. The ANC.001-"Phoenix" expressed interest on the status of the Battleship, and engaged in some conversation with Aruga-san, before disappearing again.

[Image: jjSerHt.png][Image: RbD6431.png]

Aruga-san sent me to Kyoto to bring Mai-san, head engineer of Mito, to initiate the recovery operations, as the husk of the Mt.Fuji was secured on the dockyard.

[Image: QHFxuKp.png][Image: SzVDcMJ.png][Image: aoWfk0y.png]
Both of them were infuriated at the damage of the ship, and the last I've heard was that it was unlikely to have her in working condition soon enough. The chance of having lost our flagship on our docks is very high, I'm afraid.
[Image: qYuVodT.png][Image: z4ZGcQV.png]

My communication logs were hampered by the energy leaks from the Mt.Fuji, but managed to recover some photos. Hopefully Aruga-san or Mai-san may shed some light on the current situation.

Inubashiri Hida, sigining off.

Comments: Hatamoto Takahashi Aruga reporting on the scouting mission I preformed inTau-23 earlier today, what I have found is very very interesting... though you may read the transcript yourselves. I have little to comment on the matter at this time... Hatamoto Takahashi Aruga out.

Comments: Hatamoto Takahashi Aruga reporting, I going on a short recon run though New Tokyo when I spotted something new next to Narita, this turned out to be a trade lane under construction so thinking this was something we could use I followed it, it turned out that it lead to a new jumpgate leading to the Hiroshima. I took a few images and marked it's location before returning back to the nearest friendly base at top speed. I think that the baka are up to something. Hatamoto Takahashi Aruga out.

They build a Jumpgate in the Chiba Field? The region with the most Dragons activity? They must be really up to something.
We only found the Gate to Hiroshima so far but a system with only Gate access is very unlikely. I want that everyone searches for another entry to that system and report it immediately if found.

I also promote you to a Roju, Aruga and grant you permission for your own Cruiser. Wear this rank with pride and lead our Dragon troops to victory

Shogun of the Blood Dragons,

Comm ID: May Ling
Receiver ID: Blood Dragon Reporting Facility
Subject: Recon, Coalition scout.

Hello,

Well.. While I was having a look on the sigmas on my untagged fighter, and also checking the Freeport in Sigma-13, I ran past this Coalitioner, and it was well weird to see one of their scouts this far out from the omegas. Yet he sated that he was just mapping kusari, as the Gallic invasion and the Puppet state of Kusari were matters of importance to the Coalition, so I gave him a hand making his way while trying to disguise myself as a freelancer. I showed him the way into Honshu.

Here's the full registrations from the Black Box:

That would be all.

Comments: Just a peaceful routinary recon route. I recently outfitted a Katana, a ship on which I have no experience, and I've been practicing on it, but my Nodachi calls me and I interrupt my activities for these quick patrols, the void calms my soul after a tiresome training day.

Subject: Core attack in Tohoku.

May Ling here,

Immediately after hearing the alarm that the core was closing in Tohoku, in vicinity of our space, I along with Mt.Kita set out to provide assistance, to our order ally and to aid our battleship, Mt.Fuji.

The core forces consisted of serveral fighter craft and a bomber, backed by a gunboat. When we got there the ships had just began attacking our order friend, Order|The.Blade.Itself so I went in at once and found myself dueling one of their fighters Core|Lancer-1 resulting in it's destruction. right afterwards I assisted the order fighter into taking down the target Core|Jaeger-1 with a cruise disruptor which turned fatal for him. :::

Right after that, a wing of [KNF] strike craft followed by a backup Battlecruiser, intervented into our fight. Outnumbered we lost the fight and our ships were destroyed. Were it not for the [KNF]'s intervention, we would've had a good winning chance against the core ships.

That would be all, May Ling out.

Ship: BD|Suehiro.Maruo

System: Tau 29

Gun Cams: None taken.

Comments: After some boring patrols through the same last circuit without meeting any worthy foe and really few civilians I finally got myself a chance of an honorable fight. For a time I've been determined to find and destroy the Usurpers who where couped by Kishiro. Word says that they are stuck somewhere in the surroundings of Bretonia, ever since the last war, and I think the chance is ripe to finish them off. Let's do not ever forget. Let's do not ever forgive.

I finally found one lonely gunboat in Tau 29, {343}IKS.Tomozoru, the pilot claimed that I was in his territory. I challenged him to a duel and started firing my torpedoes at him, dodgin his solarises as fast as I could. Soon a second pilot came, this one flying a ship called /Z/-"Silence". I cannot confirm that he was a Ronin too but he did offer the gunboat Ronin help. Which I must admit he honorably refused. Then a third came by, /Z/-"Curse". By the time reinforcements came in the shape of BD|May.Ling, it was too late. My bomber had been heavily damaged and all she could do was tractor my pod and get me out of there without getting captured. A clean death would have been more honorable, I shall whip myself to discipline for a fortnight. I attach the log of the mission.

Code:
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: Konichiwa
BD|May.Ling: Where do you think youre going, huh?
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: I made it farther than ever today. I'm at Freeport 6.
BD|May.Ling: That's not what I meant.. What I mean is.. I'm not leaving you all by yourself.
BD|May.Ling: Heeey, we're Dragons.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: *clashes fists amicably*
BD|May.Ling: At easy though.. What are you looking for?
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: I was actually trying to catch some so called "Exile" vessel.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: As if they knew what "Exile" means anyways...
BD|May.Ling: Ahh the Exiles. The so called "Ronins"
BD|May.Ling: You know what Ronin means?
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: A masterless Samurai
BD|May.Ling: Yes, a masterless warrior.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: But they do have a master... The usurper...
BD|May.Ling: I was a ronin once, a so called "masterless warrior"
BD|May.Ling: Not an exile, but as you would call it a freelancer.
BD|May.Ling: I originate from the Coalition, as you see.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: What drove you to our Ancient House?
BD|May.Ling: Boredom.. well family, tradition..

*************************

{343}IKS.Tomozoru: Sakuma: Look what we got here.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: Konichiwa
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: *spits*
{343}IKS.Tomozoru: Sakuma: You take that back immediately.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: I take no orders from Usurpers
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: Where did you even come from.... Ronin?
{343}IKS.Tomozoru: Sakuma: Why do you violate our space, foe?
{343}IKS.Tomozoru: Sakuma: You take that back. I am a Samurai, as much as you are.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: You are a sellsword, that's what you are, dog!
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: Prepare yourself! To arms!

***************************

/Z/-"Silence": Interesting.
/Z/-"Silence": Do you need support 343rd?
{343}IKS.Tomozoru: Not at the moment
/Z/-"Silence": Understood.
/Z/-"Curse": Oh, this looks a bit ugly.
BD|Suehiro.Maruo: Konichiwa May.Ling-san!
/Z/-"Silence": Hm?
BD|May.Ling: Oh hey hey.
BD|May.Ling: look we cant take that thing
/Z/-"Silence": Curse.
/Z/-"Curse": Hai.
