I'm going into guards systems to fix the reps sometimes because opposing factions end up being green to me there. They shouldn't be easy to get. Guards tags in upcoming mod--IMPORTANT! - mjolnir - 09-05-2008 The way I understand it: Guard factions have some positive empathy with the original faction (have to). So if the original faction reputation goes up (by bribe OR mission) the Guard one will go up as well. No way to make bribes not affect guard reputation when they need to affect the original. ----------------------- Only possibility I can see is lowering the emphathy value - so that you need more missions and/or bribes to get guard white (or guard tag). I do see a problem here because getting a guard tag now is a good 5+ hours work (~20 missions + flying around lowering the other reputations that got max green in the process). |
