It's not that difficult, most of them act like thugs and hoodlums anyway. RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Carlos De La Cruz - 12-08-2014 I've already been flying Corsair and BHG GB. Now I'm looking for something different. That why I've asked that question. Thank you for all answers. And that's right I'm looking for a lawfull ID. RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Fluffyball - 12-08-2014 (12-08-2014, 03:21 AM)Carlos De La Cruz Wrote: OK. I get it now.. But what about independent systems and borderworlds.. I know that some of them are "governed" by unlawfulls, whom generally don't like lawfulls..So it seems it doesn't matter if they don't like me 'normally' or because I've broken their law..they're breaking my house laws everyday..You should be VERY careful with certain areas, because sometimes Border Worlds in game doesn't mean Border Worlds by ruleset (finest example here is Nagano, which is KUSARI territory, despite card). This is also for some ID an advantage, because Blood Dragon ID says "Kusari Territory + 1 border system", so Nagano being Kusari extends their ZOI a bit (previously Tau 37 not being their ZOI now is their ZOI, because there's Nagano-Tau 37 connection, for example). Outcast ZOI is also pretty wide IMO, with no Bretonian Lawfuls rephacked much, what makes it kind of versalite ID for Sirius-wide piracy. As for Core ID, there were some disagreements on that, but they are so far the only ID that allows claiming bounties outside their ZOI, while they obviously CANNOT assault The Order (and probably LSF as well) or demand alien-origin cargo outside Omicrons and Omegas. AFAIK, there's no such info in the Core ID infocard about claiming bounties inside their ZOI (once again, ask Lyth about that, he's The Core Guildmaster after all). TL;DR about the Core: They are BHG+ with some additional lines applicable for Omicrons and Omegas only - outside them, they act as normal BHG at the moment. RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Gypsie Skripto - 12-08-2014 I'd say Junker, coz even if you don't get to DO ALL THE THINGS everywhere, you get to do them all someplace. RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Carlos De La Cruz - 12-08-2014 All right. So for pirate hunting Core seems the best: they have battlecruiser, can fly nearly everywhere...But what if I have a bounty for someone in house space, ie. Liberty and go there with BHG Cruiser? Or when I'm escorting traders and be going through house space? Can I even escort traders with Capship? (yes, I know that many pirates use bombers :-) ) RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Fluffyball - 12-08-2014 (12-08-2014, 04:26 PM)Carlos De La Cruz Wrote: All right. (yes, I know that many pirates use bombers :-) )Bounty Hunter ID cannot have caps bigger than Gunboat - while Core ID can. Note that most of the Houses forbids cruisers and battleships in their space (except for invitations). Gunboat is the biggest (military) ship you can bring into House Space. You should be also aware about certain house laws. e.g. It is illegal to possess The Order tech inside Liberty Space. AFAIK, Adapted Nomad tech is also out of question. (yes, I know that many pirates use bombers :-) ) Core ID explicitly limits the use of cruisers and battleships: Core ID Wrote:Cannot bring Cruisers or Battleships into any system containing a Jump Gate with the exception of Sigma-19, Sigma-17 and the Omicrons. RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Zed26 - 12-08-2014 I was also going to expand on a point similar to Corundum's, because there's a lot of misinformation in this thread that you need to be aware of. The BHG Core ID means that, with the exception of Sigma-19, Sigma-17, and the Omicrons, you can't fly a Cruiser/Battlecruiser/Battleship into a system with a Jump Gate at all, so most house space is off-limits. It doesn't matter if you're just flying and not attacking, were invited, pursuing a bounty, escorting a transport, etc. - you could get sanctioned and potentially lose your guns/armor/credits/ship. If you need to hunt or escort in house space, switch to a smaller ship class (though the Omicrons could always use more activity). The current rules and restrictions are mostly designed to prevent capital ships from going everywhere, attacking everything, and houses rarely appreciate capital ships in their space, even from allies. The most freedom and versatility in chasing pirates is still as a Bounty Hunter/board registered Freelancer in a gunboat or bomber. RE: Which ID grants more freedom? - Hannibal - 12-08-2014 the largest ZOI that a lawful ID can have(one that has access to caps too) is the LN ID,it can " apply " the " law " in 2 houses (Liberty,Bretonia) , can be cocky in Kusari (and sometimes start some discussions, aka forum posts) drink the famous beer that you can only find in Rhineland and then go be a flying cow(a nomad hybrid one, mind you ! ) in O-99 and none will do a damn thing about it
