RE: Brewing Conflict - Remnant - 04-19-2015

Jessica raises a brow. "Really? Do you really think that she'd be happy to come out and talk to you again after that? You really have some weird sense of how things work if that's what you're getting at. She gets back to the Bell, as a complete mess. Almost out of air, forced to use a re-breather for her trip back, knowing full well that wherever she was talking with you, there were tons of marines outside if she made one wrong move. Be that your intention or not, that's what she felt like. Trapped.

You don't do that to someone. ESPECIALLY if you'd like to consider her a friend. If she wouldn't have responded and came to you if you called, maybe you should take that as a hint Geoff." Reaching down quickly, pulling out a gun from a holster. Pointing it at him for a few seconds before flinging it behind her.

"Just because I can't kill you, don't think that guns are being lowered from the back of your head. Not being able to kill you only added more. Nobody said that I couldn't deal with you in some other way. The Neural Net is for discussions. Breaking into someones vessel while in space, dragging her over to talk with you, and treating her to a little food in an attempt to make up is more creepy than anything."

"I- I- have a weird sense of doing... everything. But fine... Theres always an aim behind something. Should it be even a chat or a little combat procedure. Stone was one i'm careful about, the Deaddrop was activated by mistake, should i of known the EMP would of caused something to fuse the finder circuit, i wouldn't of been making a Pizza and playing a few games while the ship was being flown towards the Liner."

Taking a bigger puff of the cigarette, he breaths the smoke away from Jess. "Instead of relaying her position to me, it relayed my position to her, would i have taken precaution and check the bomber before bringing it aboard, i would of had the slight knowledge that it was her if i would of found an older device under... Here."

He quickly walks around behind the bomber, under one of its rear engines, picking off an device, fried and burnt to a crisp. "That's almost a year old, looks like burnt toast. Sixth model i believe. Until i checked out the ship myself in the hanger. When we found it, we quickly tried to unlock the door before shots we're being fired out." He throws the burnt device onto the ground.

He then sits on the floor, under the wing of the Roc, crossing his legs and continuing to smoke. "Yeah, i guess a tactical strategy to calm someone wasn't necessary, but I've never actually been in a situation where I've literally been sho- There was almost one with Koch, but no, not when shes panicking and in a frenzy. I guess i'm not good with the social thing. I guess that's why i love it in Lost."

"Stone being felt like she was trapped, i understand the feeling, you know what its like being dragged into the Buro interrogation room, being injected with god knows what, and being battered before they try to make you forget? Its pretty unnerving, especially when you overhear them considering to kill you off. And then we have Sprauge... That wasn't nice, that was a hell pit with a cage of barbed wire covering it... If someone wasn't watching my back, i guess i could of bit the dust."

"But about those Guns even though there are so many, i know which one is going to pull the trigger." He looks at the gun behind her. "I mean, if you did shoot me, i might of gone back with serious injuries, but enough to recover from for a few weeks." Seeming sure about that statement. He extinguishes the cigarette in his cybernetic hand. "But if you're going to shout at me how to socialize and to interact with people normally, i might as well leave right now and take it as advice and find a social tutor that can also teach me how to ask for a dance at a prom."

Rolling her eyes slightly. "You really are far gone, aren't you. Listen. I don't really give a damn what you do, or how you work. When it comes to you, there's only one thing which you could do to set me off. Congratulations. You found it. I'm going to make my point. You seem to understand that she might have felt trapped then, but obviously whatever you tried didn't fix the issue. She was a mess when she got back home."

Standing directly in front of Geoff, reaching into her pocket. Pulling out something, holding her hand out for him to take it.

"You're lucky you're not all flesh. It's a pain to take things into account I don't know the details of."

RE: Brewing Conflict - Geoffacake - 04-20-2015

"Eh~ Flesh or metal, sometimes i don't even know if i am a machine." He slowly leans forward a bit to reach for the object, taking it slowly with caution, and resting back against the ship again. "Huh~ I have no idea what this is..."

RE: Brewing Conflict - Remnant - 04-20-2015

"Selective procedure. Not perfect, not even close, but it's enough for me to be happy." The object was rather smooth, while seeming like a tough stone, it was curved into a different shape. Seeming to have some odd etchings into the side.

The object quickly begins to dissolve, the 'dust' from the object sticking to his hand unless he brushed it off. "You've been 'punished' accordingly. Don't go after her again. Next time i'll be a little more drastic."

Turning, beginning to walk away. Pausing for a moment to laugh quietly, turning to look at his form. He was so much bigger than her.. Whatever. Suppose that didn't really matter at this point.

RE: Brewing Conflict - Geoffacake - 04-20-2015

Rolling some of the 'dust' between his finger and thumb, he looks at the dissolved specs. "Okay~ Slightly confused to what just turned to dust in my hand and why it did that." Smoking another segment of his cigarette, he brings his eyes back upto Jess. "Only a guess... But i feel as if Stone is being over-watched by a particular group if it comes to this. Fine, as you ask. No more." He gets up, moving away from the Roc, and finishes off his cigarette, extinguishing it on his metal hand.

RE: Brewing Conflict - Remnant - 04-20-2015

"Good. At least you're somewhat reasonable. I wish your memory luck. It won't eliminate the memories of her. Perhaps mess up and distort them a little though. Unless it does more, although I hope that's not the case."

Letting out a quiet breath. Approaching the Roc, looking at it carefully. "Guess I might as well get this thing repaired too.. " Tracing a hand over the hull gently.

RE: Brewing Conflict - Geoffacake - 04-21-2015

He gives a weak smirk. "I don't think my augments are going to like a neural alteration." He slowly gets up from the floor and slowly moves away from then Roc. "What about now? I suppose its logical I don't remember this incident." He places an hazardous environment mask over his entire head.
"If so, please tell me I could wake up felling I had 15 bottles of Gin, only thinking I had the most amazing hangover."

RE: Brewing Conflict - Remnant - 04-22-2015

"Oh don't worry. The neural implants will be fine with it, stuff like this only targets organics. Mechanics shouldn't be able to tell that anything had changed whatsoever. You'll probably remember this meeting too, i'm not going to destroy you. Yet at least."

Hopping onto the Rocs wing. "Nice having this conversation with you. Byebye." The engines beginning to come online

RE: Brewing Conflict - Geoffacake - 04-23-2015

He gives a heavy sigh of relief and pulling another cigarette out of his pocket, his hands are shaking gently. "Stay alive, You've got to keep that promise..." he again lights the cigarette taking in a large portion of the roll. "Rampancy, it hits us all in the end..." He walks back to the liner, the bridge closing in behind him, and the air-lock sealing. As he walks through the Liner, he returns to his private quarters, no-one else is around in the main room. He slouches down on one of the couches, smoking the rest of the cigarette. Soon without even the slightest movement from Enfield, a glowing hand is placed on his shoulder calming him greatly. "Feeling nervous again?" "I'd expect you'd tap in my neural implants and hear for yourself." "No. I respect your privacy as much as you do with mine... Just make sure you cut back on those, at least its not 5 a day... You've been putting those nanites hard at work at keeping your lungs in top conditio-" He extinguishes his cigarette in an untouched ashtray on the table, and pulls down 'Zeal' gently onto the couch seat beside him, giving her blue hologram and huge hug. "Shhh~ i know... Just, relax and stop thinking... for a moment."
