The Order Overwatch General Assembly gathered up to discuss ramifications and actions to be undertaken in aftermatch of the NEMP attack against Fulda Border Station in Frankfurt system. The Order refuses to believe that considerably outgunned Gas Miner's Guild would attack House of Rheinland first, with no evidence in sight but ramblings of unidentified provocateurs on the Sirian neural net. The Order Overwatch condemns Rheinland's further violations of the Borhman treaty, first deploying capital assets to Omega 7, now bringing its behemoths into Sigma 15 star system. The Admiralty is outraged at the unprovoked attack by the Core upon the Guild, citing Guildmistress Loyola's declaration of war as yet another example of Core's crimes against humanity.

Use of Nuclear ElectroMagnetic Pulse weaponry against major artery of the Sirian trade, escalating tensions across entire Sirius sector is against The Order's standing mission of protecting humanity against threats both external and internal. We denounce unbased right-wing calls for war against the Guild. Grand Admiral Golanski ordered mobilization along Sigma-Omicron constellations boundaries in preparation for intervention. Admiral himself witholded any comments on ongoing operations or what in fact will be mission statement of The Order corps in Sigmas.

Fulda Report

The Order had concluded its investigation concerning Fulda terrorist attack. By the direct command of The Order Overwatch, its results are going to be published Sirius-wide.

1. The Order ran background checks on names provided by anonymous GMG source within organization that were involved with the initial strike as identified by GMG’s own paramilitary. Merely few of the perpetrators belonged to actual para-military. Studies of 80 years war prove that successful strategy of Guild employed during this armed conflict did not engaged when opportunity arises, instead waiting for when it had maximum effect. The assailants also did not withdrawn into the Cloud, instead engaging in menial skirmishes with The Order Inquisition’s operatives in Frankfurt.

5. During skirmish with the GMG imposters, The Order had taken prisoners and shipped them to nearest Order unit for interrogation. The suspects all notably went berserk and attacked The Order marines on station attempting decontamination procedure prior to apprehension of the podded prisoner. All subjects were terminated on camera after taking inhuman amounts of laser fire to unprotected bodies. Post-mortem examination tested positive for Nomad incubi presence within neural system of the deceased. One Order marine was hospitalized with broken arm in the aftermath. 6. Core took the bait. Too convenient and too fast even for their usual allies within Rheinland Buro. The Order is in possession of evidence that Enma Loyola, the current Guildmistress of the Core is at very least a willing Nomad agent, or perhaps infested. The Order Intelligence leans towards the former, until we can access Loyola’s body to verify an infestation.

I am Benito Contari, current head of the Contari family and member of the current Council leading Malta, hence the name National Council. The people currently holding positions are myself, Cristina Martelli of the Martelli family, Ezio Aquila of the Aquila family and the venerable young Dominica Li Vecchi. With the removal of said individual Enma Loyola from the Council's ranks and the uncovering of the virulent undermining of our society, all but the latter voted in favour of contacting you.

You wish for an explanation for how it was even possible for an individual like Loyola to reach a position like she had, but I am afraid much of what I can provide — what anyone can provide in that regard — will not be satisfactory, for any of us. It is probably in the nature of the Nomads to want to control, and their ways are subtle. After the Cross lost catastrophic losses in their path towards a grand crusade in the name of the aliens, an assortment of less ill-tempered individuals were able to reign them in and eventually contain the virulence of their violent ideology. We suspect that most of the damage that occurred was enabled by them, as welcoming as they have been to the alien threat. I cannot stress enough the impact that the Cross had on the planet. I would like to assure you that the threat of infection within our ranks is gone with Loyola, but one can never be sure — they are too subtle, too clever, even with the protective measures in place around Council installations, scans and arbitary blood testing.

To get back to the topic of Loyola, however, we found her body one day. Deceased. It was brought in for autopsy but we suspect the team handling the corpse was compromised and the body went missing soon after. All involved parties were contained and silenced. We still presume Loyola dead, though it might have been a ploy. Needless to say, something like this may never be allowed to happen again.

To summarize, The Order officially blames the dangerous Nomad infested terror cell known as Das Wilde and the Core under manipulation of Enma Loyola for escalating tensions in the Sigma sector. Admiralty officially pleads to the Kusari and Rheinland authorities to take a step back towards status quo, despite misunderstandings and hostilities the two may have with The Order.

Those are the dark days for Sirius when our enemy strikes in the open.

The Order had suffered an orbital bombardment twice in its history, seeing Nomads lay waste to Toledo at two separate occasions in 800 A.S. and closing days of 818 A.S. which obliterated the entire surface of the world, rendering it hostile to any and all life. Every soldier and operative under Order flag has been training for the day to come, when there was a need to shield inhabited planets of the colonies from the alien slaughter. We thought that the day had finally come but the attack came not from the alien scum but a disaster made by human hands. Special task force within Gallic Royal Navy had initiated the endgame contingency should the war end not in the Crown’s favor. Multitude of atmospheric capable Triumph-class destroyers armed with ‘Werwolf’ emitter descended into atmospheres of New London and Leeds to scour clean surface of these worlds. While assault on New London has been repelled, there is no hope in sight for Leeds with total combined casualties of combatants and civilian population alike is to be as high as one billion souls.

It is yet another confirmation for now furious proponents of unrestricted interventionism who call for greater policing of Sirius political affairs within the scope of possibility for The Order’s agenture and armed forces. This is in stark contrast to supporters of isolationism who claimed that no action was required in past House-versus-House conflicts and that The Order should solely focus on maintaining its positions in Omicrons against the Core and Nomads, with some extremists within the block suggesting to abandon resistance against any human enemy altogether. The Order Overwatch and its predecessor organizations Primary Fleet and Black Squadron mainly preached for moderation and had refused to take sides within Tau War 814-818, Hudson War 817-818, Kusari Civil War 819-825 and Gallic War of Conquest that is still ongoing. The only exception happened during mass murder of Kishiro and GMG personnel at Saigon and illegal annexation of Sigma systems by Rheinland Federal Republic which brought Order forces to bear to protect lifeline of Sirius economy that are GMG’s fuel mining operations.

The Order Overwatch General Assembly conveyed on topic of further course of action and long term policy of The Order as a whole to prevent the armageddon of Leeds from ever happening again. In other news, Order administered evacuation effort is underway. OLV Jupiter and contracted group of allies and supporters of The Order begun shipping refugees off-world amidst news that Bretonian authorities face crisis of every critical commodity including food. It was decided to heavily modify Mastodon class super transport for the job with additional life support systems. The timeless design of Liberty origin has been built around traveling and colonizing distant worlds prior to the advent of jumpgate technology, making it best suited for the task at hand. Due to confidentiality reasons, names and ship designations of non-Order ships assisting in the operation will not be made public. OCV Horus was also reported to be in the area of operations, jumping out last remaining Order operatives as well families of enlisted personnel still left on the planet.

Reports indicate that first wave of refugees had already made it planetfall, combining ten thousand people with allegedly twenty thousand already underway. To those who made it to safety, The Order is distributing food, clean water and providing shelter to everyone who made it so far to Omicrons.

Good afternoon, Sirian people, this is the Order Protectorate News Service and correspondent Kieran Rice with fresh news from the edge of Sirius. Twelve hours ago we finally received a transmission from the Order Overwatch, which started operation "Anubis" - an ambitious project with the intention to stop the Nomad spread throughout the sector. After weeks of tense silence, radars on the surface of Akabat noticed the majority of our battlegroup returning home. All the brave men and women are saying only one thing - the operation was a huge success.

Until the very last moment, we didn't know what was going on in the Omicron Zeta and on the other side of the unstable wormhole on the planet's Saipan orbit, but Miles Drake, major of the Primary Fleet agreed to share some information with us and our viewers:

"This operation was an essential move for all of us since last year when our pilots together with Crayterians managed to purge the Tau-117 system, also known as “Drake” to some, from pro-Nomad forces and the Nomads themselves. The pressure of the Nomads increased these recent months, so we had no choice but to find the source of their spread. Without going into too much detail, I can surely say we destroyed the entire nomad lair - a massive semi-organic structure that we presume serves as a kind of moving hive. The structure was hidden inside a nebula of unknown nature, possibly artificial, and electromagnetic interferences made the object unable to be detected by any of our long range scopes.

Victory was a matter of mankind's survival as a species, so we have done everything possible to destroy every single Nomad in our vicinity. Unfortunately, our losses are significant as well - around 40% of our battlegroup is temporarily out of action due to damage and losses, capital ships are damaged and their re-deployment might require some time as repairs are underway. After the broadcast, I'd like to ask you all to join us in honoring our fallen soldiers with a minute of silence"

Operative Starfire is today a Commodore in The Order and he was responsible for the success.

“You must understand The Order puts all efforts on the desk to prevent any further tragic events which are horrible. Decades ago so many people have been lost, so we established international collaboration. House locals, different organisations are helping us to oversee events inside and from many points of view. Without their support, we couldn’t initiate any operation, including “Anubis” that was important to stop the Nomads. Real truth is they don’t much care what we want to do, who we used to be, our desires, or striving for the best, so they are looking for nothing but our extinction. But if they thought it’s going to be easy, I have bad news for them - the Nomads mess with a goddamn wrong race”.

As you well know, The Order was founded a long time ago as the shield of Humanity from the alien threat we call the Nomads, and they never betrayed their main goals. Thus they keep fighting for us and our safety. So let's respect their courage, determination, and congratulate them on their victory.

Broadcast 14. Major offensive on Freeport 11!

"Nomads" approaching Freeport

Good day, Omicron citizens, Outworlders, and everyone who can listen to our Order Protectorate News Service frequency. I am correspondent Kieran Rice with the news from Freeport Eleven. Several days ago Freeport and the nearby areas have been subjected to yet another major Nomad incursion including their largest life forms to date. An hour before Nomads main force mounted their offensive, Battleship Nekhbet sent the distress message all over Omicron Delta and raised relief based on Taphanhes Station together with Battleship Apophis. First non-Order assets to arrive on the scene, Corsairs named Detterence provided invaluable assistance in deploying perimeter around the Freeport. Later, Battleship Neferhotep and several squadrons arrived to reinforce against the incoming menace. After hours of intense combat, all Nomads have been pushed out of Freeport Eleven due to combined effort of Order, Deterrence, and even occasional Coalition vessel.

But were they really Nomads as we know them? Eyewitnesses and combatants told us they fought creatures those have never been seen and cataloged before. Enormous and immensely powerful for their size, new Nomad forms could inflict major damage to Corsairs who aren't as honed to stand against them, unlike The Order who faces such horrors on daily basis. Even Coalition and Order forces took casualties, but in the end, Freeport Eleven inhabitants and the station itself are intact. We asked Nekhbet's officer several questions in regards to the recent events in Omicron Delta:

"Agent Calavis, what is The Order's stance now? What should expect soon from The Overwatch and how will it impact outworlders?"

"Good afternoon, mister Rice and our listeners. After the battle, Commodore Storgen had ordered all local forces to raise alert state and mobilize to repel any sign of external menace on sight no matter how small; This means system-wide quarantine, increased patrols, and higher scrutiny towards potentially suspicious vessels in our shared space. We all are concerned of what happened before, but we are confident to meet the challenge when it is necessary. Even giant super-dreadnoughts or whatever they throw at us."

"Thank you, but what or who have we met in your opinion?"
"I will be honest - I don't know, this is a question best aimed towards our scientist corps. Those vessels are something that cannot be underestimated, especially in large-scale engagement like you could see now. They are hyper-lethal for civilians and generally any not well-prepared combat vessel. We strongly recommend avoiding them and contacting us as soon as possible."

"And last question. What is your opinion about the latest rumors about potential changes within Order leadership? Is it true Commodore Storgen may become new Order's leader?"

"I will assure you here and now, The Order's leader is Grand Admiral Golanski and nobody can change it without an official announcement. We advise you to cease false rumors which can destabilize The Order's rank and file. Spreading rumors is particularly unacceptable during periods of high-alert, that's all that I can say".

For now, Freeport Eleven's safety is guaranteed, but the next attack is only a matter of time. However, The Order is prepared to protect mankind until the very end and we at the Order Protectorate News Service will sincerely cheer for them.
