Perhaps I should have posted this in the new shiny administrator/moderation subforum, but I thought a rules discussion would be best first. (I'm not too sure how that subforum works either.)

Any word on this continuing trend?

Would've quoted, but I'm on my phone and can't be arsed.

Well, I'm on my PC now and can, in fact, quote.

Go away both of you. Vanish.

Interestingly enough, gravedigging a thread is neither explicitly nor implicitly in violation of the stated forum rules, which means we would be operating inside the "common law" area of Discovery, so to speak.
We would then have to question why a prohibition against gravedigging exists inside of Internet culture.
But frankly,

So let's just let it be.

.84 was the golden age of Discovery and you know it. We can only hope to touch that golden brilliance once more.

Well, since we just had a revision of rules and all, it does bear review. (Especially since the motivation seems to be less work/more efficiency.)

Previous precedent doesn't seem to be that good an argument for a subforum in which primarily nonsense is posted amongst the new posts anyway and +1 doesn't count.

It's Flood.

If you're annoyed and it's not against the rules, don't click on it. It's like 200% optional to the game.

I've erected this post for some clarification. It's been some time.

Maybe Hannibal can shed some light since he seems to search through several arcane posts in the subforums no-one cares about?
