It has been a long time, but here is my latest report. Earlier today I went to Hiroshima to retrieve the KDS-Fukuoka from the Kure Shipyards, after completing its weaponry overhaul. I then took the Fukuoka on a patrol down the lanes in Hiroshima and found 2 Zoner Mobile Colony Ships [x] [x]. They claimed to be running sorties against the local pirates as a method to procure funds for their research and other supplies. However, since the Nephilim is classed as a battleship it is not permitted within the borders of the Kusari Republic without first procuring a licence from the Naval Forces High Command. I fined [x] [x] both zoners and escorted them to the Ireshara Refinery in Okinawa, the closest edge of space claimed by the republic. I'm told both vessels have now applied for a licence to transit Kusari.

Next I found a smuggler carrying slaves through Shikoku, so I waited for them outside the New Tokyo end of the jump gate. Upon confronting them about the slaves, they dumped them into space and shot them, in a despicable display of cold-blooded murder. On top of this they then refused to admit their crimes, and claimed the had no funds left to pay a fine. I then escorted them back to Shikoku and out into Kepler, all while they insulted me and claimed to be a lowly trader. I will add them to the Kusari Criminal Codex after submitting this report.

That concludes this report, several other traders were scanned and watched over during their transit, as well as a few pirates shot down and now awaiting their trial.

Today I once again took the KDS-Fukuoka for a patrol, and I found myself with plenty to do. First, using TLAGSNET, I found a smuggler by the name of Gunner_More, holding Black Market Mutinitions. They claimed to have a licence, but revealed that it was for Liberty and had assumed that it would let them carry such goods throguh Kusari too. While explaining that this was not the case, there was a distress call put out system-wide, saying that there where Blood Dragons by the Osaka Ruins. Feeling a need to quickly finish the encounter with the smuggler, I told them to return to Liberty and bring something else that was allowed within the Laws of the Kusari Republic. Heading down the lanes, I found a Blood Dragon Cruiser, and a freelance armoured transport. The cruiser refused to power down and submit to an arrest, so I ordered the gunners to open fire.

The Fukuoka took an early beating, but the Dragon had to dissapear due to problems with resident Ionic Energy, no doubt a sign of the inferior craftsmanship compared to Kishiro and Samura these terrorists are reliant on. I used this time to quickly get some repairs from Akita Border Station. Then, I returned to Osaka and re-engaged the Dragon Cruiser. This time, the Fukuoka performed admirably, shutting down the Dragon Cruiser in no time. However, the nearby Freelancer, who was a Dragon-Sympathizer or a Blood Dragon themselves tractored in most of the ejected crew. The "freelancer" aslo fired off cruise disruptors at the Fukuoka several times.

While getting repairs at Akita I came across the Smuggler from earlier, who according to TLAGSNET, was still holding the Black Market Mutinitions, so I will be adding both freelancers to the Kusari Criminal Register. Unfortunately, I have no scans nor TLAGSNET details of the freelancer "Argo", so that could make it harder for any further investigations.

Konbannwa, today I once again took the KDS-Fukuoka out for patrol, and it turned out to be a good decision. After watching a Naval Officer shoot down a Blood Dragon threatening Yokohama shipyard, I received a TLAGSNET report of an Outcast Dreadnought passing through the lanes in Kyushu. I rushed to intercept them, assisted by the Navy Officer, who had switched to a bomber to better damage the capital ship. We got the the jumpgate just after they did, and the captain immediately started to cloak. We were unable to stop them, and they dissapeared, threatening to attack Planet New Tokyo itself. However, they never did, and instead after some time, resurfaced near Shinjuku Station, where the station defenses and a local patrol managed to chase them off as I brought the KDS-Fukuoka back. Next they retreated back to Kyushu, with both of us in hot pursuit. We found the dreadnought flying through the system, and they again tried to cloak and escape, however they had used up all their cloaking device batteries. Around this point the captain must have given up, as they turned the ship towards the closest star and started cruising straight into it. We managed to stop it before the ship was fully melted, and started to bombard it with long-range mortar fire and anti-matter rounds. This seems to have roused the captain from their cowardice, and they started returning fire. Despite this, we were able to wear down its shields and eventually the captain returned to trying to fly into the star, were they met their demise this time.

On a previous patrol, in my snub-craft, I came across the smuggler Gunner_Moore again, who apologized for their earlier smuggling and paid their fine owed to the Republic of Kusari. After this I found a Blood Dragon bomber by Yokohama Shipyard, who had captured several Naval Officers. They refused to surrender, and were shot down. I gathered the captured officers and handed them over to the medical bay upon Yokohama Shipyard. That seems to be about all that has happened recently.

Location: Medical Bay 2-A, Shinagawa Station, New Tokyo

Today while on patrol I came across a Liberty Naval vessel that later identified itself as part of the Liberty Security Force, loitering around New Tokyo. After a short discussion, they asked for help, claiming that a portal was going to open up somewhere in the far reaches of the New Tokyo system, and "Unleash Hell". At first, I was skeptical, but I decided to briefly tolerate their presence within Kusari if they could provide information about a possible Alien Incursion. After flying for a bit they started acting very strange, before they opened fire upon my vessel, shortly destroying it, forcing me to eject, where upon a patrol from Shinagawa station later found me.

While this could most certainly be the ramblings of a mad-man, I feel it would still be prudent to look into this matter, however that would be quite far beyond the scope of our normal police work, so I'll be forwarding a copy of this report to the Kusari Naval Forces and Naval Intelligence for them to look over. Aside from that, all we could do is provide extra patrols through the area to keep an eye on things. From memory, the incident took place around Here, so it is a decent bit off the beaten path, and a disturbance could easily be missed if not watching out for it.

It was an ordinary patrol day. Well, to be honest, I was a little excited. The Farmers Alliance has increased activity. Several reports have already been received about the robbed trade ships. If before the ships of the Alliance attacked only the ships from Synth Foods... Now they robbed some freelancer's ship. To keep the situation under control, I flew out on my personal gunboat.
The patrol began quite calmly. Trade lines were clean and there wasn't even any indication that farmers are operating in this area. I started reviewing reports and planning actions, but suddenly the trade lane was disrupted. My scanners showed the "Raba", class transport, which owned by pilot Kenshin.Ogato. He became greatly threaten me and there was point to be a bit mad. This ship had the same weapons and looked pretty dangerous. (See the black box recording.) Besides, I had to arrest him with following Kusari Legal Codex (6-2). It was a tense battle. Despite the fact that Raba had the same weapons as mine, my ship have better agility. I disabled most of his ship's shields to damage vital systems. The battle was won. The criminal was taken to Fuchu prison

I am more and more worried about the situation with insurgent farmers. Today, when I was patrolling the Kyushu system, I came across one of these. Probably, she was going to recruit a few people on the planet, because she was trying to haul farmers alliance's propaganda. I tried to arrest her or even to find out their motives, but she just didn't give me a chance. I had to destroy her ship and deliver the rescue capsule to Fuchu prison. I request additional support from others officers to keep this situation under our control.

Kon'nichiwa. Igarashi-Junsa reporting patrol in New Tokyo system on 824-03-29.

I departed from Planet New Tokyo and followed the trade lane network log to track any potential smugglers or hostile ships.

First encounter was with an Atlas-class transport, identified as Bretonia Armed Forces vessel, callsign HMS Morgan. It was carrying sealed military containers which, according to scanner readings, were restricted to Rheinland military transports. The stated destination was Battleship Nagumo.

Although it was clear violation of protocols, I assumed that it should be resolved between Rheinland and Bretonia military in the first place. My priority was to deliver the cargo, so I decided to escort it to Nagumo let the transport unload first, then impose a fine on the vessel.

However, in the trade lane between planet New Tokyo and Shinjuku station we encountered a Farmers Alliance fighter piloted by suspect identified as Asaita Ikudo. He disrupted the lane, but didn't attack us first, so I ordered HMS Morgan to proceed and followed to cover its rear. He also pretended to be informed about things he wasn't supposed to know, like agreements between military forces of Rheinland and Kusari.

The Farmer followed us to planed Kyushu. After HMS Morgan docked, I engaged the Farmer and in intense combat destroyed his vessel by means of nuke mine. However, by the time it was over, the BAF transport either left or docked to planet Kyushu. I suggest to issue a fine on that vessel and send it to BAF to handle it. We might also need to inform Rheinland military about the violation.

After the fight with Asaita Ikudo, I returned to Planet New Tokyo where I spotted Kusary Naval Forces ship Thunderpaw. It was carrying Industrial Materials at that point and headed to Hokkaido system to load a cargo of Military Materials from battleship Matsumoto. I provided an escort to the transport to Hokkaido and back up to Ames station.

I stayed on Ames to refuel and then returned to New Tokyo to repair damage done by the Alliance fighter.

I'm attaching a full transcript of the encounter with HMS Morgan and suspect Asaita Ikudo.

Hikaru Igarashi Junsa over.

Kon'nichiwa. Igarashi-Junsa reporting patrol in Kyushu/New Tokyo systems on 824-04-04.

Todays patrol was tough. I am currently at the medical bay on Shinjuku station. En route from Planet Kyushu to Planet New Tokyo I encountered an Outcast pilot named Jared Nomak. His Sabre very heavy fighter was positioned next to trade lane ring from Kyushu Jump Gate to station Shinjuku. I demanded that he left the Kusari space, however, he denied the request and opened fire on me. As it turned out, his ship had superior firepower and my Wyrm quickly suffered severe damage and was disabled. I escaped the vessel and was taken to Shinjuku station by another police patrol after the Outcast left.

I'm requesting replacement fighter for the duration of repairs on my Wyrm. I also wanted to inquire if there is a possibility to equip our ships with more advanced weapons technology to be able to compete with the enemy.

Sayonara.

Regular problems with suspicious traders. Today, I used the gunboat "Nyx" to help Asano-san in the Shikoku system. He found a suspicious pirate cargo ship with the signature of the junker and the id of the freelancer. Moreover, he transported goods with limited access. And my colleague claimed to have seen him 4 times! We fined him for 4.5 millions of Sirius Credits and conducted to the Kepler system. His name will stored in out data base.

I am writing from the board of the battlecruiser "Chikara". We discovered and destroyed the outcast's destroyer. He ran away for a long time and ignored us until we reached the Sigma-19 system. It was pretty tight fight. Finally, we put this ship out of action.
