I don’t think adding “luxury food” to be used as a base “food” type is a good idea, it’s a commodity for the “rich and famous” so to speak RP commodity

Some system somewhere desperately needs it and so on
If it’s made as a base “food” type it’s wasted

but can be made into a rp food type instead of just being for bases

I like it, the only problem there is Outcasts have no Kyushu rice source, all bases which selling it (KSP, Samura and FA) are hostile and rephacked.

Yeah that's an issue. For Outcasts, having a sell point for Rice on a GC base would be worth considering. Say, Battleship Matsuda in Okinawa? It's actually closer from Alpha than Kyushu. Food for thought (huehuehue) for the Devs.

I think outcast food should be "Cardamine" since their bodies depend on them, and since that their POBs Crew would never be anyone but an outcast.

Ainu Depot makes much more RP sense than Matsuda, since it's actually the depot which is located really close to Kyushu so main loot from piracy will be likely located there.
