RE: The Arrest - Skorak - 04-17-2016 "Don't worry. I won't shoot. That is not how we treat prisoners, especially none who surrendered." He said calmly and lowered his weapon without putting it away though. He looked her over and wondered why the Detroit pilot was waving his gun around so much. She didn't really look like she could harm anyone here.
"Very well. Thank you for cooperating... uhm... I never got your name, both of yours actually." He then said a little insecure, never having needed to handle a situation like this since he was so very new in the Navy. And he didn't want to look bad in front of everyone either. RE: The Arrest - Reid - 04-18-2016 "My name is..." She paused for a moment, as if afraid to say it out loud. "My name is Jia Wu." Her voice dropped off when she finished her name, her eye wincing. Her entire body was tense, it almost seemed as if she was expecting something to happen. Something she seemed familiar to.
RE: The Arrest - Petitioner - 04-18-2016 "Jia Wu? That's... surprisin'ly easy to say. Can't say I'd know how to write it with those damn backwards letters, though."
Apparently finally satisfied that the captive Wu wasn't planning on running, the Detroit man holstered his gun and jumped down off of the fighter, landing on both feet with a thud. "Tif Stafford, Head of Security with Detroit Munitions." He extended one still-gloved hand to the Navy pilot, with a genial grin on his slightly-boxy face, apparently unconcerned with how tense the situation was just hardly a moment ago. RE: The Arrest - Skorak - 04-18-2016 He raised his eyebrows, confused about the sudden change in Staffords behaviour. Was he not understanding that this situation wasn't defused yet? "Cadet Oliver MacLeod, First Fleet." He then said nonetheless hoping it might calm everyone down if he would just play along.
"Alright. So. I guess we need to get into the station and from there I can call someone higher up." He then said and hoped this station would have something suitable so they wouldn't have to fear about her running but were able to talk freely too. RE: The Arrest - Petitioner - 04-20-2016 Tif cracked his knuckles and let out a heavy breath, at first opening his mouth to speak, but then pausing, as if to reconsider his words. Finally, with his words planned out, he spoke for real, addressing the naval officer.
"So, uhh, what's next? Interrogation? Of all the work I've done, I ain't never captured a spy before. S'more your area, sir." RE: The Arrest - Reid - 04-23-2016 "Wait, Interrogation?" Her voice became high pitched and filled with fear. "Please, not there. I'll tell you everything, just don't take me there"
RE: The Arrest - Skorak - 04-29-2016 He quickly raised his arms a little and tried to calm them down."Hey. Don't worry nothing is going to happen but well you.. you are a prisoner. So we cannot have you next to your ship. I will listen to your story again and then I decide who to call." hoping is explanation would be enough to calm her down and maybe the Detroit guy too. He was way too eager for his tastes.
"So can we all calmly go there?" asked carefully. RE: The Arrest - Reid - 05-05-2016 Jia still seemed afraid of what was coming, but her tone calmed down. "Okay, I'll be calm, let's go." Her voice trailed off, as if she accepted her fate.
RE: The Arrest - Skorak - 05-16-2016 "Good. Lets go then and I will request station control to give us a room where we can talk." he tried to say calmly so she wouldn't freak out again.
"Just down the hangar where I can call them up." he said and looked at the two so they would go in front. RE: The Arrest - Petitioner - 05-16-2016 Tif got the message well enough. He strode confidently in front of the other two, headed for the hangar's exit which led deeper into the station.
"Man, this is exciting," he spoke to himself, not really caring too much if the others heard him. "If I weren't already top dog I'd be gettin' a promotion after this one for sure." |
