No? Cruise Disrupters are there to disable cloaks when they're charging and Cloak Disrupter are there to deal oak already cloaked people. Cloak Disrupters still aren't widely distributed yet.

Cruise Disrupters suppose to stop engine not for disable cloaks. Cloak Disrupter developed for stopping/caught cloakers. If cruiser disruptors really need for disabling cloaks then why do we need cloak disruptors in the mod ? It'll be useless just like jump-drive. We do not need the CD for disrupting cloaks, you want to stop a cloakers then go get the cloak disruptors.

A player with a cloak in their countermeasure slot trades the ability to easily avoid missiles for the ability to go invisible.

A player with a cloak disruptor in their countermeasure slot trades the ability to easily avoid missiles for the ability to maybe once in a blue moon run into some guy who has a cloak mounted and wants to cloak in their vicinity.

Note how the above doesn't seem particularly "fair". That's why Cruise Disruptors should still disrupt charging cloaks.

Cloak disruptors on Cruisers should be moved to their perfectly unoccupied 'Equipment Slot' that doesn't see any use.

The name say it perfectly:

Cruise (disruptor)= for cruise(engines)
Cloak (disruptor) = for cloak(invisible)

Actually... and follow this facts, why not also CRUISE disruptors disrupting Jumpdrives? Some players use fast hyperjump for avoid death in combat hehehehe... just jumping somewhere close to a base where he can reload and just hyperjump last coordinates and reengage, what is totally unfair i guess...

In my opinion... Cruise Disruptors ONLY disrupting cruises will be more fair and will make players think about cooperate between them for having Cruise Disruptors and Cloak Disruptors in their "group"...

I don't like that, like when someone has a cloak on it and he tries to cloak away, you need a cloak disruptor... now what you wanna do when he hits his cruise? You wanna follow him and chase him across the system? Naa... that would be shit, because he could afk and fly away and you, you would just waste your time.
