While on patrol through the Frankfort sytem I requested that McNeo and The-Areis|DO report to the Mainz depot for inspection. Areis arived flying a corsiar destroyer and opened fire imdediatly after leaving the tradelane. McNeo flying an outcast Dreadnaught arrived a few minutes later to cheer and also opened fire. despite my best efforts I was unable to breach the shields on either ship before my bomber was disabled.
My escape pod and the Damefrieden where picked up by a Junker salvage group and are enroute to the Oder shipyard for repairs.
On a side note, I made contact with the SF pilot maximillion shortly after the incedent, but both subjects had fled Rhienland space into Sigma 17 before a counter attack could be attempted.

During Ruitine patol in the Frankfur system a Xenon Osiris classBattleship ID: Stockholm_FCS opened fire on my Gunboat outside Mannheim Station. Even though Fough Valiantly in the course of the fight I lost all of my weaponry and was forced to reatreat. The Stockholm then fled into New Berlin and escaped before SF re-inforcments could arrive.
The DameFrieden is being Towed to dry dock at the Ring were it will remain until repairs can be completed.
OOC: well atleast one things accurate in this mod...the criminals consitantly outgun the police ;)

I am pleased to report that I have secured my ship and ID, I have been engaging pirates throughout rheinland with much success.
Apart from a slight SNAFU with the registeration paperwork (got myself a police tag without doing missions :$ ) hopefully this will be sorted out soon.
I am currently based on the battleship westfalen in hamburg, I have a few items to report, they are as follows:-
1) a vessel ID'd as 'intoxication' refused to heed my hails to stop for an ID check and cargo scan.
This vessel has not, to my knowledge, returned to rhienland space.
2) a minor mix up during comm exchange with a Bs| trader revealed a flaw in our database (the Bs| are allied but not listed as allies in the faction post, on that note does that mean we don't scan allied faction vessels?)
3) had a brief comm exchange (read: arguement) with a brunschuh fighter pilot, no other contact was had with the vessel.
4) a RAHF vessel refused to stop for an ID check and cargo scan, claimed to have valuables and he promptly fled the system.
I was unable to pursue because I ran into a hessain raiding party, led by a single brunschuh, that was staging in the asteroid field near vierlande prison station.

Bs| is allies with RM, in a matter of sorts. It seems I forgot to update the faction information. I'll get right to that.
And yes, we do scan allied traders. Even allies can smuggle. However, we do leave their traders alone and let their own leaders deal with them.

I'd like to report that I was stopped by a certain individuum tagged [Wraith]Shadow which demanded 1,5 mils for safe passage in Stuttgard system just imediatelly after departing from Planet Stuttgard. The agressors fully loaded fighter-class ship and the fact we were carrying important cargo to New Berlin made us accept to pay. Well I used at least some of my trading skills and after several minutes of negotiations I managed to lower the price to 1,1 mil.
My question is if that is some kind of a new fee for using trade lanes in Rheinland or what? It didn't sound very official and according to the demander behavior I am very suspicios.
We are short of escort fighters in CST these days so if it continues we (and all other trader convoys coming to Rheinland) would have to hire more escorts and that would significantly increase the price of comoditties imported to Rheinland and on the other hand lower the profit of commodities esported to other parts of Sirius.
So if that was a pirate action I suggest this excess to be investigated with maximum attention because rising of piracy in recent past is a great threat to Sirius economy.
I hope appropriate actions will be done and more peacefull days in Rheinland will come again.

I have finished equipping my ship, only one item remains to be gotten.
I will be making enquires amongst my former colleagues of the [IND], if anyone else would like the item I am interested in, let me know and I'll see about a bulk order discount.
On the subject of weapons I have managed to recover several classified prototypes from the debris fields in sigma 13, I'll be keeping hold of them until further notice. so if you would like to try/have some contact me via more secure channels (read: PM or in-game).
Also a trader refused to report for an ID check and cargo scan, the trader was destroyed when it returned, as it had been warned that failure to comply would result in severe penalities.
The vessel 'intoxication' has now failed to respond to hails and report for the inspect twice.
An ARM trading vessel and an SNS gunboat were also stopped and scanned.
