Well, the event plugin is still kinda derpy, so these are gonna replace it for now. The Tridente event and the faction requested ones are gonna come along as soon as that is done. Send your beer to @"King Boo" because he is coding it now, actually.
It is coming from my bank for now, because these are trial runs and dumping hundreds of millions of EXISTING credits into the game economy is better than generating them from thin air via event boosts.
EDIT: That and you guys seem like you need some ingame distraction, otherwise you spend too much time in these forum drama threads 8|||

Just to clarify, any IDed ship can take that gem or only Gallic lawful/unlawful can participate?

I will be adding the full list of rules as soon as some variables are specified.
But yes, the ship that the item will be on will -need- to be destroyed to obtain it. For the purposes of that one specific moment, your ID engagement rules (both inside and outside of your ZOI) will not apply. The interaction with all other ships is, however, going to be completely within the server rules.
So there won't be OC IDed ships trying to shoot up other OC IDs or allied factions. Or if the item is picked up by a Freelancer IDed ship, you better have an ID that would allow you to engage them.
To those who have expressed their concern regarding the GRN and their lack of reward - rest assured there is something in mind for them as well.
Apart, you know, the fact that they will have lots and lots and lots of potential blues to collect.

Oh, and yes. The event is open to participate in with any ID, but you will be bound by your ID and ZOI limitations if you participate. But don't worry if you do not have anything in Gallia - the person will need to get to Liberty to sell it in the first place, after all.
