@Kalhmera Each circumstance is being reviewed.
@nyx you have a faction love it live it. let it grow dont waste time here. My goal is a complete change. Into a model that works. into a model that.. does not generate too much fuss when i have to go this far to get results out of some of you.

@Snoflek I found it interesting that for the longest time the Khara RP made it so that only one nomad and one wilde faction was feasible. and when the complaints and urge for change reached its peak we got indie nomads and the wilde factions split up and only recently is there another nomad faction. Already talk about wilde factions consolidating is happening small community not enough people etc.
The game is old the mod is old and now the bases are invulnerable or off cause its broken the devs and admins are probably screaming about how probably 50% of the people will now disappear cause there's no need to feed their damn bases.
The server relies on a plugin that is an essential grind to keep their cloak factory tamaguchi alive. if you ask me that is the worst form of stagnation.. its co dependency.
you're not playing a game you're feeding a habit. but resting and wowzer cool neato new mods and abilities nerfed to all hell will keep coming to keep folks interested right?
No you have to make your own fun here and if you fail to do so if you fail to clean house . then the fault is placed squarely on laurels in which we've rested.

I'd like and support this move, players are have to be devoted. It's clear that changes are not coming easy and it will cause some opposition, but I don't think you should step out from this.

Who needs buttcloaking, cloaked RP, two line engagements, a total lack of a long term plan, butchering the initial lore, ignoring years of previous RP, full capship encounters in 9 out of 10 cases... when all it needs is a Hug.

To the OP - I don´t think that restricting members in their faction choices is wise. Especially when it comes to faction with such limited friendly/neutral factions. Disco is too small for strict clan setup. And history showed that it doesn´t bring anything good anyway, in ancient Disco times when flying opposite faction was considered as terrible sin by players, ooRP hatred between the player groups went through the roof. This is game and games are supposed to be fun, not another commitment. All you will achieve will be feeling of life in totality where something normal is considered illegal, so if you want to do what you like, you have to do it secretly, under other name and don´t speak with anybody about it. Not to mention that members will be prone to burn out and leave much more because there will be lack of diversity.
I think that what you will achieve with this will be much smaller faction which will be visible in game much less and you will have hard time to get new members.

I like this faction, I like do often the "evil" and I like do this for more time (2 hours minimum per month) influencing the entire RP history (You wouldn't know but... there's a reason of why my K'Hara| ships are tagged as Madze. too but for the faction they won't inluence so much the story so I didn't create varoius other groups/player factions)! But I like also more faction else, like BAF| Core| and my new faction {AC}=. Why this decision? I hate and I fear to decide, I don't want to leave other my character RP for this faction but SERIOUSLY, I love this faction! Couldn't we do some... Oath during the recruitment? Some ideas else? Please, I fear!

You wouldn't want to play in the Taus (//Edit: or Omicrons) from back the day, less your motivation to play would survive. More dedication to less factions played per player is good and needed,... this? Isn't.

I honestly cannot understand at all why you want to support such things, Shiki.
You would have to leave all except two of your factions if you want this to become a standard (since it is obvious that abandoning Enma isn't an option.)
I would say if you are so eager for this, try it out on your own first. Tell the other faction leaders that you are just testing it for two weeks maybe.
Then we can talk again.
Restricting things like this was done before and worked out horrible. I can understand Huggie partly though but there are honestly better ways and I am sure most here know them anyways.
