RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - Skorak - 12-24-2016 There is no rules against who you can bounty. It was an inrp gesture since no one can claim it anyways (need to be hostile to you). The only one they can conventiently claim on is "Estefania Casta" as that would make it an assassination bounty instead of a blanket one, requiring no hostile reputation. The character registered on a board must be at least neutral to their employer, and hostile to the faction they are targeting in a bounty. This does not apply to assassination missions where the target is a single character. Board owners are obliged to ensure that the persons they are hiring have a suitable reputation. This means no hiring or paying people who would be hostile to you based on previous actions or non-hostile with the targets they claim. Quote:4. Discovery Freelancer 24/7 RP enforced rules:Players flying an OC-ID, still required to be registred on your board to make a claim, were invited by the NC to go and break the rules as they were promised a reward (the bounty payout). Of course you can now say that everyone who'd have done this should've known they couldn't do it, yet you, as official faction, still invited them to do it. For individual bounties (assassinations), despite that many factions ignore it, there's a special subforum http://discoverygc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=146 where I cannot find the char you mentioned listed as being bountied by the NC or at all. Merry Christmas everyone. RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - Divine - 12-28-2016 One week check-in bump. RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - Divine - 01-04-2017 Two weeks check-in bump. RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - sindroms - 01-04-2017 Since there is no active discussion regarding this situation, I will forward what was mentioned in the admin chat during the processing of this request. This is a result of an off-the-rails sort of roleplay, where an outcast group is attempting to collaborate with the Corsair Empire. The outcome of such actions would have been an FR5 regardless. We would like you all to deal with this in roleplay (Or out of roleplay if you really feel like it) and among one another and resort involving the administration team in situations where no compromise can be achieved. So far it seems as no such attempt was genuinely made in the first place. EDIT: To clarify, the request itself passed on the account of there being enough roleplay to justify it in the first place and the lack of negotiations IRP. RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - Divine - 01-04-2017 What other answer I expected. Anyways, you might want to address the points raised about the multifactioning and the bounty without FR. Besides, if this stays up the 101st requests (//Edit: Whilst still OC tagged and ID'd) the allowance to actively shoot NC- tagged ships, ships seen working with the NC-, known Oracles as well as having this allowance expanded to everyone grouped with us. Or does this need a separate player-request to be realized and voted on? //Edit: (01-04-2017, 05:36 PM)sindroms Wrote: ...Are you fking kidding me? The "negotiations" been a faction, the NC, borderline powergaming another persons character into being taken hostage and when that's denied for obvious reasons ... than that's not enough talk IRP, which justifies the execution of an FR5? //Edit: I also take by your last statement that multifactioning one char to reap the benefits of two different official factions is now the way to go, especially when one can get a permacloak due to that. Is that correct? //Edit: (01-04-2017, 05:36 PM)sindroms Wrote: Since there is no active discussion regarding this Situation...That's really nice by the way. Much appreciated. Spot the sarcasm. RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - sindroms - 01-04-2017 The parts you requested to be looked into will be, but it will not happen in a heartbeat, my post was made to clarify that. It might be the post-holiday activity drought, but needless to say, out of all of the paperwork, this particular case is low priority. In the meantime, you are free to engage in hostile activities against the people you mentioned, as long as you have the appropriate ID for it. Considering you are taking a once well-known outcast faction as your personal project and are already implementing unique roleplay, a change of ID is no doubt something you are striving for already. SRPing one would be the more obvious choice, but that is open for you to decide. As for the concerns you brought up, yes, that is what usually happens when the demands of a group are not met, it seems - it is called roleplay consequences, something you were, hopefully, already ready for, given the approach to your ongoing project. That'll be lots of fun. Do me a favour and log more so I can do it with you too. However we're not going to change ID. Actually, explain to me why we shouldn't be allowed to engage the NC when they now obviously can engage us due to this FR5. Or just vote on the request. Could always give us our previous 101st-ID back, but whelp, just for official factions that're brutally inactive it seems. RE: Group FR5ed: [101st] - sindroms - 01-04-2017 I will bring up a discussion regarding the amendment of the FR5 rules regarding whether or not FR5ed factions can, regardless of ID, return hostilities to the faction that filed it against them. Until then, however, follow the lines of your ID.
