RE: Extranet transmission to Rear Admiral Victoria Knight, Bering Locus. - Enkidu - 07-20-2017 Incoming Transmission To: RADM Victoria Knight From: Armin Jansen, der Alster Union. Subject: Ordering the Order. Think on the circumstances of your departure - the narrative of the war has been heavily confused. It is entirely possible that the Libertonians, taking advantage of your comparative isolation in the Alaska system at the time, developed a narrative with the Order before you did. After all, from the Order’s perspective, which is more containable, or likely? A rogue RADM and her battlegroup, infected by incubi, bottled up in a system rumoured to be the site of innumerable military and LSF black programs, or the entire upper echelons of the Libertonian Mill-Ind complex? One is apocalyptic, the other is not. However, now that you have escaped to comparative sanctuary, we may be able to restart a dialogue with the Order. They are pressured no longer by the weight of whatever operations they had played with in Coronado, according to our contacts within the wider black market. Usually, operational silence from the Order is positive news; it provides us with level ground to rebuild a relationship. We have direct contact with the Order, if scant. We do not attack their assets passing through the Rhein and the GMG conflict zone, in return, they have provided us with relatively up-to-date anti-Incumbi detection equipment to keep our own ranks clean, of which we are lamentably susceptible due to our participation in the artefact trade and our own, decentralised nature - however, it appears that the Nomads have, for the most part, ignored us - a gratifying state of affairs, as we would have little to counteract them with. It would be likely that the Order would be willing to re-open any investigation that they quite likely possess into Harmony’s narrative, if you would be personally willing to submit to anti-infection testing at the Order’s hands, Admiral. Obviously, that places you at considerable personal risk before a known terrorist group, so we would advise that the meeting itself takes place within Bering itself, in the presence of the Union as a mediating party. This requires you to put a significant amount of personal trust in a group that hardly leaped to your salvation before, Admiral, but the Order’s history weighs favourably for you. The Order supported the elements of the rogue cruiser task force, Attack Group South, during the Nomad War against their infected superiors - they will likely provide the same aid to you, if you can prove that you truly are who you say you are. It is but one of many options, Knight. However, if the Liberty Navy makes a determined push into Bering, we will have a bloodbath on our hands to push them out. More friends, make for more cannons. Regards, Armin Jansen. First contact representative and Diplomat-in-Chief of der Alster Union, Pacifica Base, Bering. Transmission Ended
