Operative Rose reporting for duty.
I have successfully infiltrated Liberty space and followed the Lane Hacker's whereabouts, personally. It appears their lust for credits and Cardamine has made them ruthless, crazed murderers, willing to destroy anyone on their way. I can confirm the destruction of a Liberty Siege Cruiser, right in front of my eyes. I've managed to gather a few Liner Part samples the traders handled to me. The Liner itself appears to be quite harmless without the parts. I assume a nearby base has to be a drop-off point for the rushing transports. I have gathered proof of the attack on the Liberty Siege cruiser, as well. Unfortunately, as soon as I've refused to engage a Liberty Patrol defending the area, I've been blocked immediately from their comm channel from the transport leader.

[Proof of the destruction of the Liberty Siege cruiser.]

Rose out.

I'm embarrassed to report that one of our operations has become a drastic failure, although I believe we've seen the worst past already. Last week, I assigned an intelligence asset, Kailani Rose, a mission to investigate whether reports about a lost pirate liner inside of Liberty was of any concern to Bretonian national security. Our objective was to see if we could find the approximate location of the Liner and perhaps see if we could determine its destination, especially if it was bound for Bretonia. Although we were able to get a general idea that it was somewhere in the Texas system as Ms. Rose had discovered, Ms. Rose was also discovered to be a spy by the Lane Hackers. She was able to get away to Beaumont Base and hide there.

Officer Skirka and I contacted two assets for the extraction, Martin Weber and Ridley Jones to direct them to Liberty while we acted as their handlers. They rendezvoused at Norfolk Shipyard before proceeding to Beaumont Base to extract Kailani Rose out of there and it seems we were able to do so just in time. We have reason to believe that the Lane Hackers may have been following Jones, Weber and Rose while they were cloaked but we can't be sure. We did however have the lead in the chase and I suspect their cloaks couldn't have held on for long without battery resupplies, so we don't think they were able to get evidence of us bringing Ms. Rose back to Bretonia definitively but they definitely suspect us.

After that, Skirka and I scrambled to assist Cpt. Sid Fire of the BAF| in combating the Lane Hacker who was following us but it seems we were ill-prepared as none of us expected a member of the elite Lane Hacker Assassins to be present in Bretonia.

Overall, our analysis of the situation is that we need to bring in further controls over the intelligence asset program and set strict guidelines and protocols for missions, specifically sensitive ones taking place inside house space. We need to minimise such mistakes in the future. Overall, although we were able to get enough intel regarding the pirate Liner, the subsequent consequences of our asset being discovered and having to embark on an even more sensitive extraction operation within an allied state and strongly suggest to the Lane Hackers that that spy might have been one of ours, makes this mission an operation failure.

Sincerely,
Adrienne Perry,
Secret Intelligence Service, Bretonia

I report our flight to Tau 31 where James Skirka, Alexander Wright and Hanna Wyghtham met a ToI agent, Imari Settan, who reported a successfol attack on a gallic Battleship. He handed the Admiral over to me to get the information out of him. He said we would need the information and for the Dragons, it wouldn't be useful. We brought him back to Battleship Harlow. Thats it for to day.
Here my evidence for takeing the Admiral to the Harlow:

Yesterday between 1330 and 1630 hours, 2 Wilde vessels and a Nomad battleship performed an incursion upon the Cambridge system and it also appears that there may be some pressing news as one of them was a Bretonian gunboat with the designation HMS-Hampshire. Although I was unable to discern whether the captain of the vessel was infected at first, I did notice that it almost immediately vanished/cloaked upon visual contact. The Nomad battleship was also very near it, although I didn't think much of it at that time. I tried to scan the vessel to see if we could get any useful readings of it but unfortunately it too had cloaked.

Afterwards Lt. Col. Edmund Steiner assumed command of the operation and began a Cambridge-wide search of the alien ships. I believe Cpt. Goldberg of the BMM-Dublin Badger eventually found and came under attack from the alien battlegroup so we scrambled to his location near the New London jump gate at the Cambridge system to assist.

Upon my arrival I was able to collect audiovisual evidence that the HMS Hampshire is in fact an infected Wilde ship as it had fired upon friendly forces while assisting the Nomad forces. Evidence is posted below.

I'd like to request that all intelligence officers coordinate your assets to see if we can find out anything about an individual calling him/herself "Shipbreaker". Please see below for reference:

Due to our recent overture with the Lane Hackers, I was afraid that this was a potential trap set up by them and as such I requested that Shipbreaker and I meet in a neutral location where he could be tested for Nomad contamination. He declined and cut all communications with me.

We need to find out who he is attempting to sell these weapons to and if he is simply paranoid, or in fact, infested. Any assistance on this from any other SIS officer would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Adrienne Perry,

Together with Operative James Skirka and Adrienne Perry as well as Intelligence Asset Aidan Reeves, today did I take part in a patrol, sweeping through the Omegas multiple times. Since the coast was pretty much clear and the patrol more or less completely eventless, we then made our way to the Omicrons, making checks whether there was anything going on that could be in the Service's interest. In the meantime Perry and Reeves decided before long to return to Bretonia, leaving Skirka and me to continue our route on our own.

In Omicron Gamma, we finally made a curious find: A nomad crossed our path in the Malvada Cloud, between the jumpholes to Omega-55 and Omicron Kappa. While it seemed to be a fairly young specimen of the nomad race, it surely was eager in proving itself - or however their society works. To cut a long story short, Operative Skirka was engaged by the nomad shortly after he had ordered me to leave for Omega-55. Although I returned shortly to assist him, we did not manage to cause any major damage to the vessel. Meanwhile another vessel - a Corsair gunboat called "La.Maldad" - showed up on the scene of battle, taking notice of our activity inside Corsair space.

As we realized we would come out on the short end against the nomad, Skirka and I backed out, falling back to Dagger Outpost in Omega-55. There I am residing for now, until I'll make my way back to Bretonia again.

This is all for now.

Operative Chelsea Jenkins

A message was recieved today while I was on a deep patrol to relieve Agents Jenkins and Skirka in the Omega-55 system. A BDM agent required gunboat support in the system of Sigma-13. A surprise Nomad assault had caught the Rheinland security forces off guard and they were struggling to secure the area around the Frankfurt Jump gate in Sigma-13. I did divert from my intended route to ensure that the BDM would, hopefully, have a somewhat positive impression of us. After being escorted through Dresden and Frankfurt by BDM agents, I arrived to find a hellish battle raging around Hegoland Station. The Nomad ships moved like water, and were very difficult to hit, nevertheless, with the assistance of one Agent 'Lichthammer' all Nomad ships were destroyed. I have since returned to Freeport-5 and will relieve our two agents in Omega-55 tomorrow. I hope my actions will not reflect badly on the SIS, and as a courtesy to the BDM, no images were taken.

I'm unaware as to how farmiliar the Gallic Royal Navy is with the Jumphole link from Newcastle to Tau-31, but I recieved reports of two Royal Navy ships attacking a vessel near Lancaster. Suspecting the worst, I moved to Tau-31, and my suspicions were confirmed. Two Marine Royale Gauloise pilots near Holman, both questioned me to no avail, and both attacked me - to no avail.

I must admit that the following report has already been long overdue, but at the same time is of a certain importance. It revolves around this correspondence I have had together with Mr Martin McKinsey of AP Manufacturing for quite a while already. It is the right time to provide a small résumé on what this whole communication has been about.

In short, we initially reached out for APM with the wish to purchase a collection of weapons with hybrid nomad technology, in order to conduct own experiments with the weapons and find a way to integrate them into our warfare against the Gallic machinery of war. Knowing that we will need aces up our sleeves if we want to have any kind of hope to win the war, those weapons, as soon as we understand how they work exactly (although I was told those are "plug-and-play" objects, I suggest to give APM's so-called "intellectual property rights" a kick in their sweet arse and carry out research on the exemplars we've got), will hopefully have a decisive role in future battles. It's not like this was a cheap deal - for those few specimens we had to come up with a hefty sum of money. Especially considering that, I strongly suggest to use the weapons we've got in more than one way and get the most out of the few we can so far call our own. If everything has proceeded as planned, the weapons should by now have arrived at the respective Service's derpartment.

Despite that, APM and the Service have come to a mutual agreement to have their eyes and ears open regarding matters about the terrorist cell called The Order. APM made a statement about the "Shipbreaker" individual Director Perry had run into a while ago, declaring that it's not due to their lack of security that this individual managed to get his hands on nomad weaponry as well. We neither have reason to trust nor distrust this statement, thus I suggest to have a neutral eye on APM in the future. That they blame the Order for openly accessable weapons of nomad origins is only natural, but whether that is truthfully or not remains a mistery for now.

That is all for now. As I believe this covers the information exchange

Signed,
Operative Chelsea Jenkins
