No need for transparency in this thing. And yes, we do need at least one or two more admins that can help out the current team with all the work thats going on. And I know there is a lot of stuff that they are doing behind the scenes that is intended to provide better QoL on Discovery. That means some things such as SRP requests will take a bit longer to process, but its all done to provide more and better content for the players that remain on Disco and continue to support the mod by playing it.

Edit: Fatfingering my mobile keyboard, pardon the mistakes.

Eh, fair point.

Reduce the amount of stupid things being done leading to admins putting their current task to rest to deal with it and things will move forward. The absurd amount of time lost dealing with sunglasses wearing community members in the green room or similar scenarios is just sad.

Hah, that's true.

Exactly my point on why we would need another admin or two dealing with the extra load put on top of the current admin team.

Perhaps a group of people not admins or mods (But held to the same standards as both) can be subjected into helping to move this process along?

Just saying as my SRP is nearing 3 months since sent.

But this issue NEEDS to be addressed in full.

From my experience that group of peoples with "same standards" as the aforementioned are what causing the delays and will take even longer if will happen or will see silly things getting approved because of friendships and sorts ...

Then what?

Let's see.. the problem with SRPs is that admins just don't have time to read those and see what could be wrong with those and how will affect other players/factions if it were to be approved.
So.. how to fix it?
Maybe.. unhide the request(s) and let other members post their opinions on the request to help the team(s) spot what could go wrong if were to be approved.

*some other notes: some request needs to be forwarded to the devs since it requires a client side patch and some team members don't know how implement it(ie: not @sindroms xd)

That or the removal of the system altogether, since the implementation of such a group is impossible.
There were times before SRPs and people did very well without them, using the toys they had already access to in order to enjoy the game.

SRPs are a large part of disco. It's fuel to play for some people.

That's not what I meant by such. I was going at for rules wise in how they were to act in dealing with such.

Here's the system I would suggest:

SRP Team - 5/6 Members

1. SRP is reviewed.
2. Team Votes yay or nay
3. Team passes SRP up the chain with reasons for approval.
4. Final Vote is given and if approved Admin implementation is done.

Pro's:

1. Admins do not need to read over all the details thus less time needed as only a simple review is needed and a single vote.
2. Team would be held to standards of Moderators/Admins and rules accordingly.
3. Stress Reduced over timelines to get things completed.

Con's:

1. Time to find willing slaves personnel needed.
