This person is probably quite young or have never played a game where roleplaying is a requirement. So I don't see a reason to try and attempt (there's a good reason why I say attempt) to shame them.

Whilst I understand what you were trying to do here, Ruari - it's better to find ways to encourage such people to understand the systems.
The first thing I did was hop in an eagle with no armour after demanding in local chat credits for five hours, FL ID and Zoner guns run into an RM/v/LN fight, and start bumping and spamming my guns into the RM bismark because it was red to me (guard IFF). Uh. I had no idea what was going on either.
If I had been taken to task over all the things I had done when I was new, I wouldn't be here now.
