....... Not exactly. You see, Freelancer's audio files have the .wav extension, yes...but they are encoded in Fraunhofer's MPEG2 Layer-3 (mp3) format. This sounds weird, but this game was made back in Windows 98/XP days, when this was actually pretty common. In fact, we can do this ourselves using an old Windows XP program. ..........

Ehm... I'm not doing that thing. I could also edit all edited music with the @Ruairi method but, as I told you, I'm a bit lazy

I updated the file and now it's more lighted. Now it includes only the edited musics too.
But... @Regulus, I don't know why, maybe I'm deceiving myself but... I feel like if the quality of some edited musics are a bit decreased...

In your audio player, sure, in Freelancer i don t know.
You can modify the parameters and do some tests :
-ab 80k -ar 22050 --> -ab 128k -ar 44100
