Still though, in effect, the effect I wanted to achieve (secondary effect) is already made.
There is already an SBY tribute (of sorts) in the game.

Well, while matsumoto is classic, and some small references just unavoidably, there no place for direct importing BS Yamato, Arcadia, and some intergalaxy trains. Kusari there already have problems with weebs and their impact on RP.
You always can create Kusari BS, and fight Rheinland in the name of Emperor, listening SBY soundtrack (this is really fun).
Also there absolutely lack of Potato-man characters. Also if you want play RP between crew members, there already exists examples how do it, its always good too.
But no direct imports, just no. Its ruin immersion of roleplay and just make everybody who will meet you cringe. This time passed, and everybody who do it is trashed by stick.

The point is, he's already here so there's no need for directly importing the Yamato.
