As bad as this looks in the provided videos, you also need to take in the fact that unless you're directly above or below the sabre, and hitting specific parts, you won't experience this problem. I'm not saying that it'll never happen, just that unless you're extremely unlucky, a huge amount of your shots will still hit the ship if you are fighting it normally.
