Yes, I agree the power should be taken down, ALOT. It should have the energy of a little under a cruiser (it is almost as strong as it). The Liner could easily be classified as a Civilian cruiser. With the firepower its size can allow, and the strongest shield not owned by the military. So its a slightly under defended cruiser in my opinion.

Why?
It's classed, by igiss, as a transport, therefore it should have the same power level as a large train.
Which can't even dent it's power output when you use the class 9 transport turrets on it.
The only way to drain the energy on a larger train is by mounting a single gunboat turret on it, if you mount two then your really draining the power.
Dispite the fact the liners have more turrets I don't see why they'd need cruiser powerplants to use transport weapons.

I'm saying if we classed it as a civilian cruiser. Its rather large, and would have the size to handle such a large energy core. But its up to Igiss to class it how he wants. I still think it should have just under cruiser energy, with over train defense (new trains, not the old shields, same defense as current train shields). Also, those transport turrets can be used by fighters. The level 5 one, class 9 slot, only takes 260 energy, but gives I think 500 damage. So the liner will still be pretty powerful if Igiss wants it to be a transport class.

Liner actually had a stronger power supply then stated in its infocard due to a mistake. This thing was corrected, so now the power values should be correct.

You do realise that those transport turrets are pretty much the same size as cruiser/BS turrets?
I've seen an armoured transport and a humpback using them, they looked utterly stupid.
The armoured transport can use fighter weapons, so why bother using transport turrets on it?
Then again that'd be using common sense, which several newbies seem to be lacking.

Well, I didn't dock at the Lost Battlestar Igiss, the LBS KILLED me so I could respawn. But its weapons weren't up to it so I had to keep dropping pilots to get the shield down. :P
