Saiker Kale smiled.

The bar was bustling, and he was thirsty.

With a quick movement he sidestepped two arguing rogues, and proceeded to the bar, where the barman was sending glares at an important looking man sat at a table dead centre of the room.

"Hello there... give me the best ale you have."

The barman glanced at Saiker, an eyebrow raised and then the barman nodded, slipping a glass under a tap.

"20 credits." he grunted.

"Charge it to mooring spot 1" muttered Saiker, walking away.

The barman glared at him, extra work for him. With a snarl he tapped the computer next to him, checking the mooring spot.

*Accessing Data*

*Mooring Spot 1: Occupied*

*Owner: Saiker Kale, unknown pirate.*

*Ship type: Outcast Destroyer.*

*Ship name: Immortalis*

The barmans eyebrows raised, no doubt a crew of drunken outcasts would be in here soon... Sylpheed wouldn't like that...

He shrugged, and added a 200 credit bill to the ship, he didn't like wasting time chasing up bills.

Meanwhile, Saiker stalked through the crowd, and saw a strange looking man sat on a stool. A black cane was in his hand, and one eye was patched. With a smile Saiker stepped forwards.

"Skye I presume?"

The man disregarded the loud remarks behind him, oblivious to the fact that the Rogue doing the talking was actually referring to him.

He stopped as he was about to take another drink as he heard his name. He looked out of the corner of his eye to see a tall dark-haired chap with sunglasses smiling at him, smartly dressed for a Rogue...

"And you are?"

Saiker smiled slightly, turning and sitting down next to him.

"Saiker Kale. Pirate at the moment... I have.. 'heard' of you and your actions Mr. Skye. Let's just say I'm very interested in working with you."

The man's face was unreadable, and when he opened his mouth to speak, Saiker quickly started a neural net recorder in his pocket. He needed to know this man's every word.

Andrew Mort was about to say something else but shook his head and brought his hand up to a device in his hear, somewhat an old style of interface with the inbound ships and main docking crews and he nodded, looking at Sylpheed.

"Boss? I am glad to say that the pirate train under the flag has reached Beamount base safely with one full shipment of cardamine. I must admid that a 10million income is rather...well, surprisingly more than i have expected...but i still am going to waste H-fuel on that thing when really pressed"

Andrew murmured something to the intercom clasped on the side of his jackets neckpeace, something about the train needing to make a small stop on Alcatraz. yet suddenly his eyes opened wider as he checked the electronic notepad, when he wished to point out the mooring bay the ship needed to use. An outcast destroyer...surely battle barges were a large bother, but a destroyer...Sylpheed wouldnt like this and he grumbled to himself, franticly murmuring in his comm device to warn the docking crew for the inbound and empty train, arrainging the needed checkups and furthermore, instalation of a proper transmitter.

Skye put down his beer and turned his full attention to Saiker.

"I see..." He said, quieter than usual. Saiker's confidence impressed him.

"Well, presume you're not going to waste my time with unimportant business." His stare was intense as he spoke.

"What are the terms of your deal?"

Ekky Z'Bang walked into the bar. There were a few scattered snickers from the people who knew why he was called that, but for the most part everyone was either conducting shady business or lying on the floor in a drunken stupor. Not that it mattered to him. His business was with a certain bottle.

He walked over to the barkeep and ordered his usual: One Satan's Whiskers, with a side order of information.

Nursing the cocktail, he listened to the chatter around him. Not a whole lot of useful talk though. When the barkeeper came back with the latest reports, he took it and began reading through it.

Interesting, he thought. Looks like them Navy boys got what was comin' to 'em.

He got to the end of the page and flipped it over to the role call of combatants in the latest battle. When he saw one of the names, he gave an involuntary flinch. What was HE doing in Liberty?

Ashes looked curiously at the bottle of brandy. It wasn't her thing... but when the Boss offered her a drink, she didn't turn it down. Call it polite, if you will. She helped herself to the bottle of Brandy, and poured it into her glass.
"Thanks boss." She said, and brought the glass to her lips, and drunk it in one gulp. Ashes coughed and cleared her throat, the drink was stronger than she had anticipated. She winced slightly, the taste still lingered in her mouth.
"It's strong.." She said weakly. It wasn't what she was used to. She quickly poured herself a new glass of sake and drunk it to wash down the taste. Ashes yawned and stretched her arms above her head. She had only just woken up, and had already drunk four glasses. If she planned on getting anything done today, she'd need to slow down. But then, the Navy had put a damper on her spirits lately. She didn't much feel like flying at the moment anyways.

Ashes glanced quickly over her shoulder, there were quite a few new people in the bar that she had never seen before. She figured they might not be local. Ashes turned back to Sylpheed, who had been speaking of their money woes.
"We might need to organise escorts for those transports." She suggested. The convoys were pretty vital, after all, for supplies.
"If the Navy keeps intercepting our convoys, we might have to get our supplies from theirs." She suggested.

Saiker looked at the man closely. He knew his time was running out before Sylpheed learned of his ship on the side of Alcatraz, and then all hell would break loose.

"Let's just say I'm interested in joining you for a bit. I can hold my own in battle, and would like to learn from a master..."

Saiker pressed a small transmitter in his pocket, and with a hiss, Immortalis broke off from Alcatraz and started charging it's cruise engines, heading off into the asteroid field.

Andrew listened quietly to the conversations around, while keeping in track with the one with his boss. He nodded slowly and rested his chin in his hand, idly moving his leg.

"I don't know...recently there has been too much activity from the navy's side to risk even one patrol to leave this field. We had a cruiser sitting right outside near planet Majove, so the local bomber squad is needed 24/7. Not to mention a bounty hunter gunship or two, those things are nasty...nope..i say we cant really add more patrols to our convoys if by doing so we risk them not to find a base standing when they get there...protection is vital, i know but...its risky..."

The man sighed some and rubbed his temples a little "Ill go pay a visit to the Forteleza base when i can, boss. This doesn't sound so simple, that increasing the patrols would help. In fact, i will do so when i finish gearing up the Wingclipper, hopefully i can go have a look see through that route for the problem, without having to put another shipment to risk."

Andrew got up from his chair and stretched, feeling a few popping sounds in his neck, then turned to Sylpheed and nodded, then smiled at Ashes and took his suitcase to prepare to leave.

Skye leaned against the bar table, glancing around the room as he spoke.

"Surely we are working together already, if we both meet here. We fight for the same cause here, do we not?"

Before Saiker could reply, Skye continued:

"You could learn a great deal from this.. but it won't be easy, it requires absolute dedication!" He was speaking rather loudly by this point.

A pause. One or two Rogues glanced over at the bar. Skye took a drink of beer, and continued at a more normal volume.

"What ship do you posess?"
