Idea 1: I think this could be a great way to promote lesser known trade-routes and therefore populate systems that don't get much traffic usually.

Idea 2: If this works ingame this is a pretty good one. I'd like to see that. I'm a little worried that someone would just sit in front of those larger asteroids and shoot at it while alt-tabbed. Maybe have the ore drop straight into space for it to be tractored.

Idea 3: Like it. Should be implemented.

How reliably and effectively could you track all sold and bought commodity on every base without causing massive extra server load with it?

how would you do that

Have a program run juts before server restart editing the serverside configs or having it deploy a tiny patch every X days, depending on server load.

Lest I am mistaken, commodity selling is already logged in the server files.
