.:j:. Junker Congress Admissions - Ironwatsas - 04-04-2009 A man looking streight out of an old western, Gruff, dressed in a flannel shirt with a leather vest, blue jeans, cowboy boots with spurs, and a stetson hat stood before the communication console, pondering his future. So much was on the man's mind, so much he had seen. Behind him, in the hold of his CSV, was everything ranging from gold to quantum multiplexors to stranger devices. Finally, the man began to compose his message, and start on his new journey. The name's Cobalt Watsas, life long Junker an' scrapper... well... naw, ah've been at it for 'bout six months now. But ah've held true to the Junker beliefs and mah love of scrappin' and salvagin', but Ah've always yerned fer' more. After ah learned mah long lost brother was still alive, ah was inspired. If he can create a Cyborg army, surround himself with pretty Kusarian women, an' plot to take over the universe, then why can't I? Since 'then, ah've seen all kinds o' hardships, mah eyes were open. Hogosha goons an Farmers pilligin an rapin, squishies roamin' about and turnin' innocent folks' brains to mush, Zeeners makin' all kinds o' trouble... ...plus, ah don't got no dang money... Ah am willin' ta pledge mahself, mah CSV, and mah support to the Junker Congress! If ya'll want me to, ah can be sneaky, subtle, an' discreet. And ah would never be disloyal to the Junkers. Never have. Never will. But ah ain't got much else ta do. Mah only survivin' family is a megalomaniacal robot, most o' mah friends got somethin' wrong with 'em, ah got no money, an ah think someone put a bounty on mah head. An ah got no direction... Junker Congress Admissions - Pihe - 06-23-2009 -Incoming Encrypted Transmission- -Source: Silver_Prime- Greetings Junker Congressmen! This is Gerald Silver captain of the Silver_Prime and head of the Silver family. We've been living on this Salvage Frigate for 7 generations now, wandering in the Sirius system, enjoying the freedom, independence which this ship gave to me 'n my kin for decades. The world is a harsh, unforgiving place but so far we could handle anything that crossed our path. Still the recent attacks on the junkers made clear that it is time to act, not just for ourself but for the good of all junkers, since we can't rest while our brothers and sisters are victims to this aggression! Me and my crew thought that the best way to do this is to join forces with the Congress, of course in case you accept us, if not we'll try to do the best on our own. We can offer first and foremost the Silver_Prime's service anytime its needed, delivering supplies, supporting units, fighting our enemies... you name it! Also some of our bright young pilots are eager to fly with their own ships, once we've gathered the necessary money you can count on them as fighter/bomber escort or on scouting while the Silver_Prime is gathering scrap metal or otherwise occupied. They can be contacted anytime through the Silver_Prime, also we'll provide them the necessary credits they need for ammo and equipment, family comes first as always. I think we've robbed more of your time than we should already so without further twisting of the words, we'll leave this matter in the Congress' hands. I personally hope we're looking forward a mutual beneficial partnership. Best regards, Gerald Silver. -End transmission- .:j:. Junker Congress Admissions - Apex - 06-23-2009 Comm ID: Louis Cypher To: Junker Congress My esteemed brethren, I Louis Cypher head of the glorious Junker Cypher's family have long dredged thru the salvage and muck of the debris fields throughout all of Sirius. We have prevailed greatly in our wealth in the past and current present. At this time we would like to offer ourselves, our services and fortunes to aid the Junker congress in thier conquest for Power, Profitability, Security and Freedom. Let us be one Family and not a house divided in fragments. Let me hear your voice, are we together ? are we one.... Louis Cypher Helmsman of the Cypher Family Mission Statement: To provide security for all Junkers throughout Sirius, by creating an intelligence-gathering network, planting the seeds of political influence in all houses and independents, and empowering every Junker who flies a craft in space with the ability to persevere under the harshest conditions and opposition one could hope to face. To give meaning to the phrase, "They are a family...and they are fiercely protective of each other." //Edited a tad as it was pointed out my post was somewhat similar to anothers, tho I failed to even read his from the start, afterwards I did and must concur it did, tho the originality was my own, its funny how two people can come up with similiar postings, tho I do apologise for the redundantcy. .:j:. Junker Congress Admissions - Sasaki - 07-28-2009 MESSAGE BEGINS Comm ID: Skeff Lesir aboard the RustyDelight Target: .:j:. Congress Hello my fellow Junkers! Name is Skeff Lesir, I'm a Junker from Liberty where I, my wife, and our young daughter have been bouncing around for awhile, mostly staying away from the populated centers and exploring the vast scrap fields and natural beauty and phenomenon in Liberty. About ten years ago at the age of 19 I managed to obtain the worn out and beat up hull of a Pirate class transport, now considered home and named the RustyDelight. That was the first ship restoration project I got involved in, before that it was mostly minor projects. But over the years I've built her up and she has served us well in many tight situations. Now, with the latest engine and power core upgrades we've managed to pull together, we decided to get pull a few of our fellow Junkers in to help out on crewing the ship and started moving out further from Liberty on research, recovery, exploration and trade journeys. On one such recent journey I had the pleasure of meeting a Junker from the Congress, a Mr. Ritter flying with the ID .:j:.Ritter. We have been involved with local Junkers for awhile, but this was the first I'd heard of a real effort to unify our efforts across Sirius. I was very intrigued and asked to tag along with Mr. Ritter on one of his trade missions that would take us through several houses and edge world systems. It was a wonderful journey for all of us and it was a pleasure to get to know Mr. Ritter and learn from his knowledge of the outer reaches of Sirius. That journey came to an end, but I've kept in contact with Ritter, and after several lengthy discussions with my family and our crew we've decided to join in with our fellow Junkers in the Junker Congress if you will have us. It's time to stop being splintered and scattered. We own two ships currently, the transport RustyDelight where we live, as well as a Recycler class bomber with the ID Skeff.Lesir We eagerly look forward to your response. Farewell fellow Junkers! Lesir signing out. MESSAGE ENDS .:j:. Junker Congress Admissions - Marlowe221 - 07-28-2009 Congressmen (and women), I would like to offer my sponsorship for Skeff's admission to the Congress. I have found him to be a fine pilot, a quick and eager learner, and a Junker who would be a good reflection on the Congress and Junkers as a whole. Regards, .:j:.Ritter (//OOC - Good guy and good RPer) .:j:. Junker Congress Admissions - Gemini893 - 07-30-2009 Hola my Junker bretheren! I am Capt. Martin Esteban of the Fantasma and am looking for like minds to communicate with on my long journeys. I was born and raised on Planet Crete but figured out early that the Corsair life was not right for me. I struck out in a used freighter to make my fortune and have Christened several ships with the name Fantasma to date. I do so out of honor to my old ships, as I tow them into deep space and set them to self-destruct when I purchase a new ship. I do this to ensure secrets stay secret. I know the value of keeping secrets, as can be shown by my regular access to the Omicron Alpha system. I'm sure, if the Outcasts knew my planet of origin, I would be stripped of my landing privileges and my life in short order. The name of my ship, as you might ascertain, is because I don't always haul scrap metal. I stay well out of sight of lawfuls when my cargo isn't what they would like, and so I become a ghost in the background of space. Rarely seen or heard from. // Interesting...I've never worked up a background for my character beyond the name of the Captain before. This just rolled off the top of my head.
