Hello all, as you see, my name is Bob Moore, and I play under the character name "Nosferatu." I have a long history with Freelancer (and would love to hear from anyone here who remembers me from the old days) in that i spent hours playing on and administering on the old Eagle Utopia server under the same character name. I wound up running the server for several months for the server owners. Due to circumstances "beyond my control" (mostly physical due to heart problems) I gave up the game and maintaining the Eagle Utopia server.
I found this server by running onto Sargent Gunny's Youtube article. I find that i have what seems an unlimited number of questions about the server and play there. So far, I have had ... OK? ... luck in getting answers from other players.
FYI to anyone i engage on the server ... I never was worth a sh*t at PVP, but IT IS part of the game and i expect to be treated as any other player.

Yo I remember you from Eagle Utopia, That was the best Freelancer Server I've ever played on. Disco has had a few imports over from there (3MAJ) but it didn't work out too well, I'm not sure if any of the crew are still around. Discovery is very different to eagle Eagle Utopia, there's no player conquest of systems and anything interesting has to go through the staff story team so don't expect to be able to make much of an impact on your own or without years of playing the game.

Thanks for the warning (?) about play on the server, and thanks for the compliment/opinion about EU. I like to think I contributed a little to the server ... no, not fishing for compliments ...LOL

It was so long ago that I can't fully remember the names I used XD I use to fly with Rantari and I was Disciple in 3MAJ I think I went by the name Damien but yeah, I never played as Silverlight there. You were one of the old Admins weren't you? psure you contributed quite a lot.
