Transporting with a Freelancer ID is very lucrative - it's how I made my fortune and still do, as it's my main character. A beefed up Serenity-class with a cloaking device and a mk7 capital armor upgrade.
She's a beast, especially for less than legal cargo.

I am already on your path. I have my Serenity and am saving for the cloak and armour. Not so sure about that less than legal cargo thou.
