And all Her Majesty's men - Wolfs Ghost - 04-26-2009

Friday, April 24th 817 AS

He sat up quickly.

It was raining outside...and the thunder woke him. He sighed and moved out of bed.

"Cambridge...got to love this place." He muttered to himself, he looked over at the time and shook his head. "On duty here in a few minutes...this should be fun." He muttered again moving over to the cabinet and started to get dressed in his Uniform, He was unaware of what was going to happen today.

Twenty Minutes later, Derby's Flight Deck

Two pilots came rushing up to Austin stopping and saluting. "Sir! Glad to see you're back. How was Liberty?"

"Bloody annoying. What do you want chap?"
"Right, Sir. We got a new shipment of Ensigns before you left. One of which has been drafted to your fighter group. An Ashley Taylor."
"Really now? Hm. A Female in the group, sounds good."
"Heh, Aye sir. Want me to introduce you both?"
"No no, I'll be in space here shortly."
"Copy."

Austin shook his head as the two pilots quickly wandered off.

Three Hours into the Training Session

"Good job Ashley. Seems you graduated top of your class hm?" Austin said over the mic as the Ensign just finished off Rockwell.

A few minutes later after a rather long silence, Austin looked up from his console to see Ashley's ship heading right towards him. He flicked on the communications. "Ashley, you're about to hit me..." She pulled out at the last second and began firing random. He glanced up and saw her flying off in the distance, discharging her weapons.

"Rockwell, what the hell is she doing?" Austin whispered into the mic,
"No idea..." He replied back.
"Right, Ashley, Please do stop firing, you're not shooting at anything." Austin said again, watching as her ship turned into a sharp dive right for Rockwell. "Incoming." Austin said, muttering.

He watched as two volleys of Tachyon slammed into Rockwell's shielding. Rockwell sounded startled when it happened.

"Alright, Ashley you killed twenty Kusarian Fighters, you can stand down now.." He muttered lightly.

She swung around and flew off towards the station and started attacking it. "This isn't going to end well for her..." Austin said turning his ship about and watching, as she now turned towards the Harlow.

A few minutes later Austin watched her ship explode. That's when everything gone from decent to worse. After trying to explain to her while she sat in her escape pod she wasn't in Tau-31 and wasn't an Admiral of the Armed Forces. Austin tractor beamed her into his ships hold.

"Right, sir heading back now." He said, completely ignoring the muffed screams from his cargo bay. Before he was about to dock he heard a crash, and another shout. He turned around and opened up the Cargo bay door, pulling his pistol out from the holster.

He was standing face to face with the Ensign, who was pointing her pistol directly at him. He quickly raised his and aimed it at her. She reacted and pulled the trigger, the bullet whizzed past and hit the corner of the door.

"Drop the bloody Gun, Ensign!" Austin Snapped aiming his gun at her, not flinching. She didn't drop it but continued pointing the gun, about to pull the trigger again. "Drop the bloody, gun. Now." He demanded once more. She still didn't drop the gun, That's when he quickly pulled the trigger, pointing it away from her. The bullet hitting inside her escape pod.

"Drop the bloody, Pistol now. Or the next one is going into you." He said, again, once more.

She looked stunned then dropped the pistol. "Bloody hell I assumed you were one of them."

"You assumed wrong, Lass." Austin said walking close to her then bending down and picking up the pistols, then turning around and placing them in a compartment. He turned around to face her again. She was glaring. "Right, Ensign. Start acting like a pilot and stop screwing around will you." He said walking back over to her. "And next time don't bloody shoot me."

"I didn't mean to.." She said, looking down.
"Yeah, well what you didn't mean to do, you did anyways. I bloody hope your proud of yourself." He grumbled. "Your bloody parents would be ashamed of you." She noticed his twitch when he said 'parents'

"What, like yours?" She said with a grin.
He twitched again. "My parents are dead."
She laughed, "They couldn't live with some idiotic child like you, I take it."

"You have no business talking about my family. Ensign you are out of line." He mumbled clinching his fist.

"I'm out of line? You're just a bloody fool. Your family is dead and there's nothing you can do about it." Ashley said, replacing her grin with a small smile.

"The hell with you!" Austin said raising his fist and throwing the punch, he missed, on purpose. But she reacted quickly and grabbed his arm trying to swing him over her shoulder, she failed as he brought his knee up into her side. "Nice try" He said as she stumbled backwards

"You're going to have to come over here then." She moved slightly in a defensive stance, then started to move slowly towards the Cockpit. "Not today." He said moving quickly to intercept her, he threw another punch which she blocked, then she brought up her knee, he deflected it quickly. That's when he grabbed her uniformed forced her back behind him. He spun around quickly and took a defensive stance.

She glared and brought her hand up, waving her finger tauntingly, as if saying 'Bring it.' So, he brought it. He went in launched a punch, but faked it and when to sweeping her legs out from under her. She stumbled backwards, surprised slightly by the fake he did. She quickly glanced for the cockpit and broke out into a sprint, trying to get there.

He caught this moment as she lunged past him, He reached out his arm and caught her by the back of her uniform, spinning around quickly and wrapping his arms around her. Using her momentum he forced her and himself to spin towards the wall away from the cockpit. He kept them both balanced.

Ashley reached out with her legs and tried to push off the wall, but failed to. Due to the fact she was just out of reach. Noting this, Austin forced himself forwards and slammed her into the wall. That's when the Communications went off.

"Goodie, can you hear me?"
"Oi, Goodie come in....gah...must be sleeping...eh, wait...two people fighting? Haha."
"Let's shake it up a bit then."

Seconds later the ship shook, and Austin let go of her stumbling backwards. She spun around and was back in a defensive stance.

"Gooodieee! You there chap?!"

Austin glanced over at the headset dangling. In that small window she launched her attack. Rushing forwards, she brought her fist up into his gut, spun as he reacted and lurched forwards, then slammed her elbow into his back, and as a final move, she swung out her leg making him fall to the ground. He hit hard.

Before he could react fully she was ontop of him pinning him to the ground. He forced himself up, but failed. That's when he swung his leg back and tried kicking her, It worked. She rolled off of him just as he hit her, quickly stood up and raised her foot, aiming at his head. He rolled out of the way, mere second before her foot hit the foor.

Pushing himself up he glared at her. She spat, and noticed blood. Looking up and over at him, "You bastard." She didn't have time to react as he already launched his attack, he gained just enough speed to tackle her. Slamming her onto the ground. He brough his knee up quickly to block any further attacks and placed his hands on her shoulders. Looking directly at her.

"You bloody through!" He snapped

She stared at him, then spat in his face. He quickly turned to the side, having some respect, and spat on the ground next to her, then he raised his right fist in the arm and punched her.

"You bloody through?!" this time he yelled louder. She whinced and nodded.

Austin pushed himself off from her and stood up, then surprisingly sat down next to her. "Good..." He said panting lightly. She laid there for a few moments before pushing herself up in a last ditched effort on getting to the pistols. She stumbled forwards nearly making it to the cockpit, then fell and started crawling. Austin watched for moment then forced himself up and walked over to her as she reached her hand out. He placed her foot on her hand and pressed down.

Taking note again that this time she gave up he leaned on the wall near the door and slide down it. Taking a deep breath, then sighing.

And all Her Majesty's men - Wolfs Ghost - 05-03-2009

"That's it! That's bloody it! I surrender!" He shouted over the comms.
"What?"
"You heard me. I'm bloody surrendering. That's right, raising the white flag! Giving up! Take me to jail."
"...I don't believe you..."
"You don't have to. I'm insane, kill me or throw me in jail."
"...Fine, Meet at Freeport 6."

------------------------------

She opened her eyes quickly, breathing hard, she sat up and looked around. "Another dream about my brother...." She sighed lightly, "It's only a dream...it wasn't real." She mumbled lightly getting out of the bed and walking to the bathroom, getting ready to start the day.

30 minutes later, West Point Academy

Static came through loudly "This is......Le....a....Good...n...Reques.....ing back up. West---"

She cursed as she was forced to pull her ship closer to the station. "Blasted Rogues. Haven't heard of a fair fight have you!?" She shouted bringing her ship around and firing on a Gunboat which was hit by an EMP from the station. "Gah! Why did they attack one lone fighter with this many..." She grumbled pulling back as another Gunboat came into view.

"We're Sorry Lena, can't send any assistance at this time...You're on your own out there."

Came a voice over a secured channel. "Bloody hell, I am." She spun her ship around and targeted a new target that entered the battle, before the target could even give an engagement notice Lena opened up with all her weapons and fired a missile. The missile slammed into the Rogue ship, which exploded and went down. "Gah, that's what I get for not paying attention..." came a voice over system wide comms. Lena smiled until a heavy plasma shot flew past the Avenger's cockpit. "Bloody hell, will you leave me the hell alone!" she screamed yet again, no one could hear her.

That's when they pulled back. Against all odds she lived. She cut her engines and watched the enemy group withdrawl from West Point. "About...bloody time they left..." She muttered. Pulling her ship back to Manhattan orbit.

Planet Kyushu, Kyushu System, 0400 Hours

"Tell me. Mr. Goodmen, why did you surrender?" Said a man standing infront of him.

"I'm done with it. Go ahead and kill me now." Austin muttered, then spitting on the floor.

The man sighed, "Now, that wouldn't be fun will it, Gaijin?" He said walking around in a circle before stopping infront of him again.

"I have nothing else to bloody live for squinty. So you might as well kill me now. I'm just a Lieutenant." Austin said looking up, glaring, there was a trail of dried blood running from the left corner of his mouth to his chin.

"Oh but you do. You know military plans. Which is why you'll live..." The man said raising his left hand. He made a swift movement, back-handing Austin. Who flinched in pain then spat. "Do what you need to. Your not getting anything from me."

Thirteen Hours Later
Austin's Cell

"Sir, they've came to an agreement. Our Chujo for this Lieutenant."
"Miyagi is still alive? That indeed is surprising. Looks like the Bretonian people like you Mr. Goodmen."

Austin could only give a scowl.

"Well...We'll have the prisoner exchange later this week. I believe we can get more information out of him before hand." The man grinned. "Dismissed."

"Hai, Sir." Said the other man, who bowed and left quickly.

Prisoner Exchange -- 2300 Hours Galactic Measure Time

Franklin James sighed as he undocked his ship from Leeds. "Prisoner is on board. We're waiting for the Kusari prison vessel to show up." He said lightly.

"It's already here, We're waiting for your ship and the hostage. Let us proceed, Mr. James take the lead."

"Copy, all ships. This is the Merlin, form on me. We're heading into hell." He sighed once more and engaged his cruise drive, reaching the Tradelane he didn't dock with it and kept going. The fighters caught up. Half way down the lane he cut his engines quickly, noticing a large group of Kusari ships on his scanners. "Right, this is it chaps." He said over secured communications.

"All ships, take a defensive position. We're making sure this goes smoothly without a hitch." Came the voice of a Kusarian commander on the prison ship.

"Captain. This is Franklin James, Captain of the Merlin. We'll be doing the exchange through Air Lock Two." He said pulling his ship up towards the Kusarian destroyer. an Air Lock bridge extended out from the Merlin and connected with the Kusarian ship's.

James watched as the doors opened his pistol in the holster at his side. The Kusari prisoner, John Miyagi, behind him, in handcuffs.

The doors opened. Two Samurai's walked in, followed by a third handcuffed man, who was dragged in, and thrown on the floor. Not wearing any bindings. "There's your pathetic Lieutenant." One of the Samurai's said.

James shook his head and pulled out the keys. "There will be none of that on my ship. I'm just a civilian. Mind you." he said as Miyagi stepped forwards towards the Samurai's. James took the keys and unlocked the cuffs on Miyagi. "There's your Commander." He said lightly. "Now let's hope this damned war will be over with so I can go back to my family..."

"Until your queen is dead..." The other Samurai said, turning around and escorting Miyagi back to the ship. Leaving James and the first Samurai.

"Tell me. Kusarian's don't normally torture these men and women. Why is he injuried?" James said looking at the man laying on the ground then back up at the Samurai.

"Rest assure, it wasn't done by the us." the Samurai bowed lightly. "Sayonara." He said before exiting.

The Airlock doors slid shut and James helped the man to his feet. "Austin, you alright?" James said, his voice unchanged.

Austin nodded, his voice horsed. "Never....again will I do something that stupid..."

James smiled and returned to the controls of his ship. "Right, prisoner exchange complete. I'm getting my ship out of this hellhole." he forced the rather large transport to turn about and enter the tradelane.

"It was part of your sisters doing. You know." James said quietly.
"My...sister is alive?"
James nodded. "You'll see her after the fight....However, you are going right to the medical bay. You look pretty torn up..." James said.

"Merlin, is Lieutenant Goodmen on board?"
"Indeed he is. Permission to moor."
"Granted, Medical teams are on standby."
"Ah alright. Good good. He looks pretty beat."
"Heh, well...what can you expect he's a hero. He should be lucky he lived."
"That is true..."

Austin sighed lightly and sat up against a wall. It wasn't luck...it never is. It can't be luck. He thought closing his eyes.

Planet New London, Mandalorian Recruitment Centre, Sunday May 3rd.
1030 AM Eastern New London Time (ENLT)

Two people enter the Mandalorian offices, one was in crutches, the other perfectly fine.

"You sure about this? I can always talk with the Admiral to see if you want to get into the Armed Forces." Austin said, moving slowly with his sister to the counter.

"Yeah, made up my mind. Besides I'll be nearby most likely." She said smiling lightly. "Why exactly did you come with me?"

"Erm...I'm off-duty." He muttered leaning on his crutches. "I'll be over...somewhere out of your way." He said turning and wandering off to the lounge.

Lena nodded then turned back to the desk and found it empty, but saw an Application sitting there that wasn't there before. She pulled out a pen and began filling the Application out.

Once the Application was filled out she nodded and placed the application in the inbox on the counter, then returned the pen to her pocket. She turned around and headed out, stopping to get her brother. "Alright that's finished." She said.

"Oh good, let's get going. These people always do freak me out.." He smiled forcing himself out of the chair.

"Where do you want to go? Seeing how I'm forced to care for you right now."
"How about the Knight Bar and Grill?" Austin said quickly.
"The Officers club? You know I won't be able to enter." she smiled lightly.

"So after all these years. You're still alive? Lovely isn't it." Austin said wincing slightly.

"Can ask the same for you. What made you decide not to kill yourself?"
"Eh, I wanted to be a Knight..." He mumbled
"After our parents died. You...of all people, who thought this House was utter crap. Wanted to be a Knight?"
"Times change...I guess."
"Either that or it was luck." She smiled.

"Nothing is luck anymore for me." He mumbled and stopped.

She stopped a few feet away and looked at him. "Care to explain?"

He sighed, "Ever since I found out the Britannia was destroyed in New York by terrorists. I haven't been the same. It seems. I mean, when I first joined the Armed Forces they wanted me to escort people. I hate escorting people. The moment I heard of an escort party heading to New York, I knew I had to jump and act upon it." He paused for a moment. "On the way back, the Prime Minister told me that he served in the Armed Forces himself, he never finished that story....our tradelane was disrupted and long behold was a Corsair bomber. I engaged without thinking." He paused once more and sighed.

"It's like, something told me to shout over my communications. I shouted and before I knew it, I went in guns blazing. I saw a flash and flicker of the shields on the Prime Ministers ship. I told him that I would give my life just for him to make it out of there. His crew managed to get him to safety. Then I was forced into full frontal combat with the Corsair ship." He shook his head, and lowered his voice. "I never wanted to be a hero."

Lena smiled lightly. "Heroes are born everyday."

Austin shook his head again. "Heroes have destinies. I don't have any destiny. I'm just a farm boy from Cambridge, who lost his parents." He clinched his fists tighter on the handles of the crutches. "Now look at me. Captured once, rescued by my wingman, after getting shot in the arm. Out of service for a week. Become an a national hero over night by saving the Prime Minister, received the Carina Cross, which only one other person has in the entire Armed Forces. Beat up by a female ensign, after being asked what's the most dearest thing in the universe to me. Then surrendering, and being saved by the Prime Minister himself."

"Consider the debt paid." She said looking up at the sky.

"The debt isn't paid. It just means I owe him my life, and he owes me his. That's all it means." Austin grumbled.

"Then, if none of this is luck. What do you think it is?" Lena replied, her eyes watching the ships flying over head.

"I'm not sure...nothing seems clear to me at the moment." He sighed. "The very nature of things is screwed up." Lena looked at him. "Comeon now, stop acting like that. Mother would of said you do have a destiny if she heard what you just said."

"Then what is it." He snapped looking up at her. Lena only shrugged and began to walk away.

He sighed as he watched his sister walk off in the distance. He moved himself over to the wall and leaned on it. "Great....now it'll be another fourteen years before I ever see her again."

He looked up and saw one of the TV-Billboards flash and a reporter came on.

"It's been confirmed. Lieutenant Austin Goodmen, has been successfully exchanged for a Kusari commander captured not less then three weeks ago. The Armed Forces wish not to comment on the transaction. What we do know is that fighting broke out shortly after the exchange. It is unsure onto which side fired the first shot."

Some people believe it's all fake.
Some believe it's real.
Conspiracy theories are there for certain reasons.
To keeps those unaware paranoid.
And those not, wondering.

Some conspiracies are in place by the Governments to protect their citizens, such as the one surrounding Zone-21.

Others, are made up by the one viewing, such as Kusari winning this war.

Then you have the ones that are made up by the one viewing, and has been in place by the Government. Such as the Bretonian Terrorital Army.

--- Austin Goodmen, Private Memoirs

And all Her Majesty's men - Wolfs Ghost - 05-20-2009

Austin looked up from what he was working on, staring at the screen, at first blinking hard to clear his vision. He pushed himself out from under the fighter and stood up walking over the the screen, still staring at it.

The same image was being replayed throughout Bretonia, The Immortal Hunter was back. Austin dropped the cloth he was using to clean his hands from the grease. He brought his fist up and landed it squarely into the screen, damaging it slightly.

"Bloody hell! No bloody way is that chap back! I watched the bloody explosion! I even took a bloody still-shot of it!" He shouted, other pilots started to crowd around mumbling.

"...This is bloody nonsense.." One of the lads said, standing with his arms crossed.
"Three Hundred and Six men died on that battleship..." Another said.

Austin stood there shaking with rage rather then sadness. "It's about bloody time someone gets something done with that lad. How long do we have to live dealing with not only the Kusari Dragon breathing down our necks, Those undereducated Corsair bulls in Cambridge blowing things up, and this bloody mad-man."

He slammed his fist into his palm. "This needs to bloody end! I will personally see to it that this lad is dead! Even if it costs me my life. I would gladly become a martyr for the Queen and Her Majesty's people." It seemed he was giving a heroic speech, for the crowd grew bigger, Civilian engineers as well as Armed Forces and Police Engineers where crowding around, Austin in the middle.

"Those, three hundred and six men that died today to that bloody mad-man will get avenged, this I promise them."

"Your words are nothing more then words Mr. Goodmen." A familiar voice came out from the crowd. Some of the crowd stepped to the side, reveiling a young man, he was carrying a black suit-case, wore a business suit and had, black sun-glasses on.

"Who the bloody hell are you?" Austin said tensing up just a little bit.

"Oh, hell chap you know who I am." The young man, about a three years younger then Austin, took off his glasses smiling.

"Butler?" He stuttered at first. "Class 291, Section 2...The bloody chap that saved my ass three times in different scenarios, and was shipped off the very next month to Intelligence?!"

The young man smiled. "That is indeed true. Seems you remember me well. You've also seemed to change." Aaron grinned lightly approaching Austin. The crowd started to disperse

"What brought you here from the Intelligence Corps?" Austin said slightly.

"Honestly, chap. I have no bloody clue." He said with a light smile. "Thought it was about time to show my face. After all, it seems this...insane lad we've got running around is just that, insane. Besides, you lad need my help, you just don't realize it yet."

"Oh please don't start with this destiny crap." Austin said kneeling down to pick up the rag he dropped.

"Haha. Rather actually here for one reason...Let's get to work shall we?" He said setting down the suit-case on a cleared off desk.

Austin walked onto the flight deck of the Worcester, a Bretonian Dunkirk under the command of Fleet Admiral, Katie Kerr. He as walked carefully, and proudly across the flight deck. He past his Templar, one of the newest birds in the fleet.

"Officer on the deck!" Someone from across the flight deck shouted, the entire deck popped to attention. Austin stopped wondering if they were calling the room to attention for him. Then he realized the Fleet Admiral herself was walking by.

"As you were." She said calmly, she gave a slight nod to Austin. "Sub Lieutenant." She said walking away to the elevator to head to the bridge.

Austin only shook his head as the flight deck continued it's normal day-to-day operations. It was a good week, though the war broke out and the Kusari were in leeds, No one seemed to be shooting. At least not anymore, he hoped.

This entire month has been nothing but quiet, just the way he liked it.

And all Her Majesty's men - Wolfs Ghost - 05-26-2009

Space, empty, and quiet.....or was it?

"This is foxtrot-sixteen, coming in hot. I repeat coming in hot." Streaks of hot plasma, and neutrons flew past the heavily damaged Templar, it took left turn.

Another Templar sat three clicks out, all systems but life support were off, quietly watching as the two Kusari ships chase the heavily damaged Templar. "Come on...." the damaged Templar took a sharp right, plasma just missing it. "Come on...."

Hot plasma continued to streak by the damaged Templar. Neutron struck the shielding.

The damaged Templar shot past the Templar that was offline, along with the two Kusari ships. The offline Templar roared to life, along with a wing.
"∥何か∥ ? あなたはこれを読んでいるか?" One of the Kusarians said.
"What the? Are you reading this?"

"はい、私は同様にそれを見ました。.." Said the other Kusarian
"Yes, I saw it as well..."

The Kusari ships broke their engagement and turned their fighters about ignoring the smoking Templar still heading towards the Derby. "Who might you be?" One of the Kusarians said.

"I'm Austin Goodmen, lad. And you...are completely...out numbered and out gunned, oh might I also say...Out smarted?" Austin was smiling behind helmet he wore. "All ships, Carina, Regina, Imperatix! Weapons Free!"

"What? They're...Gah! Engage at will!" the lead Kusarian shouted. The Chimera's both broke out from a dead stop, trying to flank the sides of Bretonian wing. The Bretonian wing, lead by Lieutenant Goodmen opened up with Tachyon bursts. Hitting the shieldings of the Kusari vessels............

**

"Good day sir, could you patch me to Admiral Kerr?"
"Erhm, Sorry chap. As of this moment, I'm the only one to talk to."
"Ah, Right...We need a deployment of Armed Forces at Douglas station. It's underattack by a Corsair battleship."
"Battleship you say?" His Templar flew through the Cambridge Jumphole.
"Aye, they could use some help."
"Copy, Tell them I'm enroute now..."

Austin switched off the communications. A few minutes later he was in Omega-3. Hitting cruise he made his ship head straight to Douglas station, which was apparently, from Intel, was currently underattack and needed assistance. He arrived at the station to find it...surprisingly in one piece and unharmed. Switching the communications back on he started talking.

"Sir. Douglas station seems alright, can I get the actual coordinates of the battle?"
"Sector C-D 2-3."
"Aye, thank you, Enroute as we speak."

He switched off the communications once again. "Bloody hell.." He said with a light sigh as he swung his ship around and headed to the newly updated coordinates. Upon arrival he could see the distance explosion of bombers slamming anti-matter into the battleships shielding, then hull. In his lone Templar he decided it was best to try and help in any way he could.

"Carina! Regina! Imperatix!" He shouted over the local channel, and sent his ship diving straight into the enemy fire. Shield Failure, the computer buzzed. His Tachyon shots began hitting the hull of the enemy battleship as the bombers continued to rain mini-razors and anti-matter on it. Doing minimal damage but enough to scare any sane pirate.

His ship was hit hard. Which sent him spinning out of control for a few minutes, he recovered with his thrusters, turning about for a third run, going right into the enemy fire once more. After about ten runs his nano bots were spent, along his shield batteries. His ships hull was almost gone, the Templar sparking, anymore hits and he'll be in his lifepod.

After a few more minutes his Templar exploded. Just before his ship exploded, he pulled out in his lifepod.

"I think I need to invest in a bomber...." He mumbled, then start laughing as the pod drifted towards Freeport One.

**
"Thats one lads! Keep it up! One more eh?" He said, his voice filled enthusiasm. He turned the ship about and targeted the last Kusari vessel. Which just entered cruise. "Heh...Alright lads. He's fleeing."

Manchester System, Newgate Prison Station -- Block 30

Three armed guards escorted him to his cell.

One of them turned him around and ripped the Carina's Cross off his chest. The Guard then proceeded to throw it down the hall. A second guard raised his fist and jammed it into Austin's gut forcing him to double over in pain. The last guard took the butt of the rifle and slammed it down into the back of Austin's head, making him pass out and hit the ground hard. Then they proceeded to drag him into the cell and left him face down on the ground.

"That'll bloody teach him not to do what he did." The third guard said shutting the cell doors and locking them.
"And they call him a hero? Pathetic...really pathetic." The second guard said.
The first guard turned and spat in Austins general direction. "He has no idea what he's apparently done."

Magellan System, Mactan Base...

Terry Scott sat quietly listening to the comms. "Austin...the bloody hell have you done?" He mumbled, he was the first one to hear about what had happened, as far as he knew. He was monitoring the comms for quiet sometime, atleast, Austin's.

"Placed under arrest. That is indeed bad." He mumbled once more, lightly. "Sorry my friend. I can't help with this one. You'll have to deal with it. However..." He paused taking in a deep breath. "I believe I'm ready to serve Her Majesty's against the coming storm..."

Unknown System, The Shrine...

It seems likely. That I was set up by someone. We shall see how this begins, and how it ends. Someone will be dying...That I can assure. He leaned back smiling lightly. Indeed, someone will die.

Manchester System, Newgate Prison Station -- Front Offices...

A rather young looking man approaches the front counter smiling lightly. "Good day, ma'am. I'm here to see the lad you just brought in last night."

The lady looked up from the desk and stared at the young man wearing a business suit. "Which one, We've brought plenty in." She said leaning forwards smiling. The man nodded, "Aye, I would like to see Lieutenant Goodmen."

She sighed lightly, then nodded. "Name, sir?"

The man didn't hesitate, "The names Jason Cornwill." He was lying, of course, but hid it well. "Jason Cornwill, what is your relation to Lieutenant Goodmen?" She asked politely typing in his name on the computer. "Cousin twice removed." He replied back rather quickly. "Hmm, alright. Do you have any criminal records?" She stared at the screen before looking up at him, he shook his head.

"Right, he'll be moved to a meeting room."

The man nodded and headed off to the meeting room where he sat and waited.

Newgate Prison Station -- Cell Block 30, Room 63...

Austin sat perfectally still, eyes open, reliving the moments of the past few days. When the door suddenly opened. He glazed up to see a Guard waving his hand. "You have a visitor." He said. "Get your ass up and lets get going."

Austin nodded and stood up walking towards the man. Once out of the cell the heavy doors slid shut behind him, He proceeded infront of the Guard. On his way out he paused for a brief moment and knelt down. He picked up the Carina's Cross, he then placed it in his pocket. Which the guard saw but did nothing, nor said anything.

Newgate Prison Station -- Meeting Room...

Austin walked into the brightly lit room, squinting his eyes he could make out a human figure standing with his back turned. "Lieutenant Austin Rodney Goodmen." The man said looking into the two-way mirror.

"Who are you?" Austin blinked, trying to adjust his eyes to the light. "The names Jason Cornwill. Military Intelligence Section Five." Once again the man lied, staring at the two-way mirror.

"And what does MI5 want with me?" Austin mumbled finally his eyes adjusted to the light. "I know what I've done wrong. I even admitted it." The man turned around his eyes shaded by sun-glasses. He walked over to Goodmen and leaned forwards whispering into his ear.

"You will continue to stay on this station. You will receive messages from people. You will be hated." The man said in a whisper loud enough for Goodmen to hear. "All in all, you will be tried with treason, your wings will be taken away, and most likely serve on this station for quite sometime." The man backed off and smiled lightly. "Until then, Mr. Goodmen." The man nodded and turned, walking out of the room.

The guard came back and pulled Austin out of the meeting room and led him back to his cell. The guard pushed Austin back into the cell, after opening the door, then slammed the door shut right behind him. "I hope that man gave you good information." The guard said turning and walking away.
