Junkers.... - Linkus - 03-25-2009 Junkers control the black market. The lawfuls know this. Junkers shooting lawfuls/traders/smugglers causes uproar. Lawfuls trample over the Junkers. Junkers all die. So er..no to the above idea. While yes you could stop a lone smuggler in some remote area like Benjamin said, the Junkers tend not to pirate as much as be the middle man. They make huge money being the middle man and as such, being the pirate carries far more risks. Overall, Junkers try to stay neutral in Sirius. Blasting anyone, except in self defense of your ship or other junker ships, will jeapradise that. Junkers.... - Cosmos - 03-25-2009 you will NOT attack any trading vessel in ur cruiser apart from NPCs also attack fighters in you're cruiser is considered bad form which will get you blown up. lastly: Please dont be a LOLWUTer. Junkers.... - Dragon - 03-25-2009 Tell me does corvo cruser is so awsome? its wakest cruser (destroyer) in the FL its primary purpuse is to show off the power (ok i`am quite skilled to damage a BC) well even best smugler finaly get cath by law then even corvo can try to fight back and secure eskape of yours traders that you try to protect... hmm how about hit smuglers with bomber? thenks for help everyone! I`am happy that we can talk... and about those bh? I can blast them or not? Junkers.... - Derkylos - 03-25-2009 One would like to know what response should be taken when a Junker (guard) IDed cruiser encounters a Hogosha in a Big Dragon (or whatever it's called now). Is the Hogosha considered a "trader" or a "hostile"? Junkers.... - Benjamin - 03-25-2009 There are no bounties on junkers (except in kusari, where BH can't go) so BH shouldn't be attacking you. Not really a fan of BH enforcing the blockage, but I don't know if its cool or not. If one is attacking you, I guess you can fire back. But really, you shouldn't be getting in that many fights. My junker characters have died as many times to ramming planets while afk as they have to other players. Junkers.... - Dragon - 03-25-2009 " you will NOT attack any trading vessel in ur cruiser apart from NPCs also attack fighters in you're cruiser is considered bad form which will get you blown up. lastly: Please dont be a LOLWUTer. " no i will not pirate in cruser NO WAY! But if trader will use obscene words i will make him run... but fighter? well i have benn engageed by some aritistian alinace fighter in kusari (I`ve tryed to fly in low profile) but he came up and he started to talk like litle upset boy :D well I`ve chased him for bit and give up to proteckt my junker trader.... Another time we was targetet by GB with tryed to pirate us.. poor fella... (why all always those palyers use "bad worlds" to make him more "uber" and show that you are something worse?) Led`s clear things I`am not killer in first place if my enemy is on the run I do not chase him (if he is back it`s his problem) Junkers.... - crimecities - 03-25-2009 Here is the basic summary of Junker's Congress role-play: 1. We are an intelligence network and a smuggling ring fronted by a salvage op. Most of our activities will be towards one of those 3 goals. 2. We don't attack legit trade, even if it is a hogosha doing the trade. We do, however, pirate any non-junker smuggler we come across. Independant miner mining our scrap fields? Make them pay us for mining rights. Non-faction smuggler passing by? Shake them down for insurance money. "Bad thing happens to those who don't take out insurance policies". Basically go after those with no legal recourse. 3. We don't set up blockades, and we do piracy discreetly. If there is a LN in bering, and we encounter Republican Shipping moving stuff across the border, we let the LN handle it. 4. We use our own ships, 'generic' ships like the crow, and the Zoner Gunboat. We have enough good ships to choose from to not need to use other faction's tech. We also do not need anything bigger then a gunboat, transport, or salvage frigate, given the nature of our operations 5. Last but not least, stay off the radar of lawfuls when doing illegal activities, and be noticed when doing legal activities. If you get caught, pay the fine, or try to bribe the person who caught you. Remember, as an indie you have more freedom then player groups do, but the above guidelines will keep you out of trouble while still giving opportunities for piracy and the like. Junkers.... - Quorg - 03-25-2009 In terms of Rules of Engagement, you CANNOT attack a trader or smuggler in a transport ship if you are flying a cruiser, no matter what faction they're in unless you are defending your Guard System. If someone uses obscene language, report it; don't go vigilante on him. You absolutely can pirate traders and smugglers if you are in a gunboat, bomber, or fighter and it's within your RP. And for independent Junkers, it's certainly within RP to pirate most factions as well as independent smugglers and traders. Is the Hogosha considered a "trader" or a "hostile"? A trader. You do NOT attack trade ships in anything bigger than a gunboat. No exceptions whatsoever. As a Junker I've gotten into my good share of fights. You just have to know where to find the right sort of trouble. A Junker Cruiser wrecking the place is a bad idea in any way, shape or form though. We had a couple cruisers in the Congress, and got rid of most (maybe all) of them when it became clear there was just no use for the things considering what we do. It also sets a bad example for every other Junker out there. About Junkers and piracy: we do pirate. The fact that people don't hear much about it is testament to how rarely we do it, and how subtly it's done when we do. Junkers.... - Dragon - 03-27-2009 Thank you all for info and feed about Junkers... I will think about every thing you said. But sorry i will not give up my tiny Corvo Explorer.. I understand there is no reason to wreck all over the place in cruser and i will not make "truble". We all have difrent styles of play: some one likes to fly bomber and he is good at it, somone else fightl like demon in GB, I`am most skiled in Cruser. (why i fly this one? becouse its not easy to fly and fight in thise one but beating something with have more turets give me real fun) I think twice before open fire to enyone who will try to push me arund. I understand that giving wrong exsamle to another Junkers is bad thing and I will try become more trader guardian then criminal. If I destroy some players (when all oter forms of diplomacy will fail) from house navy or bh i think that deed can not talk I will fade like shadow from that place. Junkers if atack they are fast and try to hit and run before some one figure out what`s going on. I will try to orginise some raids on Hogosha (why not?) since we are oponents. Remeber to all this game not real life we are on this server for fun. |
