Mr. Blackwood.

You know, I never thought about the fact that the station doesn't have the means to construct cruisers. I suppose the lack of dry docks would indicate that it could be problematic trying to construct one here, yes. Although, I knew my move had everything to do with that hole in the wall. Let's just say I felt like the place needed more windows, or doors in this case. I am sorry that you don't feel the same way.

If it makes you feel any better about it, since I won't get to shoot at the prisoners, we have been taking bets on how far we think they will get toward the ship before they, well, pass away. The closest so far was about 5 steps out the air lock into the hanger by one Mary Sue. I'm making a fortune here, seems these guys don't understand that humans can't survive in a vacuum. Don't worry though, I'm being a good girl and they are all getting a free science lesson as I take their money. When gravity is restored and you let the bodies hit the floor - just remember, its not my fault.

I have one more run to go before I can leave, the shuttle pilot wanted to place his bets and Marcus McGalliaface is the last of those who tried to escape earlier. Its only fair he gets a second chance too, no? Once the bets have been placed and the last freedom run done, I will be on my way. However, I suppose I should ask, what coffee do you have available there? If you say instant, I am afraid I will be taking a detour to the nearest place that sells anything that tastes better than that dirt water.

The only other question I suppose I have is will I be able to continue on with my other project while on Torshavn? As you know, my research into Nox is of the upmost importance to me, and I feel it could be somewhat useful to you too.

Ms.D’Aramitz,

What kind of coffee? Do you forget who we were once Allies with? We didn't burn everything Cretan, we kept their coffee why burn the best coffee in all of Sirius?? While we will never have the supply to actually market the stuff, we have enough for personal consumption. Also god no, we roast our beans that we grow here in The Gardens as they are needed. I don't even think we have a supply of Synth Instant Coffee™ on the station come to think of it.

On to the actual topics at hand however,

I guess you wouldn't be aware of Torshavn, it has become my headquarters and the center of power for Nemesis. While traditionally Islay would be the center of power, its location near Enclave leads me to be a bit concerned for its longevity. While it has served us well thus far, I am not very confident the Enclave haven't discovered it and, if they have, how long we would have realistically before it is assaulted in a meaningful capacity. As a result of this centralizing of power here, I have poured a lot of resources into this station's tools and equipment most, if not all, top of the line from Samura Industries. I think that you will find everything you need to continue any research projects here. Furthermore, our location near The Cambridge Line makes us an excellent location to "Recruit" "Willing Volunteers". Other than that, Torshavn is a common stop on the Nox Trade on it's way to Rheinland, so I am sure you will be able to get a good supply of the stuff for your research.

Come meet me in the Hanging Gardens when you get here, we have a lot to discuss.

Mr. Blackwood,

I would have been there a week ago, from yesterday, if you told me about this coffee earlier. Do I need to work on my time machine to make sure I get decent coffee? Because the stuff I have been drinking is worse than a very average French roast. But on the topic of my time machine, don't get too excited yet. There is no guarantee it works..... mostly because it doesn't. Best case, the vibrations at a molecular level will cause spontaneous combustion and instantaneous death. Which I suppose is a useful machine to have on its own, really. Don't ask what the worst case is, it isn't pretty. Trust me.

I was unaware of the existence of Torshavn, or Islay. I haven't had the grand tour yet. However, being that Torshavn is so important, I'll try keep the shooting out side. Or at least aim out a preexisting open door somewhere. Renovations are frowned upon, I've learned that already.

My gear is ready to go, I will be there in as long as it takes. Oh By the way, the shuttle pilot lost the bet too. Science is a wonderful thing.

Ms.D’Aramitz,

Well, if the "Time Machine" kills people, would that not still be a "Time" Machine? Only instead of time travel, it simply finds the "Time" for the occupant and rapidly moves them to that time? That aside, I do apologize for the bad coffee, we do ship some coffee from Torshavn to the outer bases from time to time to help raise moral of those working there. Seems you must have missed the last shipment to Kirkwall. Rest assured you will not have to drink that unpleasant Synth Instant Coffee™ anymore.

Not frowned upon per se....just a bit more expensive then I am fond of doing regularly, so yeah just keep the shots pointed in the direction of the Ice field and I think everything will go fine. Sound good?

We will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Mr. Blackwood,

You.... are not wrong about the "time" machine. Perhaps I am onto something here and should patent this before someone else accidentally makes one and thinks they were the first. I would be more than happy to gift it to the cause. For the moment I have just been using it to reheat my coffee. It is also very effective for this use, just if you were wondering.

As for the coffee shipment, the morale was admittedly higher when I first got there, and the coffee was considerably better. I just assumed as the people because more sour, it rubbed off on the coffee beans. I didn't realise it actualy went from glorious fresh grown stuff to coffee flavoured, barely caffeinated granules.

The flight over is particularly uneventful, as expected. Oh, and don't stress, I have hands free in my ship. Seems Fred the freelancer really hooked me up. However, I am getting hungry. I believe it is lunch time, or at least time for a snack. The guys on the station were talking about an abundance of food on Torshavn. Something about a glorious garden? I will say there is one thing I miss from Gallia. Have you got any grapes?

Ms.D’Aramitz,

While we have recently begun cultivating grapes we have been cultivating for a while since they have a bit more use in culinary arts. The Gardens have a two pronged use, they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, I'd argue one of my greatest achievements since the Nemesis Movement began. I like to think of it as the Gaians own little piece of Paradise in space. Through a combination of millions of light arrays and complex computers and a state of the art climate control system we day and night cycle in the Gardens based on the cycle's on old Earth as well as our own micro climate of seasons. I should note, the Seasons only change in the common area while the food production section is strictly controlled for maximum efficiency. In case you were concerned about an all vegetarian diet, we do have some wealthy donors who sometimes "Lose" shipments of fresh meats from Cambridge.

That's a shame about the coffee situation on Kirkwall, I'll have to arrange for another shipment to head there way, they are doing good work out there being one of the two main front lines against the Enclave the other being Islay.

On the topic of the "Time" Machine, as fun as it might be to have a machine like that it might be somewhat impractical in reality. That being said, I had a moment to read over your logs you sent and I have to say, this is some fascinating stuff and I would love to hear more about your ideas behind this. Mainly, do you think it would be profitable to attempt to produce these technologies?

Mr. Blackwood,

I am impressed. While I had heard the stories of the gardens from the people before I left Kirkwall, I never expected them to be a sophisticated as you have them here. It is an impressive feat, and I have seen many fail in their attempts at producing something even remotely similar. Although I will admit, I am pleased to hear about the lost shipments from Cambridge. While I did miss the grapes, I would not turn down a burger. However, on the topic of Kirkwall... I would suggest getting the coffee situation sorted there. Especially for the engineers needing to pull some over time for those repairs. Please do pass on my apologies for that little hypothetical incident.

Producing these technologies will only be as practical as what you intend to use them for. If you intend to shake some Enclave pilots apart at a molecular level, and you have a number of them to dismantle, then it will absolutely be worth it. If you find you lack pilots, it really is very effective in reheating drinks. I do suggest you try it one day, just don't keep the mug in too long - it does have the tendency to explode. As for the hand cannons, big guns always have a purpose, maybe not while you are free floating around in the void of space, but that aside, I don't see why I couldn't produce them, on the condition you never refer to me as a boom-stick monkey. I am considerably more educated than those who play with gunpowder for a living.

Name your poison, Mr. Blackwood. What is it you desire.

Ms.D’Aramitz,

I perish the thought of calling you a "boomstick monkey", you are significantly more then that. So i question, which do you prefer? Doctor D'Aramitz? Or Professor D'Aramitz? Or maybe something more in your native tongue? Obviously if you will have offices here we will need some way to noting your door. Do let me know so we can get that sorted sooner rather than later. Furthermore,I am glad you are enjoying yourself, while I would like to claim responsibility for this marvel of engineering the truth is it was the combined effort of of all members of the Gaian movement. This is supposed to be a sanctuary in space, where you can come to get away from the troubles just outside the airlock

As for the more pressing matters your "Drug Releasing Implants" are certainly on the top of my curiosity list, seconded only by the weapons project that brought you here in the first place. I wonder if it could be used in a way to convince "willing participants" into giving information? In a less questionable vein, pun intended, do you think these could be produced in a method that they could be marketed?

One last note, I do hope you enjoy the view in your new Lab, it overlooks the N|-Juniper being constructed. Figured it best if you could oversee the construction yourself.
