A long time ago (about 9 years) people could go to Conn via a jump hole. The only problem with this was the JH was situated in New York. This meant that anyone who wanted to go there had to travel to NY. The added problem was that a lot of Factions weren't welcome in NY and so you had the added problem of people ooRP saying they weren't 'inRP' and were just heading there. Same problem when they wanted to leave.

So, the System we have now was implemented. You can now go to Conn from anywhere in the Game, as long as you are docked on a NPC Base. You can fight there until your heart is contented.

As for getting stuck in Conn, there have been 141 recorded instances (ie posted in this Thread: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=81037 ) in those 9 years. The System works well. So, your instance of getting 'stuck' was one of those rare occurrences.

If you do either of those in Conn you will not be able to return to your last docked location as the ships is effectively new and has never been outside Conn as far as Hook is concerned. There is no fix for this.

Note: If you move your character back to the account it originally was on and then /return, it will be moved back to the last base. It can be then moved again. If you have bought a ship which is on connecticut, simply send it back to the person so they can move it back. This won't fix renameme problems. (With thanks to spazzy for this).

If you buy a ship in Conn there will be no charge for this service, if however you ignore this message and use either of the two listed commands in Conn a fee of 15 million credits will be levied against your accounts. The Admin beer fund is getting low again.

Do not post here if your ship is NOT stuck in Conn. If you do a fee may be levied at our discretion.

I must admit, I have never checked to see if anyone has done any of the things listed 'not to do', before sending ships back to the Game.

So, I would suggest, if you want to 'train/fight' use Conn, it is what it is there for (mainly).

As for your proposed 'one system' where would you suggest that it is put and how would people get there?
