Subject: Distribution of Shigeakiki; Possible Violation of the Treaty

While patrolling the Neutral Zone (Tau-23), I encountered a member of the Golden Chrysanthemums operating a Starflier model civilian vessel with suspicious cargo on board. Unlike the standard pattern of behaviour, this time the Chrysanthemum acted in a friendly, courteous manner that raised suspicion, given all our previous run-ins with this criminal group.

As a consequence of a brief conversation recorded on the ship's recorder, I managed to get one bottle of the drink, previously given to us by members of the Unione Corse, for further examination, after which I bade a peaceful farewell to the Chrysanthemum member to avoid suspicion on the part of the latter.

During the conversation a possible breach of the Treaty of Rishiri by someone in the Gallic Navy was mentioned, requiring the attention of the Security Bureau and "re-education" of the offender to avoid a diplomatic scandal. There was little useful information about the case: as well as me, this soldier accepted a "gift" of one bottle of drink, all of which took place off Planet Harris. It is likely that this pilot may have visited one of the science stations, following protocol, or consumed the drug herself. The possibility of the cargo being destroyed or the pilot dying en route should not be ruled out.

On my way from the Neutral Zone to Gallic Space, I met an IMG pilot who was concerned about my presence in the sector. The only reason for mentioning him was evidence of me transporting the Chrysanthemum drug, though I doubt he realised what it was.

On arrival at Melun, the cargo was handed over to the research chemists.

While patrolling the debris field in Languedoc, I received a message from EFL Oil & Machinery employees who were attacked by a Royalist near Lodeve Space Port. Upon my entering their sensor area, the pilot soon attempted to fly away, but after a lengthy pursuit to the limits of the system's gravity well, they were intercepted and executed for crimes against Union citizens and high treason.

Fleet command prohibited such manoeuvres, but we flew to Oerlikon Stellar Observatory through the sun radiation area.

During this fly, our scanners were a bit jammed. But we still found that behind us was the Maquis battlecruiser in a few kilometres.

Captain of this ship immediately started his attempt to pull us in strange dialogue from announcing his victory?

I decided to ignore his strange words. Immediately after Rocher left the radiation area, I sent a signal to Battlecruiser Aubagne about an enemy ship. And took position near Observatory while our reinforcements were on their way.

I decided to talk with him to stall for time since reinforcements still were on their way to Zurich. But he just did not expect that someone will really answer his crazy talk and he just flew away.

Since it maybe was a trap, I decided to stay near the Observatory waiting for reinforcements.

After they entered the station area, we flew to the last position of Maquis battlecruiser but seems he escaped.

Yet another slippy situation: the Corse seems forgot they are tasked with law enforcement in Provence only, and trying to enforce laws in other Gallic systems too. Should this be proven, a sanction must be made to remind the Corsicans about their place in the modern hierarchy.

Subject: Maquis activity in Provence; Collaboration with a Royalist

This case is quite unusual, as we had to conclude a temporary truce with the enemy at the latter's initiative. We received notice that Maquis had been spotted near Monte Carlo Freeport and set out to intercept, on arrival we found one terrorist and a Royalist.

Following my orders, Lieutenant Brice attacked the Maquis as a more suitable target: with the Royalists there is always the chance that the pilot has come to surrender at our mercy, having seen the futility of their endeavour, but with the Maquis the situation is different - they are blind and deaf to our arguments.

During the scrum, in which the Maquis pilot did try to prove they had the rudiments of a brain by prioritising the Royalist as the target, a Brigand gunboat belonging to Maquis appeared on the scene. Soon after, Royalist offered a temporary collaboration to take down the enemy gunboat and we agreed.

Following the battle, both Maquis vessels were destroyed [1] [2] and the Royalist was allowed to fly away in peace in celebration of Christmas past. Hopefully this act won't get us in trouble in the future, but will convince them that surrendering to justice is not a mandatory death sentence.

My Maréchal... *salutes*

I returned, thanks Dieu. My report follows, Monsieur.

My last battle was le complete victory, but I personally ended it in my escape pod. Our courageux pilotes being occupied by dodging enemy fire obviously forgot to scoop my pod. So, after few days of hunger and peeing in my combat suite I was rescued in deep Taus by some remote group of... them. I couldn't understand their language, but I was happy (at first at least) to realise: they weren't Kusarians and they were all girls.

I was well taken care of. I had a long warm shower. My wounds were cleaned and well treated. Meals were delicious and on time. After few days I was recovered enough to be transported to some kind of facility. They tied me hard to a chair and interrogation started. I told them everything I new in first minute: my name and my rank. They pushed couple of minutes more, but I couldn't understand questions and they didn't understand my Je ne sais pas, Je ne sais pas! I repeated it like dozens of times, so they gave up. They left le room and only that long legged blond stayed to keep her pretty eye on me.

And her eyes were all over me. Being well trained Gallic combat pilot, officer and le gentleman - it was very embarrassing for me. To make things worse, something dropped in my eye and she thought I winked on her. She jumped on me and I used all my skills to not provide what she was after for. I thought I was almost raped, but now I know that part came a bit later. Le girl went out and after an hour another showed up. She locked le door behind her and I knew what will happen next.

That day I learned how they say "come-on, idiot" and "don't be such a prick". They were trying for hours, but thanks to my training I resisted. Next day was very like previous one, except interrogation part. They obviously realised I knew nothing, but was too early to kill me yet. Day three passed in a same maner. And le next one.

Day five was special. All girls they had tried to break me, with totally no success. That morning le old lady was the first person to enter and lock le door behind. Of course, nothing happened, so they sent le next one, maybe a bit older. Next two days old ladies were regular, but thanks Dieu my meals were grandiose so I survived all the torture. Days were passing fast. After that weeks were passing fast too.

Their ability to keep me in chains dropped eventually, so I managed to break myself out. As any other experienced pilot I followed le smell of fuel and soon I managed to reach their docking bays unnoticed. I stole their Stargazer, sneaked out from le system and here I stand before you, waiting for a medal.

No, Monsieur... I have no idea where did I pick crabs from... *blinking*

No, I don't know what did they wrote on my back either. Did they wrote something? What? "Merci and send us another one"? ... No, Monsieur... I can't guess why would they do that.

Command would like to see you and your ship in the new area of responsibility, Languedoc. The threat from Maquis has increased, we have unconfirmed information about their outpost somewhere within the system: try to capture a couple of their pilots alive, maybe on interrogation they will tell you where to look for a nest of these vermin.

Capitaine Corbeil we reached the Languedoc system.

We will stop sending reports for a while, I am guessing by lowering our visibility we can catch a few pilots by surprise.

Since we are smaller than Valors or Obstinate, I think checking asteroid fields is a good idea for the start.

Bonsoir. This is Sous-Lieutenant Coulomb reporting in.

I responded to a distress signal from one of our capital ships, the \*/~GNS-Carnot. They'd reported the presence of a supersized alien ship right in the middle of Orkney. I've been vaguely aware of the existence of such beasts, but I've never seen them for myself. Its size and radiance were dangerously beautiful, and its weapons even more deadly. We promptly engaged the alien and things were going relatively swimmingly, until a second one of them began to target me, a much smaller alien like that of fighter craft that was handled by the fighters on our side. Despite that, I was still able to successfully perform bombing strikes on the massive alien and end its life with the support of [GN]GNS-Arrogante, Evelyn.Taylor, DRG|Lion, and our fellow soldier \*/~Elroy.Brice. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, the Carnot was the only friendly casualty in this fight, and will need to be dragged back to the nearest capable shipyard for extensive repairs. It could not withstand close range combat with the beast. the Arrogante suffered heavy damage but survived the fight.

That is all. Coulomb out.
