I wish the devs were able to include all the stuff shown in the E3 trailers - I've never ssen them before - into the final version.
The Liberty Bs chain lanching ships... is just... WOW
Opening and closing wings on take off, dogfights in the atmosphere and walk in cities as yourself *drool*
On a second though I wish I newer saw that, the released game pales in comparison.
But back to the first video, it looks like a junker in the jam, and I always thought he was an outcast because of the cardi cigarette.

The guy says they made this video as a goodbye to Digital Anvil. Maybe he would know something about the source code...
EDIT:
In the video description, he says:
