That is valid. The Discord Team did announce this quite some time ago, though. Can't say they didn't make an effort.

Pretty sure I saw it both on Disco main discord + and somewhere on this forum too but it isn't really that much of a surprise.

Ah yes, the quintessential Imageshack and Photobucket 2013 experience.

A lot of my bbcode relies on me uploading complementary images on Discord, this update really really really fucked me over. I now have an absurd amount of picture links I need to reupload and replace. I genuinely want to die.

Old post, I know, but..

Reeeallly kicking myself for this one, looking back.

You can still get the images back. Just paste url into discord and it'll embed

Don't rely too much on Imgur too. They do sometimes some sweeping. So, keep the files you use regularly close by, or at least, searchable (thanks Win10), even on a Google Drive. And, use Imgur to actually show them. If they got swoop'd, replace them, easy. You just have to have the original file.

TL;DR: Keep the original files, with an s, and have multiple copies, they are png/JPEGs, they can't weigh 100GB. For Discovery I'm talking about.
