Right - outgoing, Left - incoming. So wherever you want to reach, take the right side or forward (and right section of the lane)
The conjunction situation, where you have to cross, remains a mystery to this day.
... There're a few modern theories about traffic without traffic lights and such. Just check it out.
Not sure tho, its not German.
(To my French brothers, just joking.)

This is all great in theory related to road traffic but in a 3D space it's much less helpful to orient things like that.

That's also part of "some" of those theories. There're multiple layers which connect to. So you go down, up and such. No lights, no nothing.
Space game but same thing. We got upper lane, lower lane. Right one, left one. We don't have a 4D lane...
The question is, why Gallia uses Right-Left Trade Lane.

In this situation, traffic will sag a bit, that's all, no biggy.
like - external site : marinetraffic - Reds are tankers, Greens are cargo vessels.
It wont be a straight line from A to B, not quite.
Assuming there's like an imaginary RP where houses carry goods all the time and don't bother players with npcs.

The perfect argument in favour of vertical lanes.
