RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - monmarfori - 10-14-2024 It would allow players to stock up on Earhart materials way quicker, but leaves them very suspectible to piracy. I'd say it would be a high risk and high reward option. RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - Catto - 10-14-2024 Yes, because in practice most people mining are not doing it as part of a large group. The type of content is high risk and not popular enough to justify prohibiting a solo approach. RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - Uknown - 10-16-2024 No, i think it should not be able to dock into that space ... BUT We could extend to ships with 1000 of cargo (no capital ships) but i see one could fit, the glorious always useful CTE CT-40 "Gull" Civilian Transport It has 1000 of Cargo and of course Mining Gun Slot ![]() This will allow people to bring a slightly more capacity ship than a freighter but keep it under control so we don't see 5Kers moving in and out, and giving players a slight advantage to carry a little bit of cargo, currently with my Draugr i am able to carry 64 to 65 units of such cargo, with the Gull i would be able to carry 99-100 units of such cargo, which is a benefit without actually break the game ... but i consider hegemon would be too big for it. So maybe a restriction for just certain ships instead of cargo ones, allowing only snubs, freighters, and the glorious Gull Civilian Transport, and that is it, everyone happy! RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - Chenzo- - 10-16-2024 The Hegemon is Polish. Hegemon cannot into unchartered space. RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - Valdorel - 10-16-2024 I'd say no. As not only is it a pocket 5ker, its kind of a pocket cruiser (think real historical Q-ships) as well, with its twin BC heavy turrets. I really enjoy the way the current uncharted's work limited to smaller ships, and the amount of time it takes to stockpile Uncharted Materials. Because if the change were made no one would use freighters in Earhart systems ever again, and we dont need to exile Freighters back into useless obscurity so soon after giving them purpose again. RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - StellarViss - 10-17-2024 Not to echo the same points made by people already but a Hegemon would be easier target then a other transports simply because it is slow really slow anyone trying to catch you would be able to do so easy. And from experience fly a Hegemon and attacking them they tend to blow up quickly when the components are targeted especially if the Hegemon player doesn't know how to strafe. RE: Hedgemon - Community opinon - Helix - 10-17-2024 I kind of agree with the other sentiments here, espicially the possibility of entering the Uncharteds on larger ships. With the recent changes to how passengers work on liners, I wonder if we can disable the ability for these larger ships with larger cargo holds from being able to even pick up or transport any of the items obtained from the Uncharted systems. Would be nice to roleplay sending entire expeditions out to the systems instead of just having to leave a majority of your fleet outside the Jump hole waiting around. Just a thought. |
