RE: Modular Shipyard Information - Chronicron - 11-08-2024

An extra useful bit of info, thank you. @staff Would be pretty cool if this was included as a part of that

RE: Modular Shipyard Information - A Magpie - 11-09-2024

Updated OP with the list of restrictions.

RE: Modular Shipyard Information - A Magpie - 11-12-2024

Updated for new patch.

RE: Modular Shipyard Information - Lusitano - 11-13-2024

it is "interesting" to see factions that don't have capabilities to buid big ships,or even none, to have big bonus, and factions that have capabilities to even build big capital to have zero bonus, like te Outcasts and Zoners!!

RE: Modular Shipyard Information - A Magpie - 11-13-2024

Get a modeler on the line and make ships exclusive to those factions. The Maltese experimental Destroyer might become one for Outcasts, but if you really want Zoner ships produced off pobs, Livadia could be overtaken by Corsairs and Zoner POBs can be the only source of Zoner caps.

House military-industrial complexes are what they are. The Navy contracts DSE and Ageira to produce their hardware.

Junkers not getting a bonus seems a bit off, like...50% at least would be reasonable. Half our job is welding stuff into vaguely ship like entities.

I do understand capital ships should be restricted but no reason for the Liberty Frigate being restricted it shoud just be a Civilian frigate so everyone can fly it

I'd like to add to this this bit from the Story Post from the Patch Log for 5.2:

The Gaians establish the "Green-Gold Road" with the Hogosha. This sees Gaians purchase Wildcat Gold from the Junkers as intermediaries, and selling it to the Hogosha aboard Sandur Base in exchange for Engine Components and other Kusari specialty goods. The Hogosha then launder the illicit Gold for industrial applications on Kusari's markets.

This would suggest that the gaians either are incapable or at least largely unable to construct engines for their ships. This makes sense given Gaians are not nearly as industrialist as say the Mollys are.

Can somone send me a Pictire of that New Modular Liner thing? Or maybe more than one? Also the Longhorn is not Restricted as you Claim. The Ship haves Civilian Tech Cell.

It has Liberty Civilian techcell, but the POBs that can manufacture it can only be of the IFFs listed.
